Yes, I don't doubt it's doable. I went to destination weddings in other parts of the country, and even outside the country. I meant that it was most probably compensated, and she could have chosen another venue anyway.

Teresa was discussing her engagement to Louie. It was her wedding special after all. He asked her to marry him during their trip to Greece in the fall of 2021. Specifically at the Amanzoe resort in Porto Heli, in mainland Greece (south Greece- the Peloponnese). The couple visited the neighboring islands of Spetses, and Hydra, Santorini, and Athens too. There are photos like this one (of the proposal) from her social media and other sources.

It's funny you'd mention this. I've set my machine to record all new episodes, but this week housewives and vanderpump were skipped. I can watch both using "on demand", but it was odd they weren't recorded.

It drives me nuts when I miss important information on these episodes.  Which episode shows Marge telling Jenn about non payment? I remember a realtor insinuating her hubby wasn't paid for something,  but that wasn't to Marge. Please point me in the right direction.

I think Teresa's wedding was brilliant in regards to optics. She invited every bravolebrity, whether they liked her or not. She looks like the one who took the high road, and I guarantee she wasn't insulted about some of the early departures.

Everyone who attends a wedding should understand their gift should be on par with the cost of inviting them (or more). I would bet money that Margs gift was either money or a $300 gift that can be exchanged.

I think Marge keeps her mom at arm's length because of past issues. She's said once her mom has a couple of drinks, she can and will say anything that brings her attention. Given Marge is similar (just omit the drinks as she's all about the spotlight) she'll send mom home if it competes with her few minutes on camera.

I cannot remember clearly but there was a wedding on RHOA, either Nene renewing her vows with Greg or maybe it was Kim Z's wedding but someone got ONE plate, it might have been Versace but the guest gifted one plate, for all I know it was a $300 plate but one, why not give a pair of something that equals said amount?

35 years ago when I married for the first time I went to a couple of stores and registered for gifts as the bride does, from a person who is now my very best friend she gave my husband and myself a sculpture of a little boy and a dog. As a newly married woman I had neither a little boy or a dog, she ignored the registry and went rogue, it was on display until I moved to the next house and it got "lost" when we moved. 

I am hoping Teresa got a lot of useless cheap gifts.

Part of me kind of loves this idea (I'm not right in the head). I've looked at registries and thought "who do they think they're inviting? the Rockefellers?" I, usually find something appropriate or go rogue but keep it tasteful. It hasn't gotten to the point of spite dish giving. yet.

We had friends gift us one of the ugliest ceramic vases I had ever seen. I had left it on a table, with the gift receipt inside, to remind me to return it. The friend came over unexpectedly, saw it on display, recognized it's hideousness,  and gave me a big smile (obviously they hadn't seen the gift receipt). It went back the  next day.

Lol, well, 31 years ago I was a little more blunt. Given I had been on my own for a number of years, there wasn't much I wanted, so I said no gifts necessary UNLESS it's something the guest insists upon, so i will never be offended by monetary gifts. Hubby and I had more than enough household supplies once we combined.

Louie is not after her money because she doesn't really have money. A lot of Teresa’s money goes toward liens because of her past fraud, and tax fraud cases. She didn't only go to prison, she had to repay credit card debt (she paid all of it), restitution to creditors, repay loans her and Juicy received, and back taxes (I'm sure with fines on top of them) because Joe Guidice didn't pay taxes for many years. He went to prison, and he was then deported, so she has to pay all. She has a $17,000 lien for 2020, and 2021 (from the past) and she still owes just over a million in taxes (from 2000, and on). She makes significant timely monthly payments, and will continue to do so until those liabilities don't exist per her attorney.

I’m going to throw Teresa a compliment, but don’t worry - it’s backhanded! I think she’s actually beautiful. When she’s bare-faced and natural (like when she was listening to Luis rant about Joe in the previous episode), it startles me how pretty she is. And how she absolutely ruins it with her level-five tan, jet black hair, and frosted makeup. In my experience, no one pulls off that super-dark look unless they’re born with it. It’s like too many gradients removed from their natural state or something. But I don't mind the darker hair, think it suits her. I thought the hair color she had for this wedding was an awful choice. Too close to the fake tan of her skin.

She looked a lot better in the early seasons, especially when she was not attending events. No bad plastic surgery, little and natural makeup, no fake tan, only natural tan in the summer.

To me Gia and Milania look like Tre and Gabriela and Audriana look like Joe.  It’s funny because Gia and Milania both seem perfectly fine with the cameras, like Teresa, and the other two shy away from them like Joe used to.  He never did any TH’s, unlike his brother in law who can’t seem to get enough of them 🙄

Thy never have a good storyline.  Besides,as long as Andy is alive, they will be on he show in some capacity.  Andy LOVES them.  They also go out to the Hamptons a lot and mingle with the rich and famous.

Thank you for clarifying this. I've seen so many posts talking about Luis being with Teresa for her money. I know she makes a good salary, but with her history and Housewives not being a forever gig, I don't think of her as someone you'd want to be with for money. Maybe Luis thinks Teresa is beautiful, fun, and enjoys her company. 

If anyone could have pulled off that hair, it's Teresa! The wedding looked like a blast, but I didn't think the burlesque was a good idea for a family event. 

There have been instances I absolutely sided with Margaret and the Gorgas over Teresa, but they've even annoyed me lately. If you're not happy for Teresa and Luis STAY HOME. Don't make passive-aggressive posts online either. A part of Joe should still want his sister to be happy and enjoy her big day. I thought it was ridiculous how much they wanted Melissa's family to be at the wedding in the first place when none of them like Teresa. I've never been married, but I can understand on such a special day, it should feel like a big, huge LOVE BUBBLE. :) Not people who only want to be there for the cameras or whatever. 

I didn't like Jen bringing up the Gorgas either. I think Gabriella was dreading the drama, and it got her emotional. 

Are there things about Luis that are concerning? Yes. But I still am not convinced he's horrible when his whole family and Teresa's dorters love him. I've seen comparisons to Brooks from RHOC, and that was quite different imo. He said and did a number of creepy things, including hitting on Briana in a very crude manner, having relations with a porn star around the age of his kids, then the cancer scam.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I haven't heard anything about Luis that compares to that. Has he been fake the last few years dating Teresa? Does he come from an entire family of con artists who pretend to love Luis and are being fake nice to Teresa? I truly don't know. Perhaps he has a temper and a past but isn't this evil guy. Maybe Teresa can understand that and it doesn't bother her given she's not the girl next door herself. Anyway, I wish them well. Teresa went through a lot in a very short time span, and I think she deserves a break and happiness.

What was weird was that the makeup girl was saying it’s inappropriate for Jen to be talking to Teresa about Joe when SHE was the one who brought it up first!  
 

The dorters all looked beautiful.  They all look 35, but beautiful 35 year olds.

I actually really liked Teresa’s ceremony dress, it was all the “extras” that made it absurd.  Her little Bo peep lingerie reception dress however, not so much.  Now on Luis I preferred his darker jacket for the reception to the ceremony white.  I never liked white dinner jackets though, they just remind me of waiters.

Did we really need that flurry of name tags every time someone we’ve been watching all season came on the screen??  Like we know who Paul, Delores’ boyfriend is, and unfortunately we know who Jackie is.  I wish I didn’t, but I do. You don’t have to keep telling us five thousand times.  It was distracting.  I’m guessing most of the women who received name tags were housewives, I only watch NY and NJ so I only recognized Dorinda and I think Jill was there.

If I was Fessler and her husband I would have stayed.  Maybe they were contractually obligated to leave.  I would have been pissed.

This has probably already been discussed as I’m watching this a year too late, but I think Bill does reconstructions and things of that nature, so not purely “cosmetic” surgery.  I may be wrong though.

I’d be shocked if she paid even a fraction of that cost.  Andy and co. really went all out for this season with the European vacay and then this outlandish wedding.  I’m surprised, he’s been pretty stingy the last few seasons.
