Carol continues to annoy with her over enthusiasm. And I liked Daniel much better this time around. I liked Nurse Dennis pointing out at the end what Carol would do when she had seven or ten patients she did have a good point. Carol did too about the elderly being ignored. I do like seeing Carol so excited after several years of Frankie Heck always tired. As much as I liked Frankie I do kind of wish she had more of that energy. What was the diagnosis? She was taking meds that she didn’t tell the doctors about that she got from going to Urgent Care and not having a regular doctor. Carol found the pill container in her purse. Pepper the Cat October 5, 2019 Share October 5, 2019 This show needs better medical advisors. 1. Heparin does not come in pill form. Carol’s daughter is identifying the pills and points to one and say Heparin. Heparin is an injection, not a pill. 2. While it is possible that the patient got multiple meds from multiple docs, most people just deal with just one pharmacy so I am sure a pharmacist would have picked up on drug interactions, 3. Abdominal CT scans require patient to be fasting for a certain number of hours. There is the contrast you have to drink, which usually has to be an hour or so before they do the test. Speaking of ERs, why was the old lady in a room and not the ER (we haven't been told the interns are working in Emergency, have we)? Pretty much. Patricia Heaton is the star and protagonist of the show.
