Waldo13 February 22 Share February 22 What could be ironic is the fact that Victor won’t be the one who breaks up Claire/Eve and Kyle but it will be Summer❄️x6😾😾. Well Kyle, Victor didn’t give us much grief when we started to date. Yes Summer❄️x6😾😾, that was a different time as Kyle said and way before the latest incident with Jack and Nikki. Whenever I hear Summer❄️x6😾😾 being condescending, being 😾😾😾, and calling Harrison my son, I still hoping beyond hope that Tara returns and knocks the snot out of that snotty passive aggressive bitch. The best part of the week is that Manic Phyllis🕷️ is missing. I actually had a friend many years ago who faked cancer. She didn’t scam anyone out of money but she had all her friends and even family believing she was sick. Faked chemo appointments, faked being sick from chemo. Even kept it from her husband. It went on for months before she finally confessed that it was a lie. I never did learn why she did it. 5 1 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8588074
NinjaPenguins February 22 Share February 22 12 hours ago, Js Nana said: I was just wishing the same thing - BRING BACK TARA! BRING BACK TARA! BRING BACK TARA! Or… and hear me out here… we don’t bring back Tara? There’s plenty of boring, pointless characters on the canvas. What if we send Harrison to live with her? Summer, Kyle and Claire could all eat shit, which, for me, is a win-win-win. Maybe reveal that Theo is actually the father and bring him back long enough to share petroleum saturation tips with Nick. But, yeah, Summer was a real asshole this episode. However, having Claire and Kyle sit in a cozy cafe blandly talking about how their love will defy all the haters, followed by Claire and Kyle exchanging a chaste kiss over the table isn’t really selling a grand love story. I’m pretty sure Kyle’s lips disappeared and with his… minimalist chin, that kiss looked weird, man. So, basically all Victor did was find out stuff that any good private investigator could uncover. Now Michael will have to dig for the dirty details. That Victor is a force to be reckoned with. Damien is too intense, I think. Like he’s always got the intensity cranked up to 11 for every situation. He may be right that Amy could have kept the paternity stuff to herself. Both fathers are dead and his remaining family boils down to Natey Nate Nate. (Kidding, kind of. I sorta like Nate, especially half-dressed). Maybe Damien can teach Devon to kick his dour, uptight prick game up a notch. Previews: I don’t recall ordering scenes of Chelsea and Adam dining in the grim faux raunch, not generating enough spark to power a single watt light. Looks like someone realized the best way to torment Sharon and Phyllis was to make them endure each other’s company. 3 4 2 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8588094

I was close with his mother and flew out to see him. One of my brothers never believed it, always thought he was faking. For the rest of us, though, we couldn't imagine anyone making up something like that, especially since we had several family members who were facing similar circumstances in real life. When he finally had to fess up,turned out he'd gotten in deep with gambling, spent the mortgage, stolen money intended for to help with his illness, etc. Most people cut him off after that, but not all of us, not even his wife who he essentially made homeless. We went the forgiveness route until he tried to pull the same crap again. As far as I know, he's still doing just fine, at least medically. Don't hurt yourself, my guy. 😉 I'm getting kind of tired of listening to Chelsea and Adam analyzing the benefits and drawbacks of her living in the old ranch house with him and Connor. What else is there to say? IMO they need to discuss redecorating that mausoleum. Audra: Nate, there's something you should know about Holden and me. Nate: you lent him your lip balm? Audra: no. Nate: he borrowed your Fenmores card? Audra: no. Nate: well, how bad could it be? Audra: we sorta used to be lovers. Nate: sorta? Get out, you dirty skank! Kyle and Tucker: welcome to the club, Nate. Dang, did Audra have an encounter with Diddy back in L.A.? How does a meeting with a music producer escalate into something you have to be rescued from? I think I want to hear Holden's version of the story. Maybe the attempted assault of Audra was a setup. (Which I hope Tucker wasn't aware of.) Summer, you should know better than to challenge Mariah. She hasn't historically called you "Snowflake" for no reason. Ease up and concentrate on your shared goal of finding your mommies. I took the day off because I’m letting Connor run my work schedule too. This is the year I get my Best Boss Ever mug from the peons, I just know it. Adam: That scamp. Can I interest you in some dreadful banter so cliche and pathetic that it wouldn’t make the cut in a Hallmark movie? Chelsea: I had my heart set on unnamed comedy, but you and our son insisted on generic sports movie. Adam: A hilarious and relatable slice of life convo, topped off by the edgy humor of pretending to have allergies when the movie makes us cry. Hey, remember when we watched The Outsiders? Talk about a deep, meaningful couples thing. Chelsea: What’s bothering you? Adam: I need to be honest with you, which sounds better than launching right into the same whiny declarations of love that piss you off. Chelsea: Wonderful. If we can teach our son one thing that will serve him well in life, it’s that relentlessly browbeating someone with your emotional needs should be rewarded. Let’s take a trip down memory lane, but I think we should pretend like there’s an invisible audience who we’re trying to bore into a coma. Adam: We couldn’t have a real audience because the burning fire of our passion would send them running for aloe. *********** Asshole Summer is back with a vengeance. Joimiaroxeu February 26 Share February 26 Hah, waking up in a dungeon must be like déjà vu all over again for Sharon. Good grief, Sharon. You can't keep blaming the PCP whenever something bad happens to you! Looked like Phyllis had a chance to get highlights and a blowout before she was snatched. Or maybe the kidnapper did it. 🙄 Phyllis and Sharon said they had vividly strange dreams the night they were taken. Those effects could've been caused by something as simple as a high dose of melatonin vs. some kind of illicit narcotic. Phyllis, there's a saying: let she who is without sin cast the first stone. I'll wait while you let that sink in. Meanwhile, remember the time you went after Sharon's husband and got pregnant by him? Yeah, you can shut all the way up with blaming Sharon for everything. My early guess: the disembodied voice belongs to Daniel or Nick. Or maybe they're working together to end the Sharon and Phyllis feud once and for all. 4 1 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8591070

NinjaPenguins February 26 Share February 26 You guys make fun of Sharon’s correspondence course fueled therapy career, but I think she proved the haters wrong with her on point diagnosis of borderline personality disorder and narcissism for Phyllis. Okay, I admit, that one is kind of a gimme. Who can be locked in a room next by our mystery kidnapper? Jack and Victor? Adam and Billy? Mariah and Summer? Nick and an algebra textbook? Btw, whoever thought that loudspeaker noise was a good idea can get royally fucked. 3 1 1 1 1 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8591182

Are you referring to the corpse that burnt up in the ambulance fire that was supposed to be her? Or when she and Kevin rolled dead Dr. Tim up in his own rug and dumped his remains? Or, perhaps when she left her friend Sasha to die in a house fire? And Sharon is the crazy one who ruins people's lives. Uh huh. 2 hours ago, NinjaPenguins said: Who can be locked in a room next by our mystery kidnapper? Jack and Victor? Adam and Billy? Mariah and Summer? Nick and an algebra textbook? Except they are all clowns. ScoobieDoobs Wednesday at 06:38 PM Share Wednesday at 06:38 PM Are there 2 couples more boring than Chelsea & Adam and Lils & Damian? Sheesh, no! Man, these are 2 couples lacking heat of any sort and without a drop of ANY sense of humor. An ep devoted to this dull bunch? Watching paint dry would be more fun & interesting. So Vic is now wearing black sweatshirts? So what’s next for that ace new wardrobe team? Daniel & Vic in ripped Simpsons t-shirts? Nikki’s hair & makeup looked especially awful today. Tell the crazy makeup peeps to tone it the heck down for daytime! 1 4 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8591640
Joimiaroxeu Wednesday at 10:37 PM Share Wednesday at 10:37 PM CBS has changed its closed captioning protocol. The CC mostly no longer shows a character's name before their lines of dialogue. Hmm. How late in the evening was this dinner with Lily and Damian? The GCAC dining room was practically empty except for the staff. Chelsea was shocked Adam had cooked. Me too. I figured the old ranch house shared Nikki and Victor's live-in chef, and therefore the kitchen was off-limits. Show is trying way hard to justify Victor budging in on the Winters' storyline, particularly the part involving Lily. They even had Victor saying "bygones" about his issues with Nate. What's that all about? Michael said the mysterious Aristotle Dumas (😑) lives in D.C. Maybe he's a crossover from the new soap which takes place in the DMV area. Sure. Damian was working Lily like it was his paying job. Who picks mashed potatoes off someone else's plate? The guy with whom Lily shares no DNA, apparently. Nikki was dressed nice today, I thought. Her chignon was kinda iffy though. Was it supposed to be a high pony? OMG, Nikki and Victor, let Lily live her life! Seems to me the writers don't realize how patronizing and condescending Niktor's attitude toward Lily can come across. They are not a replacement for Dru and Neil. Whee! The way to a woman's lips is though her stomach, right Adam? 🤔 I can't believe Chelsea kissed him when she knows Adam's dying to take things a lot further. 4 1 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8591880

One Tough Cookie Thursday at 12:06 AM Share Thursday at 12:06 AM (edited) Seriously, I slept thru most of it, especially anything doing with Adam and Chelsea. I think I'm developing carpal tunnel syndrome. I don't think Audra would have that fab bod of hers tatt'd. But I was curious also. Waldo13 Thursday at 12:15 AM Share Thursday at 12:15 AM Although I find Adam and Chelsea 🤢🤮 it’s not as bad as Billy👃 and Chelsea 🤢🤢🤮 or Billy👃and Sally 🤢🤢🤢🤮. Damian seems to be a frontman for a reclusive billionaire. Maybe Damian is a younger version of Ashland Locke who stole the identity of a dead friend. Men like Victor have to work. For slowing down or retirement, men like Victor rather be dead. Unlike his half brother Natey Nate Nate, Damian’s smugness is a lot more tolerable. In fact he seems also to be a lot more charming. @Boes, you forgot Jeremy Stark. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8591972

ScoobieDoobs Thursday at 12:40 AM Share Thursday at 12:40 AM Well, the guys who don’t have much in the looks dept. (sorry to state the obvi, Damian) . . . I guess they gotta make up for it with charm & sense of humor to attract the hot ones, right? I’m not seeing much charm or any sense of humor to make up for Damian’s lack of pretty looks & height. Although he does dress nicely & that is something. But despite Lily playing it cool & cold, she def looked intrigued by Damian. Maybe that’s cuz she only seems to be drawn to a-holes, dickheads & all-around louses, who are guaranteed to treat her like absolute sh*t. So maybe in this way, Damian will fit her requirements in a man & his looks are irrelevant to her. But it’d be nicer for us to look at someone prettier. Just sayin’. 3 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8591997

Sake614 Thursday at 01:57 AM Share Thursday at 01:57 AM I literally FFed thru half the show because it was Adam and Chelsea. Less than zero interest in them. unlike some others, I found myself enjoying Damian and Lily. She clearly wa having none of his attempts to charm but was trying to see things from his perspective, while at the same time, urging him to make amends with his mother. She related to his ‘your father wasn’t your father’ situation because it was similar to her own. But she didn’t just let him off the hook. And it seems to have paid off because he invited Amy to dinner. I’m still on the fence about Amy but if she is dying, i certainly can’t fault her for wanting to reunite with her son. Victor and Niki, OTOH, can FOAD about wanting to help and protect Lily. If either of them really gave a damn about her, they wouldn’t have pulled that shit with Chancelor. 4 2 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/468/#findComment-8592335
