Understood, but that's where ABC screwed up...by not doing the tests earlier in the day. During the 20-minute (or so) Q&A with the audience, producers could have set up a remote connection with Sunny & Ana out of the room. And since they both spent the last 18 months remoting in, I'm sure there would have been no issues. But, ABC chose not to do that.

In my opinion, the Vice President should have been scheduled remotely from the beginning.

Wow. @CVC has posted quite the report from CNN in the media thread. It alleges The View gave the co-hosts COVID PCR tests Thursday afternoon, as per requirements from the Vice President's office, then gave the VP's office the "all clear" on Thursday night, but the tests didn't come back until Friday morning.
