This show has some audacity to introduce that Billie storyline in an episode all about how amazing and changed and brilliant Davis - a man who facilitated the gang rape of his mistress and then lied about it and paid her off - is. If this story does not lead to a very big, and very public reminder that he did far more than cheat on Charley, I'm officially done with this show.

I understand the writers are trying to tell a story about slut-shaming and grooming via Billie, but Prosper's role in that story doesn't track.

Prosper and Vi long-time close friends so he'd have known how abusive and awful Jimmy Dale was to Vi. Prosper would've wanted to protect his school-aged daughter from a known abuser. Perhaps Vi blindly labeled Billie as "the other woman" but I don't see how Prosper didn't take a shotgun and run Jimmy Dale outta town.

Davis was an accessory to rape and I remain disappointed he's Charlie's love interest.

RA and Darla up to their necks in payday loans when Darla has wealthy eager parents she's reconciled with, RA has a rich sister who offered to help and an author who just got paid by outing his paternity. People actually struggling with no family to help might find RA and Darla absurd.

Yes - when Darla said they should swallow their pride, I was like “DO IT.” Darla’s mother was offering her and Blue full support at one time. Payday loans should be avoided at all costs if possible, and it’s possible for them.

The show ignoring the gang rape is profoundly disappointing. It’s just lazy, and it’s becoming common for the show to drop/ignore major plot points.

I’ve had panic attacks and I appreciate the show exploring them with Micah. I’m a little surprised that Charley didn’t get him some therapy after what happened with the cop.

Agreed on all of the above.

Darla's mom is already paying for Blue to go to Sidwell Friends right? Darla's having a baby during a pandemic. If the parents have the money and are willing, let them help. The sad thing is that Darla confessed that she can't shake the feeling of dread. She knows that money is tight. One of the things I find off-putting is how no one else in the family seems to be paying any attention to the farm outside of the mess with the USDA. This is their family farm. Maybe the family might want to help RA shoulder that load.

The show ignoring the gang rape is especially egregious considering the commitment to have so many women behind the scenes but maybe they'll get around to it.

I'm looking at the episode titles:  1. "If you could enter their dreaming"; 2. "And dream with them deeply"; 3. "You would come back different."

I guess the writers wants us to dream with them deeply and believe that Davis and Nova are different people, who didn't do the awful things we saw them do.

I think Charley offered to help him in the episode before this one and he said No. RA's pride getting in the way again. He really is foolish sometimes.

I can't get past that.

Didn't RA fight over the farm? The 2nd will was found and he wanted none of the splitting decisions, it was his farm and father left it to him? RA wanted no help from Charlie or her business sense and involvement. Seems like he still doesn't, he rather by cribs he can't afford and get pay day loans.

The show really has some nerve introducing this plot with Billie all the while acting like Davis wasn't involved in a gang rape and the cover up that followed, or Jimmy Dale after Nova tracked him down to give his two cents for her book instead of talking to her own family. Its like the show thinks that if it just ignores the terrible things that its characters have done that we'll just forget all about them, even when it keeps seeming like the perfect time to bring it up, leaving it as a giant elephant in the living room.

RA is being an idiot, he has made a lot of progress over the show and has matured a lot, but he can still do some dumbass stuff when his pride is on the line. If its between losing their family farm or taking some money from his in laws, taking the money seems like a much better idea.

I'm glad Hollywood decided to ask Vi what was going on instead of assuming she was stepping out on him.

"What happens at the Real Spot stays at the Real Spot." We'll see about that.

I liked the juxtaposition of the first men's group meeting and the women just sitting around talking and sharing like they ordinarily do.

Aw jeez, is RA being pulled back into that thieving life? Just what Darla needs right now, RA back in jail while the bills are piling up.

Jimmy Dale. The horrible gift that keeps on giving. Ugh. He had some nerve to run around bragging about having raped somebody. Guess he was pretty confident everyone would believe him instead of Billie.

Something about Davis and Charley worries me. I think Charley's too confident she can run the media. Push comes to I bet she'll choose her political career over him. I just hope he doesn't cheat on her again because if it gets out, that'll leave her looking like a big fool in the public's eyes.

I liked that as well, but it made no sense why she hid it from him. Vi was being unfair. Hollywood wasn't getting on her case for helping out Celine and Gabriel, he was concerned about Vi's safety. Violet turns it around makes it about him judging her for helping people. What?

I have to say that Paula Jai Parker is impressing me with her range. She's come a long way from playing ratchet characters.

It pains my heart that the town really believed Vi's abuser husband over Billie, but I'm not surprised. Look at what's going on with R. Kelly and the people he abused. Folks still out here supporting him and stepping in the name of love.

RA's dumbassery is too much. I will never understand choosing to struggle instead of accepting help. He'd rather pay high interest fees on predatory loans than accept his wealthy sister's offer to help him. Darla's being a fool as well.

Oh, so Billie outed Nova. That makes what Nova did to Blue 10x worse.
