I can usually only watch the 7:00 half hour, so they may have mentioned it later, but I cannot believe they did the news this morning without even mentioning the passing of Maya Angelou. Apparently Brad Pitt getting smacked by some whack job was more important.

Sorry - late to the party, but I think the thing in the King's Hawaiian rolls commercial with the neighbor parking out front is so that he will be in range to suck one of the rolls out through the window and into his mouth!!

How is it that I have never seen Scooter the Neutered Cat before? What a great ad!! I also love the commercial for some sort of fuel efficient car, a Honda maybe, where the two guys are driving across country learning Spanish from a CD. By the time they have to stop for gas, they are arguing fluently in Spanish with each other.

I enjoyed the waterskiing segment this morning with Jenna Wolfe and her biggest fan - it looked like they had really enjoyed meeting each other and that they had an awesome time.

Another great episode that jerked a tear or two from my eyes! Was no one else grossed out when Sister Evangelina was scrubbing the dog poop off her shoe in the kitchen sink?? Rooting for Trixie and the cute priest to get together!

The main reason I watch (and like) this show is that Tarek and Christina don't fight, or curse at each other but treat each other with mutual respect.

Well they all seem genuinely glad Daphne is back! She is looking wonderful, and the baby is absolutely beautiful. Her hubby is plenty easy on the eyes too ;)

And MARGARINE!! Seriously that stuff is gross and terrible for you. Don't mess up a perfectly nutritious egg with it!

That is my dream also, Ohwell! I think some have come mighty close a time or two. It just seems so disrespectful of the producers or whoever is in charge, to rush very talented professionals so that they can get to the latest inane youtube video or whatever.

I guess I am in the minority but I absolutely love the opening credits and the theme song. I thought they both perfectly captured the human spirit of adventure and discovery. I too hated how political the story lines became and would have loved to have seen more of the history of how things that were common in the later series were discovered/invented.

Thought this might be better than an episode thread. Just watched the second episode of the second season, where Tarek and Christina spent $13,000 on a wrought iron door. First of all, I was amazed that a door could even COST $13,000, then I couldn't believe they did it, but at the last I could see how it really helped sell that home. I like that they can be bold at times. But I also would like to see a big old gigantic FLOP!
