Also thinking that Robyn looks very old for 42. She is not aging well.

The wrinkles, the posture, the frown and the clothing. Robyn looks like the oldest wife.

Speaking of that.......I was watching some People Magazine video on youtube the other day, and Janelle looks *absolutely* stunning.  The difference was hard to believe.

I wonder why Robyn is so hell bent on having Meri stay in Flagstaff.

Without Meri, there is no plural marriage. Without plural marriage, there is no show. Without the show, there is no mansion or money.

Ah, the mini bikes. Another throw away scene that is supposed to show us that Kody is an engaged father. And worse still, another talking head with Ari and Sol.

So as expected, one month later and Kody hasn't make any moves towards therapy. Christine is absolutely right, he is trying to string Janelle along.

Why does Robyn keep sticking her nose in the other marriages?  She doesn’t get to tell the other wives what to do, and whether they have to allow Kody in their home.

There is just so much lying by Kody and Meri:

1) Robyn pretending that Meri is a good friend and will be missed, but not reaching out to Meri to see how she is. Meri must have been so lonely during Covid.

2) Kody saying that he keeps reaching out to Janelle to reconcile and she says no. Dude, If you were trying to reconcile then you would have proactively set up counseling. You would reconcile with your kids.

Even Robyn says that Kody isn't reach out to Janelle.

3) Robyn pretending that she cares about Janelle's and Kody's relationship rather than cares about money.

I think they are feeling the financial noose tightening. The show probably feels like it is slipping away. They have lost control of the money and the narrative.

Robyn didn't really want a relationship with her sister wives. She didn't want to be part of shared child care. She wants to be the perfect and favored wife. She manipulates the situation to be viewed as the victim and damsel in distress. And she wants the family money.

I like this Meri who blows up Robyn's narrative and Kody's narrative. She is realistic and pragmatic.

Is this skeleton restaurant the only place that would let them film because of Covid?

Salsa Brava and Fat Olives are the two restaurants they usually go to. One of the kids (can't remember if it was Gwendlyn or Mykelti) said they were two spots that were receptive to filming and had extra room to accommodate them. Idk about Covid, but they are restaurants at which the parents like to eat (according to whichever kid it was).

Robyn knows the answer to Meri's question about why Kody isn't trying to win her back, but she won't say.  I don't understand why Meri trusts this woman.  She is not her friend.

Janelle saying there hasn't been any abuse or neglect blows my mind!! Is she kidding? I want to root for her but that is plain ridiculous and pathetic on her part. She has been severely financially and emotionally abused, she along with her kids have been treated like crap and an inconvenience for years. SMH

Bwahaha, Robyn saying that Kody still talks about them all, including Meri, being on the property.

We know that's not true.

Kody has time and again said that he doesn't want to be with Meri. He doesn't want to reconcile.

Kody doesn't want to be on the property. He wants to sell the property and make a profit.

I really want Janelle and Meri to have a talk. They've come a long way in their relationship over the course of the show. They'll never be BFFs like Janelle and Christine, but they are able to communicate now.

I'm sick of Meri being stuck in the Robyn ghetto.

GAHHHHHHHH...

Meri - you are leaving. You are moving to Parowen. You are finally recognizing that you and Kody will never, ever be together again.

Robyn - you are in a monogamous relationship. All of Kody's other wives have left.

Accept it!

This episode is ho hum.

On the positive side, Kody isn't interacting with anyone but the kids while they ATV/minibike. So there are a lot of lying solo sofa sessions and that's all.

But the dueling conversations of Meri tearfully moving on and Robyn wanting her to stay and the optimistic conversation between Janelle and Christine aren't providing enough drama to keep me entertained.

Meri knows it is over but hasn't been given the space to move on. Robyn gripes about the loss of sister wives to lord her legal status over (and no access to their money). She is still blaming Christine for everything.

Kody is angry and throwing jabs at Christine and is mystified that his ramen curls and pecs and 6 pack can't lure Janelle back.

And Christine and Janelle see a future together as family and sister wives. They will have independence, friendship and laughter.

How long can they draw this out?

I'm at about 43 minutes in (on my DVR). Robyn is going on to Meri about how Christine just destroyed everything for Kody, his past, yada yada.

God bless Meri and her utter lack of a poker face. She is not buying one ounce of Robyn's bullshit. I can almost hear the gears turning in Meri's head.
