LadyChaos November 9, 2021 Share November 9, 2021 An abandoned horse covered in blood leads the CSI team to a halfway house for convicted murderers. Also, Grissom and Sara begin to circle their prime suspect in the David Hodges case. Link to comment
LadyChaos November 18, 2021 Author Share November 18, 2021 I really enjoyed this episode....I think the scene where they arrested the son was over the top....but other than that. I think the: Where have you been? remark is going to get Grissom thinking that its time to step off the boat and join the world again. 1 Link to comment
roctavia November 18, 2021 Share November 18, 2021 The sister was super creepy... Clearly they are both deranged, but she definitely portrayed it well. Too bad Hodges had to blow their lead on Wix, and now that he knows they're on to him he is messing with the crime lab.... I hope the other investigative team (I forget if they were like an internal affairs or just a state team?) can use that as more evidence he's the bad guy and trying to cover it up... His shrapnel wound would sure implicate him... The horse mystery was interesting, but I was surprised the CSI lead just assumed the kid was the killer since there might have been a shovel used... it made it even more obvious that he didn't do it. 6 Link to comment

Since I'm sure he always wears a suit when he meets with the CSIs (the jacket covering the wound), they won't even see the "oh there's blood on your shirt" (like the sister (sorta) did) in order to use that as probable cause to get that warrant. 2 Link to comment
milkyaqua November 18, 2021 Share November 18, 2021 Yes, decent epi but of course leave it to Hodges to blow it (there's a reason a lot of folks find the character annoying). So exactly how did Wix get Roby removed from her position? Obviously someone is more concerned about optics than being fair in this case. The mystery was fine but the guy with the anger issues better hope he isn't being typecast as angry guy between this and NCIS. Folsom and Allie weren't annoying this epi either (for the most part) and I guess Park is there to stay for the time being. Link to comment
LadyChaos November 18, 2021 Author Share November 18, 2021 With each passing episodes....I'm liking Folsom more and more...and Allie less and less. At this point I wouldn't be fussed if there was a s2, and she didn't comeback. 3 Link to comment

Grrarrggh November 18, 2021 Share November 18, 2021 I liked that the disabled sister (played by a disabled actor!) gets to be just as evil as her brother. Josh is getting on my nerves. We get it, you're in love with Allie. Do you need to be giving her puppy eyes and loaded comments every single episode? It's kind of pathetic Grissom is only now coming to the conclusion that facts don't matter to many people. It's been that way since truthiness back in 05/06. Link to comment
emma675 November 19, 2021 Share November 19, 2021 I'm really remembering why I hated Hodges the first time around. Super smart and yet so dumb at the same time. Why on earth did he think it was a good idea to wait to confront Wix? It doesn't matter why he picked you to set up, it just matters that they get you off and all of those criminals stay behind bars, Hodges, you idiot. He was always so selfish and it seems like time hasn't changed that trait. I really hope the pills solve Grissom's land sickness and this is the last we hear of it. And are we supposed to suspect that Wix thinks he's hiding all of his crazy plan from his sister but she really knows what's going on and is fine with it? Link to comment
Snazzy Daisy November 19, 2021 Share November 19, 2021 Hodges dumb dumb‼️ He thinks Wix is going to honestly tell him why he chose him? What has encouraged Anna to be involved in Wix’s business and why? Financial gain? It seems like someone higher up is helping Wix pulling some strings. Am starting to lose interest in this storyline, hoping for more surprising twist etc. Dear Maxine’s son, please go away and never come back. Thanks! 1 Link to comment

But you just know there's going to be some dust up at the casino he's working at and CSI will have to investigate, ugh! Link to comment
Xeliou66 November 20, 2021 Share November 20, 2021 I’m enjoying the show - this case was good and the larger arc of Grissom/Sara investigating the Hodges case has been good as well. I had a feeling about the attorney being corrupt from the start and his sister seems to be just as guilty as he is, I have a feeling the sister has known all along about what he’s been up to. The mystery of the week was good though I did predict who the killer would be, still enjoyable to watch. I did miss the coroner in this episode, I like him. Don’t care at all about Max’s son, I don’t get why they brought him on, his stuff has been pure filler that adds nothing to the show. 1 Link to comment
MrPissyPuppy November 20, 2021 Share November 20, 2021 That's not how animal microchips work (that you can scan them with a phone app & then go to a miraculous database that tells you everything about them) but okay ... I just consider this an alternate reality and kind of go with it. Link to comment
SVNBob November 20, 2021 Share November 20, 2021 It wasn't a phone app. It was an actual chip scanner, or at least a prop designated as one (looked a little like a lighted magnifying glass to me, possibly with the lens removed.) Link to comment
LadyChaos November 20, 2021 Author Share November 20, 2021 (edited) CSI has always played fast and loose with technological accuracy..... I mean...we all know that cases aren't solved within 2-3 days....even in 2021 it takes months for most evidence to be processed. Also, I feel like they've definitely toned down the Folsom/Allie dynamic, and it comes across more like friendship. They must be getting some feedback from the dailies....and reviews and twitter. I kind of think too....that up till this episode, the scene with Anna Wix, Grissom wasn't really invested in being back. I think he came because a friend was attacked and because Sara asked him too....I mean he was giving it his undivided attention and wanted to help a friend, but now....after the Anna scene, he is 100% invested and now he' is itching for a fight. Grizzly November 22, 2021 Share November 22, 2021 I didn't understand the whole Folsom bought the horse thing. Where is he going to board it? Horses are not cheap and just buying the horse had to cost thousands if not hundreds of thousands considering the bloodlines. Link to comment

The owner didn't seem to really want him back, and he said he cleaned out his savings....he also said he pulled some strings with contacts. Boarding a horse, depending on where he boards it, costs around 400-600 a month( at least where I live). We don't know what he lifestyle is to know whether that is sustainable or not. I know teachers that boards their horse and manage it just fine because thats the thing they do and spend money on. Edited November 22, 2021 by LadyChaos 3 Link to comment
jah1986 November 24, 2021 Share November 24, 2021 No one has anything to say about Max being unceremoniously escorted out of her crime lab? Do we think it's no big deal? Because it surprised me. I thought it was a good episode. Can't wait for Grissom to knock that smug look off of Wix's sisters' face. What a piece of work. 2 Link to comment
