Did they really just let Marianne get away in the first episode? I'm glad for the character, but I'm not happy with this "Joe is being framed" thing. I don't want him to get away with it all. He is a serial killer. I want this other killer to be caught, too.

I'm tempted to watch the rest, but I don't want to, since there are only two episodes in this batch.

Kate might have just told Joe the  hard truth  “You’re going to be so disappointed when you realize that women of the 21st century can take care of themselves.”   Which is the entire premise of the show and Joe’s overriding problem.

Awww Joe’s dick is not hard after killing Vic.

Kate may be the only person on the show who owns curtains so Joe can’t watch her until she decides to open them.

This season is really boring so far.

Yeah it's really not working for me. It's just a completely different kind of show than the first three seasons. I have no idea what's going on, and that's frustrating and annoying. We always knew what was going on with Joe before because he was pulling all the strings. Now he's a passive character in his own story.

Have to laugh at Kate calling Joe “Captain America” after Endgame reduced Steve Rogers into a guy so obsessed with his one-time girlfriend he literally rewrote history just to insert himself back into her life.

Damn, I knew Alfred Vic would be next.

I was surprised Vic was killed only because Sean Pertwee isn't a minor actor, and Vic was kind of a minor role. But maybe SP didn't want something longer term.

Oh, I knew I recognized him. I only saw one episode of Gotham, but I grew up watching the actor. Or was that his dad? I think it was Jon Pertwee. Worzel Gummidge, and Doctor Who.

Okay, so i misremembered the Poe story assigned in the last episode, but this one checks out, too! We almost even got a “Cask of Amontillado” situation in that crypt! Lol. I guess Poe’s the bard of emo stalker-killers.

Things seem to be moving at light speed with Joe’s stalker figuring out his identity and now they’re going to meet up. I guess it will turn from a Who Dunnit to a battle of Evil vs Evil, or, as I suspect, another one similar to Joe who truly believes that he’s good and is just “doing what he has to do” to protect others against the real evil. Someone is trying to out-Joe Joe here.

This is the second episode in a row that I noticed the camera lingering on a blonde middle-aged paparazzi lady, first outside the art show then outside the funeral. There was also press outside the club in episode 1, so I’m assuming she was also featured then, too.  It’s possible that she works for the paper that broke the news about the pinky being sent to the police, and other assorted articles that have been splashed up on screen as we’re learning about these ritzy yet scandalous characters. I’m not ruling out that she’s the “you” behind the stalking, trying to earn herself a Pulitzer (or British equivalent if that’s US only) by creating an Eat-the-Rich killer and framing a new guy on the scene, but her investigative journalism instincts kick in, and she uses her resources to locate all of these other articles about Joe to paste on his wall. Paparazzi lady is officially on my wall as a feasible suspects!

So Penn's information about asking for fewer sex scenes makes me look at their sex scene in this episode.  Some of the shots made me wonder---did they use a body double?

He wanted less nudity which is probably why they stayed fully dressed.

This is so dull and the characters are so random, unbelievable and uninvolving.

Pretty Little Liars did it all SO much better.

It sucks to see Sean Pertwee gone so long, he's a great actor and I thought he would make for a great obstacle for Joe.

I kind of like the idea of the main You being someone stalking Joe instead of the other way around, but this season isn't landing with me. I like seeing so much of London and some of Joe's snark is fun as always, like commenting on how Kate seems to be going on a tour of every place where your likely to get murdered in London, but this season is really struggling.

Kate had no idea how right she was with her "Your going to be so disappointed when you realize that women in the 21st century can take care of themselves" line. Joe's whole personality and many crimes revolve around the idea that he needs to protect these helpless women from the world and themselves.

Not the newest version of PLL, which was exactly as awful as this season of this mess, if not worse.

But I too think this season is abomination. This were the worst 5 hours of television I've seen in a while.

While this show remains a guilty pleasure for me, I think it knows how ridiculous it is and is honestly slightly trolling us.

So while I'm in the minority on this, I'm really enjoying this season. I feel like Joe of all people deserves a little turnabout, so I am fully on board with watching him stalked, watched, victimized, set up, paranoid, etc. Bring it on!

I definitely want Joe to be caught/killed in the end, but in the meantime, this is all kind of fun for me.

Also, my unspoiled pick for the "You" who is stalking Joe is the student who was sleeping with what's his name -- the neighbor.

She knows way too much about Whodunits, she's constantly around, she had motive to kill the slimy professor, and she also has motive to screw with Joe's peace of mind if (for instance) she was smart enough to see through his fake-teacher persona.

I think it's not going to change the world, but I do think some of the dialogue is genuinely clever and funny, and I do think the show is making it much clearer now than in season 1 that it is not rooting for Joe, and that it is aware that he is a toxic, misogynistic, sociopathic person.

For me, the show continues to be a stealth dark comedy, which makes it a lot more fun for me to watch and then instantly forget.

Last but not least: I admit that Joe falling deep into the painted cat's beautiful eyes made me kind of "aw" and laugh out loud.
