Season 10-B Reunion Part 2

Leah and her daughters discuss their journey this season while Jade makes boundaries with her mom. Ashley and Bar break down how they overcome struggles and Tea gushes about Holly.

I don't watch Ashley's segments because I've barely been able to make room in my heart for Jade or Brianna. Does she live full-time as a Mya-in-the-Lady-Marmalade-video impersonator?

Leah continues to be dumber than the rear tire on her junk-filled SUV. Every time she says "breassssst," every snake within 100 miles goes on high alert. Also I don't believe she's been totally clean and sober as long or consistently as she claims.

I'm not a fan of any of these girls, but I did LOVE the way Bar and Ashley shut down Dr. Drew's questions about Bar's arrest.  Well done! 

Jade's mom understandably (because she was lying) was having difficulty keeping her story straight about Jade's prescriptions.  But, why did no one address the way her surgeon handled the entire process?  He let them dump her in the back of a van and take off without assuring that she received the proper medical attention.  I don't think he got the positive PR he thought he would get with this media attention.

 There was nothing wrong with Dr.Drew asking about Bar's arrest. Other TM's and their spouses or boyfriends have had those questions asked and they've responded. If he can't discuss the arrest and the pending court case then just say so and move one...the indignation and  rude repsonse was uncalled for. Bar better get used to some scrutiny now that he's on a national TV show...if he doesn't lke it then quit. 

You have a valid point about not discussing the surgery and the subsequent post surgery behavior of the "Doctor"...my only thought on that is maybe Dr. Drew was hesitant to criticize another physician and put himself in position of accusing the "Doctor" of malpractice. Perhaps the legal department at MTV told him not to discuss it on air. He could have said something to Sean about the way he disciplines Kloie...when I see the tape of Sean screaming in Kloie's face and coming close to being physical with her, I get sick to my stomach...Drew absoloutely should have called him out that.

I think she's sober. She looks very healthy, is totally coherent and neither of the baby daddies have voiced any concerns. It's important to remember that West Virginia has one the highest rates of opioid addiction in the country. It would be very easy for her to start using again if she was so inclined and we would have seen some indicators in her behavior. She's annoying, not well educated and her weird "talks" with her kids get on my nerves but I think she has remained clean since she had rehab and does have the desire to stay clean.

I thought it was interesting that when those questions were being asked Bar said that someone at MTV needs to get it together (although they do, but not for the reasons he thinks).  Bar, YOU need to get it together.  Some nerve sitting there with that attitude.  Does anybody know if the reunion was filmed before or after MTV cleaned house on producers?  I'm hoping to see less coddling from production in the future from those who survived the culling.

Jade's mom is so gross.  This is the first time I have actually seen Dr. Drew hold someone accountable.  He even folded with Josh.

Jade is right to stay away but damn I am so sad she is back with Sean and his gesture of flowers was for show.  Why couldn't he have given those to her before or after?

If Bar wants to collect that check, then he needs to answer questions. Who does he think he is? I think Ashley handled it in a mature manner.

Bar is out of his league with Ashley. She seems pretty smart and has a plan for the future. He's just all over the place and for a guy that seems to be an admitted alcoholic, he's still drinking and doing stupid stuff. I don't understand why Ashley's mother is eager to have them get married. Ashley and her mother seem to be in denial about how screwed up this guy is.

Sean is very manipulative. He will worm his way back into Jade's life like he always does and make promises to be better and help out with Kloie....then months later he will be back to his same old ways...yelling in Kloie's face (or maybe worse), fighting with Jade and calling her names, complaining about being a stay at home Dad and how esmasculating it is, and so on and so forth...these two are just so dysfunctional. I hope Jade doesn't cave and take him back...he will never change, it's baked in at this point.

I wonder what the official protocols are around what questions and follow-up questions the hosts are allowed to ask. I thought Bar's "I don't understand the basis for these questions?" was OTT ridiculous and I wish they would have responded, "They're based on police reports that you were arrested and have felony charges pending. Is that information correct?"

It was also ridiculous for Ashley to try characterize them as finally having their shit together and Bar's lawbreaking being 3 years ago when he has felony charges pending. His nearly resolved DUI charges are funny compared to that. And, even apart from that, does Bar have a job? Last we heard about his college career, he forgot about his midterms. What about him says "Good Husband Material" to Ashley or her mom?

That question was a huge point of contention between Ashley and her mom in the beginning and Pastor Tea flat out told Ashley that she didn't approve of Bar and she would not condone marrying that man. I mean she was dead serious and they fought about it.  Bar straightened up more and Ashley didn't budge so her mom softened and has been supportive since. I doubt either of them want to go back to the contentious days again and I think Pastor Tea is just rolling with it and hoping her daughter knows what she is doing.
