S12.E10: Living on the Edge

The problem I see with Nene is that she's not grateful for what she has.  She might never be anything but a Bravo-lebrity, but that's not a bad life.  I think she thought that she's be a serious actress, when she got the show in 2012, but that didn't happen, it doesn't happen for MANY actresses.  I think Nene is both addicted to fame, but doesn't want to be on the show, if that makes any sense.

I think Nene is supporting many generations of her family.  Though people don't like to admit to it there is a racial wealth gap in America; Kandi might have the same issues, which is why she doesn't rock the boat too much.  

So many times, I want to shake Nene and say, "you don't know how good you have it!"  

The woman needs to be grateful

 I think that what happened—and feel free to correct me—is that the contents of Nene’s card to Cynthia in which she expressed encouraging words about Cynthia’s business endeavor got leaked to a blog.  Cynthia said she didn’t do it.  Nene said she never talked to a blog in her life.  On WWHL, Andy pointed out that there was a whole crew there who could have gotten it, but my money is on someone from Nene’s camp...

The discussion between Nene, Eva and Michael last season regarded the rumors surrounding Eva, which were primarily that she was moving so much because she was broke, but I think Marlo was also calling her a lesbian.  Eva fled the scene as soon as she heard this—which is kind of at odds with her cool girl persona—and returned to the venue’s parking lot with Michael.  That’s when they would only talk to Nene if she took off her mic, which I guess she “forgot” to do.

Seriously.  Best I can figure is that Producers see how disliked she is on blogs and twitter and they keep her in the mix for hate-watching.  And when she was doing her "imitation" on the bus?  I thought she was doing Eva, not Porsha.  Eva can put some food AWAY.  Did you see the size of that seafood tower she ordered?!

Tanya--she is more than a little extra but I feel like she's genuinely nice so I can't help but like her.  

Y'all can call Porsha dumb if you want but she's clever when it counts.  You see her pivot away from the rumors when that Producer asked her about dog-gone?  

How am I going to pick a side in Nene v. Kenya?  I can't stand either.

Agree.  Not enough PJ or Brooklyn in this episode.  I love the babies......and, both seem to be enjoying motherhood.

In Canada, "chirpy" means mouthy, like someone is throwing insults or trying to start stuff.

I wasn’t looking at the screen when Kenya did her Tanya impression, and I thought it was Tanya — Kenya was spot-on! (And Tanya still annoys me, she and That Bitch can exit stage left, please and thank you, Bravo.)

First RHOBH, now RHOA. Next season on RHONY, I better see a fun scene of the cast doing impressions of each other. Porsha’s reactions to Yovanna’s impression of her was hilarious.

The cop/detective thing was a bit too contrived. And if I never see Kenya do that snake-tongue thing again, it’ll be too soon.

She didn't "forget." She was explicitly told not to un-mic by the Bravo team. You even hear her saying, "Eva's gonna kill me." If that's truly your friend, you could've refused to stay mic'd.

Eh, it's one thing when you know you are being recorded. For instance last year with Eva when NeNe recorded her after specifically being asked not to. Everything around NeNe is dirty.

I think Nene mugs all the time and pulls faces is because she’s been meme-d and reaction giffed so much that she thinks that’s a component of her charm or relevance.
