What could be ironic is the fact that Victor won’t be the one who breaks up Claire/Eve and Kyle but it will be Summer❄️x6😾😾. Well Kyle, Victor didn’t give us much grief when we started to date. Yes Summer❄️x6😾😾, that was a different time as Kyle said and way before the latest incident with Jack and Nikki.

Whenever I hear Summer❄️x6😾😾 being condescending, being 😾😾😾, and calling Harrison my son, I still hoping beyond hope that Tara returns and knocks the snot out of that snotty passive aggressive bitch. 

The best part of the week is that Manic Phyllis🕷️ is missing.

I actually had a friend many years ago who faked cancer. She didn’t scam anyone out of money but she had all her friends and even family believing she was sick. Faked chemo appointments, faked being sick from chemo. Even kept it from her husband. It went on for months before she finally confessed that it was a lie. I never did learn why she did it.

Or… and hear me out here… we don’t bring back Tara? There’s plenty of boring, pointless characters on the canvas. What if we send Harrison to live with her? Summer, Kyle and Claire could all eat shit, which, for me, is a win-win-win. Maybe reveal that Theo is actually the father and bring him back long enough to share petroleum saturation tips with Nick. But, yeah, Summer was a real asshole this episode. However, having Claire and Kyle sit in a cozy cafe blandly talking about how their love will defy all the haters, followed by Claire and Kyle exchanging a chaste kiss over the table isn’t really selling a grand love story. I’m pretty sure Kyle’s lips disappeared and with his… minimalist chin, that kiss looked weird, man.

So, basically all Victor did was find out stuff that any good private investigator could uncover. Now Michael will have to dig for the dirty details. That Victor is a force to be reckoned with.

Damien is too intense, I think. Like he’s always got the intensity cranked up to 11 for every situation. He may be right that Amy could have kept the paternity stuff to herself. Both fathers are dead and his remaining family boils down to Natey Nate Nate. (Kidding, kind of. I sorta like Nate, especially half-dressed). Maybe Damien can teach Devon to kick his dour, uptight prick game up a notch.

Previews: I don’t recall ordering scenes of Chelsea and Adam dining in the grim faux raunch, not generating enough spark to power a single watt light. Looks like someone realized the best way to torment Sharon and Phyllis was to make them endure each other’s company.

Yeah Diane, rose scented powder is just what we women want to put on our faces--mine would get blotchy, my eyes would water and my nose will run. Fabulous idea--70 years too late. 

A decade or so ago Lauren (Tracey Bregman) had a bad Botox reaction and wore her hair plastered down over half her face for about 3 months until her droopy eye recovered.  That may have persuaded her to have only minimal work done by the best professionals.

I had the son of a cousin pull that.  Most of our large extended family believed it, even though in retrospect, he wasn't covering his tracks very well.  I was close with his mother and flew out to see him. One of my brothers never believed it, always thought he was faking. For the rest of us, though, we couldn't imagine anyone making up something like that, especially since we had several family members who were facing similar circumstances in real life.

When he finally had to fess up,turned out he'd gotten in deep with gambling, spent the mortgage, stolen money intended for to help with his illness, etc.  Most people cut him off after that, but not all of us, not even his wife who he essentially made homeless.  We went the forgiveness route until he tried to pull the same crap again.  As far as I know, he's still doing just fine, at least medically.  Irredeemable.

So watched a few minutes of the new soap.  The most noticeable thing about it is the brightness of the sets.  Y&R sets are so dark & dowdy, whether it’s the Newman mausoleum or the Abbott mausoleum or Society or Sharon’s coffee joint or Vic’s office or Nikki’s tiny, cramped office.  Dowdy, dowdy, dowdy & trapped in the ‘80’s!  All the sets on the new show look very good.  Y&R should take notice!

Sharon looses a daughter because of her son but that doesn’t compare to Daniel’s and Lucy’s loss.  Sharon is 100% correct. PCP caused Sharon’s actions but Manic Phyllis🕷️ acts the way she does on her own volition.  Besides Manic Phyllis🕷️ uses tears as a weapon a hell of a lot more than Sharon.  

It looks like Sharon and Manic Phyllis🕷️ are playing GC’s version of Escape Room or should I say Hunger Games.  Now I’m thinking it’s not Ian behind this but someone who wants Sharon and Manic Phyllis🕷️to work together.  Who is that?  Your guess is a good as mine.  Nick🦍?

CBS has changed its closed captioning protocol. The CC mostly no longer shows a character's name before their lines of dialogue. Hmm.

How late in the evening was this dinner with Lily and Damian? The GCAC dining room was practically empty except for the staff.

Chelsea was shocked Adam had cooked. Me too. I figured the old ranch house shared Nikki and Victor's live-in chef, and therefore the kitchen was off-limits.

Show is trying way hard to justify Victor budging in on the Winters' storyline, particularly the part involving Lily. They even had Victor saying "bygones" about his issues with Nate. What's that all about?

OMG, Nikki and Victor, let Lily live her life! Seems to me the writers don't realize how patronizing and condescending Niktor's attitude toward Lily can come across. They are not a replacement for Dru and Neil.

Seriously, I slept thru most of it, especially anything doing with Adam and Chelsea.  I think I'm developing carpal tunnel syndrome.

I don't think Audra would have that fab bod of hers tatt'd. But I was curious also.

Although I find Adam and Chelsea 🤢🤮 it’s not as bad as Billy👃 and Chelsea 🤢🤢🤮 or Billy👃and Sally 🤢🤢🤢🤮. 

Damian seems to be a frontman for a reclusive billionaire. Maybe Damian is a younger version of Ashland Locke who stole the identity of a dead friend. 

Men like Victor have to work.  For slowing down or retirement, men like Victor rather be dead. 

Unlike his half brother Natey Nate Nate, Damian’s smugness is a lot more tolerable. In fact he seems also to be a lot more charming.

Well, the guys who don’t have much in the looks dept. (sorry to state the obvi, Damian) . . . I guess they gotta make up for it with charm & sense of humor to attract the hot ones, right?  I’m not seeing much charm or any sense of humor to make up for Damian’s lack of pretty looks & height.  Although he does dress nicely & that is something.

But despite Lily playing it cool & cold, she def looked intrigued by Damian.  Maybe that’s cuz she only seems to be drawn to a-holes, dickheads & all-around louses, who are guaranteed to treat her like absolute sh*t.  So maybe in this way, Damian will fit her requirements in a man & his looks are irrelevant to her.  But it’d be nicer for us to look at someone prettier.  Just sayin’.

I literally FFed thru half the show because it was Adam and Chelsea. Less than zero interest in them.

unlike some others, I found myself enjoying Damian and Lily. She clearly wa having none of his attempts to charm but was trying to see things from his perspective, while at the same time, urging him to make amends with his mother. She related to his ‘your father wasn’t your father’ situation because it was similar to her own. But she didn’t just let him off the hook. And it seems to have paid off because he invited Amy to dinner. I’m still on the fence about Amy but if she is dying, i certainly can’t fault her for wanting to reunite with her son.

Victor and Niki, OTOH, can FOAD about wanting to help and protect Lily. If either of them really gave a damn about her, they wouldn’t have pulled that shit with Chancelor.
