I've enjoyed all the "shut up Meghan"s on these threads. Cracked me up that half the time she tried to talk someone told her to be quiet so someone else could be heard. Shut up Meghan, indeed!

I'm probably alone in feeling sorry for Briana, but she twice mentioned that her mom called her a fucking bitch. It seemed like she was still hurting about that and wanted an apology or something. It's normal for mothers and daughters to get into it, but I can't imagine any decent mother calling her daughter a fucking bitch.

It got confusing with some of the talking over each other. Did Tamara say the first season she met Vicki that Vicki told her she was thinking of leaving Donn for a lover with pancreatic cancer, which would be Brooks? It sounded like she said that. Tamara started the show in season 2, right?

Interesting post. I'm pretty sure that when the Brooks / Ryan tape first came out Briana said one of the reasons she was so upset was that she had been a victim of abuse. Makes you wonder if she was a child at the time and Vicki let the abuser into her life. To be honest I don't need to know the details as it is unfortunate and disturbing, but it does prove that Vicki does not put her children first no matter how often she says it. Lying liar who lies.

I agree. It shocked me that Shannon said they used to have two dates a year. Your spouse is supposed to be your partner and best friend, and that can't happen if they aren't around. Say what you will about the Dubrows, but they seem to make a conscious effort to connect with each other despite how busy things get for them.

I'm OK with anyone but Candice or Kelly winning because they are such tools. I would like to see them mature into better people before they get some success because once that happens they'll really, really be in love with themselves and think others just don't matter. I thought Kelly's collection was so cheap she should be ashamed. I'm with Heidi, where did the money go? Ashley's I would've liked more in brighter colors. Cracked me up that Tim told her to add jewel tones so she adds eggplant. WTF?! I didn't think Edmond's was as bad as the judges did. Not my style, but I did see it as somewhat cohesive in that I could see the same girl wearing them (like Nicole Richie or SJP, they have a broad style spectrum). Candice's looked so heavy and overwrought. I think she did the best job with fit and tailoring, but it has been said of other contestants do you want a designer or a tailor?

Regarding the Annabelle and Julie BS, I thought Julie said that she did notice something was off but didn't know what she could have done. So Julie takes it personally and give A space, and A sulks because Julie isn't all over her asking how she feels since it's the anniversary of McQueen's passing. Communication really isn't that hard, unless you are on a reality show.

Another thing that bothered me about Caroline F was her whining about privacy and living her life without being judged, but she goes on an international TV show to share that she and her much younger BF use coconut oil as lube everywhere, inside and out. Bitch, please!

Given both Vicki and Donn had long-term affairs during their marriage it has been speculated that they did have an open marriage. Plus, in one of her blogs Vicki said: "I do not condone infidelity, I DO condone and support monogomacy in a relationship unless there is a mutual understanding otherwise." That last bit about a "mutual understanding otherwise" makes me think she and Donn did have an open marriage, but hypocrite Vicki wouldn't admit to the truth because she was all over Gretchen about cheating on Jeff. And, monogomacy is the exact word she used because she is so edukated.

I'm only half way thru the episode and the Carolines and Sophie are so awful they are actually making me like the horrible Juliet by default. This is f*cked up. I don't think I can watch this anymore.

What are you reading into Vicki's claim that she is afraid of Brooks? It seemed out of left field when Andy asked it so I think I'm missing something.

I liked Caroline F the first time she was on, but since she's been so fake and arrogant I can't stand her. I also thought getting that angry about the cougar stuff was stupid. I actually liked the Michael and Tito scenes. A nice silly break from the ladies bickering. I, too, love the London scenery so more of that please!

For those of you in CA, is there anything in the local biz journals about how Coto is doing? I would think all this talk of Vicki's lies and things being "hinky" would make people not want to trust their hard earned $$ to Vicki's biz.

If Vicki is on next season I just can't watch anymore. She's in on the lie and its disgusting.

I can't stand Sophie. Please get her off my screen. Caroline F comes across as the most shallow and superficial one, yet she thinks she has the most depth. This could get interesting.

I believe Vicki is the one who makes it an issue because, as others pointed out, Vicki acted like she accepted Briana's decision not to have a relationship with Brooks to get Bri to move into her house, but then after Bri moved in Vicki kept trying to get Bri to change her mind. Early on in the relationship Vicki was the one who kept going on about how she brought it up and couldn't get Bri to change her mind. And, then Vicki tries to get others to bet Bri to change her mind. Vicki doesn't listen to or respect other peoples opinions, she just keeps harping on to get her way. If Vicki didn't talk about it Bri might not either. Hopefully Vicki, Bri and Brooks are gone for good and we'll never know. Does anyone else remember this: At one of the earlier reunions where Vicki and Bri were really going at it over Brooks it kept escalating until Bri says something like "I know what he's done to you". Like there was something really nasty he did and my first thought was some type of abuse, but it could be that he cheated on Vicki or stole from her. And Vicki, who shrieks over everyone in a fight stopped stone cold and just looked at Bri. It was like she couldn't reply because it was true. I may not be remembering it correctly, but I was always under the impression that Bri didn't like Brooks at first because it started as an affair, but it crossed over into anger because of something Brooks did to Vicki. Regarding all the questions about doesn't Shannon have gloves? I'm sure she does. When I pick up the dog poop with gloves I still double wash my hands after.

Regarding Tori's $800K inheritence, my recollection of the "facts" around the time of his passing is that Tori publicly implied or directly accused her mother of having an affair and not being devoted to Aaron as his health started to fail. Candy said Tori was a bad daughter and hadn't bothered to see her dad in a long time, maybe 2 years. The brother, Randy, got more $$ than Tori, but still not a lot. Randy sided with his mother during her feud with Tori. I don't remember when Tori married Dean, but I do recall that they had a destination wedding with just the two of them, no family. I think Tori and Candy started to mend fences after Tori had her first son because they both said how much he looked like Aaron. I think it was months afterwards because I remember Tori taking a dig at Candy at some point about her not seeing her only grandchild and Candy responded that she sent many gifts, but hadn't been invited to see the grandbaby. Clearly I was reading too much People and US back then ;)

I don't like Danish Caroline either. Something seems very off about her. At her party it seemed like she thought she could get away with bad behavior because she is "royalty". Juliet is rude about food served, but Danish Car is much ruder to serve food really late and then tell everyone they have to leave even though they aren't done eating. I like to watch the other Caroline. She's awful and I'd never want to meet her IRL, but she can't help herself from needling others. I don't think it comes from a place of viciousness like many other Howives. She seems like the kind of idiot who if you say "don't touch X" will touch X every single time you turn your back. No self control with her. Regarding team Marissa or Juliet, I'm totally team Marissa. I can tolerate Marissa, but Juliet is insufferable. She's one of those girls who is shitty to everyone else and then complains to their mom "nobody likes me, everyone is so mean". Well, stop being a shit, Juliet.

I would like to know who she styles as I can't believe she is honestly employed to dress people. She looks bad to really awful all the time. And her hair is a hot mess. It's like a 6 yr old spends an hour on it or something because you can tell effort went into it, but it is bad from all angles.

Granimal, I agree with your entire post but especially this. Shannon said something to the effect that he was going to make this birthday special, but he didn't. Whether it was laziness or meanness who knows. She said she felt like an idiot for believing him about making it a special day. She is an idiot and I feel sorry for her that she is just now figuring it out. Neither one of them can be consistently nice to each other. That is the bare minimum for a friendship, much less a marriage. One of them needs to be an adult and separate or end the marriage.

Vicki and Donn both had multiple affairs. I don't know if they had a truly "open" marriage, but they seemed to have an understanding that a few side dalliances were to be expected. At one point when Vicki and Tamra were on the outs during a reunion Tamra started to out Vicki's multiple affairs and Vicki shut her down hard and fast. I remember being annoyed with Vicki at the time because Donn was honest about it and Vicki acted all holier than thou and lied about it. To each their own, but quit being a lying liar who lies. I did give Vicki props this episode hearing from Shannon that she told Vicki some things in confidence and they stayed in confidence. Good for Vicki! I didn't know she had it in her. Hopefully when things hit the Brooks fake cancer rough patch Vicki doesn't get so nasty she uses that info for evil.
