Season 3: Anticipation and Speculation

Season 3 is filming in Thailand. Sun, sand, and surf in a tropical paradise.  The new cast includes:

OTT Leah from RHONY.  Always too much. Always exhausting. She tries to be edgy.  She fails. 

From RHOP, we have Giselle and Candiace.  

RHOSLC provides Heather and Whitney to the mix, while Alexia and Marysol from RHOM join.  The RHOM team should be best suited to the heat of Thailand. 

Finally, RHOA's Porsha welcomes us all.

Sure, Thailand. It's no Bluestone Manor of anger and recriminations, but it will have to do. 😁 Come for the travel porn; stay for the drama. 

This is the place to fill others in on what you expect from these cast members and speculate on season 3.

This cast is whack. Happy to see the ladies from Potomac and Porsha but the rest are either “ugh” or “who?!?”

Well I know from her one episode of Project Runway that Giselle is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.  I'm excited for her.

I'm sorry but Women 2, 7, and 8 all have the same surgeon.  It's going to be tough to know who is who.  They all look like they're from the same lab.

I know all the housewives but I’m not a fan of Leah at all. She sucks. Maybe the other ladies will put her in her place.

Ever since Porsha’s spin off with her fam I have not liked her much so we will see how she comes across in this.

I don't like Leah either, she is dramatic, and thirsty, and unfortunately being offered to participate in this probably means she might be on a revamped RHONY. I'm glad Porsha is not on the Atlanta HWs anymore. She showed her true self again on her spinoff.

Will it? I don't watch SLC or Miami but I can tell these women apart.

I've seen both cities so perhaps it helps me, but I don't think the women look anything alike either. These three should be easy to distinguish on the show even if they're not in the picture above. They obviously have similar coloring, but they vary as far as their ages, facial features, and body types, plus different voices. It did take me a while to tell Lisa and Meredith apart on SLC though. 

This is Alexia, woman 2, aka Cuban Barbie. Her accent might help you tell it's her on Girls Trip. I go back and forth on personality, but her life really doesn't need fake drama, it's like made for TV. I admire how strong she is. I think she's one of the prettiest Housewives too. 

Heather (#7) and Whitney (#8) are cousins. Maybe there's some cousin resemblance I never noticed? Whitney is one of the youngest Housewives and has a babydoll voice. The WWC guys imitate her really well. They're two of the cooler ladies on Salt Lake. 

If they still look alike to some people, I guess it just happens. A friend of mine gives me crap for thinking two of the Bridgerton brothers look alike. No matter how much he insists they don't, I still say they do. lol

I don't think the three women look alike. 

Alexia from Miami doesn't seem to look too much different than in the past- she had cheek fillers, and lip fillers (the lips are not obvious here, but they are on the show because she was probably between treatments).

Those pictures of the entire cast don’t do any of them any favors.  They all look awful.  I only know Leah and I can’t stand her, so I won’t be watching.

Pic to the left looks like a 20-something Alexia, and she's 55 now, so it would make sense for her to look somewhat different. IRC, she said she got a nose job that made her nose too small, which she tries to fix with filler. Her hair and makeup are also a little different. I can tell it's her, but I also watched RHOM. Whatever work she's had done, I do think she was a natural beauty who didn't need anything. We've also seen other housewives where it's like, holy glow-up! lol

Yes, there is a difference of almost three decades between those photos. I don't look the same like in my 20s, and I didn't have any plastic surgery. Some housewives are unrecognizable judging from older photos and also from previous seasons like Porsha Williams, Theresa Giudice, Nene Leakes, Vicki Gulvalson, Dina Manzo, Larsa Pippen, Kim Zolciak, Shannon Beador, Dorit Kemsley, Adriana De Moura, Brandi Glanville, Jeana Keough, Emily Simpson, Bethenny Frankel, Kyle Richards, Taylor Armstrong, Adrienne Malouf, Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita. Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, and Diane Jenkins had plastic surgery/fillers before the show.

Same with me. People from my past don't always recognize simply due to getting older, hair and makeup. Zero done to my face. In Housewife land with all the noses and lips done and whatnot, you're kind of the exception if you look similar at 55 to 25. Garcelle Beauvais is someone who was and is naturally very beautifully and epitome of aging gracefully.

The pressure to look young is real. I feel like I'm one of the few women my age who has never had Botox.  I don't want to judge these women for messing with their faces, but I wish they'd relax a bit. If any of you have seen RHOM, Mama Elsa (mom of the third lady posted) was kind of a cautionary tale. She resembled Sophia Loren when she was young, but the plastic surgeon she used destroyed her gorgeous face.

Most of those I mentioned don't look that great (although I'm sure they think so), they look fake, and generic.

Google tells me that S3 is going to premiere on Peacock in Spring 2023.  My DVR also didn't pick up any new episodes of this recently.  S2, which was at Dorinda's Bluestone Manor, was aired on Fridays a little while back.  Is that the one you saw?

If they filmed this in July, it was after Potomac filmed (save for Robin's tacked on wedding footage). Not sure when this current season of Miami filmed.

I saw some news/speculation which suggests Leah McSweeney was not respectful to the culture, Don’t know how true this is, but it sure wouldn’t surprise me.

This group is basically my least favorite HWs under one roof.   It has to be bad when Porsha is the one I despise the least. 

Even though I can’t stand ANY of these women, the only ones I could tolerate being around for 5 minutes or more would be Porsha, Candiace, and Whitney - as long as she didn’t speak.  The others are just colossal assholes at their cores, IMO.
