  1. Jersey girl here. Totally saw Roger at Jenks last night. He's huge in person.
  2. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed last night's episode! Though the chardonnay I was drinking may have played a role in that haha. I died at Jenni and Nicole demonstrating to their daughters how to catwalk and cracked up at Pauly's (was it Pauly or Vinnie? I think it was Pauly) statement about Jenni's hair being nice and subtle so as not to detract attention from the bride. Who knew Pauly was so into the rules for a wedding? Jenni and Nicole's daughters are adorable and I thought it was a nice way for Mike to nodd to the women even though he couldn't really make them a part of his wedding party (stupid outdated gender rules). I'm nervous about Jen showing up and hope she doesn't ruin the day for Mike and Lauren. Mike really has had the biggest personality makeover of anyone that I've ever seen on reality TV. When they were showing the flashbacks it reminded me of what a douche canoe he used to be! Sober Mike for the win!
  3. I once found myself on a date with someone whom I was way out of their league education wise, physically and professionally. He was shocked that I didn't want to go out with him again. I was talking to my friend about it after the fact and was saying that if I suddenly found myself on a date with Paul Rudd I would be super psyched, but would be aware that he may not be so psyched. Her response? Men don't think that way. I've since learned that this is often (though not always) the case. This is why I can believe that Ceaser earnestly believes that she is genuinely interested in him. Sigh. I am completely torn between feeling sorry for him and wondering how he could be *so* deluded. If he has a child and is wasting all of his money on this woman, however? Then I have no sympathy at all.
  4. And this was the only time I've liked Kai at all. I laughed at his genuine, why is Nour yelling at Jasmine and not me, confusion. As a society we are making strides in this area, but there is still clearly a lot of work to be done. Had Nour been yelling at Kai I would have still thought she had no right to be mad, but would have understood her emotional reaction to what happened. Yelling at Jasmine? Nope. Don't get it at all. I really liked Nour initially and have gradually liked her less and less as this season has gone on. She is currently one of my least favorites. When she feels threatened by somone her knee jerk reaction is to insult their appearance, which is incredibly immature. I think she has a lot of growing up to do.
  5. My friend and I speculate that she had surgery, specially on her ass. I don't think it looks good at all. She also should get some clothing and bathing suits that flatter her figure.
  6. It's not. I work in Secaucus and have actually frequented Lorenzo's for happy hour after work many times. It's a bar/resturant, not a diner, and there's no way anyone got mugged there. Ever.
  7. I'm sorry, can someone please explain this insult to me? Glazed donuts are delicious!
  8. Oh I am watching! I am here for this. When the wussy guy from big brother (Mark?) ran I to the waves I *died*. I also lived Audrey thinking that wussy guy's ex was the server. In the previews it looks like they're trying to say that Devin and Marie from the challenge are exes but I'm pretty sure they never dated. Marie is hilarious so I'm excited for her to come on. I think she's going to add a lot to this show because her talking heads are always gold. I'm only familiar with the mtv reality folks because I love are you the one and the challenge. So excited!
  9. I cannot believe that Vinnie got rid of Maria. I had her pegged as the winner. I no long care who wins (let's be real, I barely cared before).
  10. He absolutely called her a little bastard in her presence. It was when Chelsea had knee surgery and he was “helping” Chelsea with Aubree in the hospital by grabbing her and calling her a little bastard. She was a toddler at the time. He called her a mistake in the text message when Aubree was a newborn. I get that Aubree wouldn’t know about it if it wasn’t on tv, but wouldn’t it be nice if he never called her names in the first place?
  11. Yeah he just called Aubree a little bastard. Both in her absence and in her presence. Way better.
  12. Karamo from the Philadelphia season was on the daily show promoting his new book. He had a lot of interesting things to say about his upbringing and how it affected his romantic relationships. The episode is available on demand.
  13. http://www.theashleysrealityroundup.com/2019/03/14/exclusive-luke-cuccurullo-says-he-does-not-regret-appearing-on-married-at-first-sight-despite-the-hate-hes-getting-from-fans/
  14. Actually, despite Paulie completely lying to Cara and cheating on her for the entire relationship, which he also did to his other girlfriend, he and Cara are very much together and Paulie has moved to Montana to be with her. Keep on fervently telling both us and yourself how oh so happy you are Cara, and how well Paulie treats you 🙄🙄🙄
  15. CPS worker here. There would definitely be a worker safety note in their file here in jersey and there is no way I'd go there without a buddy and police escort.
  16. I ate at Butterfunk Kitchen, Chris Scott's resturant, in Brooklyn this weekend. The fried chicken and biscuits were delicious, and the collard greens, something I don't normally like, were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend! My only complaint was that the service was pretty slow.
  17. I think the main difference is that Cheyenne's comments were made 7 years ago and she has expressed regret for saying them. David Eason was given an opportunity from mtv to apologize for his hateful comments but he refused, which is what led to him being fired.
  18. Weighing in on the whole dating app thing, I'm a single 37 year old who has been on all of them. Back in the day, match.com and eharmony sent an astounding amount of emails. Current dating apps send zero. My last boyfriend and I met on an app and deleted it from our phones after meeting. About six months later a friend was asking about how we met and expressed interest in the app, so my then boyfriend re downloaded his. Low and behold, both of our profiles were listed as active despite the fact that we had deleted them and had not been on there in six months. We figured out we had to manually deactivate them, which neither of us had realized. Now, that being said, neither of us got arrested for stalking and then claimed it was mistaken identity, so there's that. Mia is definitely shady and I wouldn't put it past her to be on a dating app looking for her next victim, but it is possible for a young, tech savvy person to not realize that simply deleting the app won't cut it.
  19. Omg mine too! I was so worried! Haha
  20. Why do you think I know so much about the jersey shore people? Don't let the handle fool you I am totally Jersey and proud of it! Never fist pumped or poofed my hair a day in my life though because many of us do not fit that stereotype haha. I had no idea that redneck could be a Florida stereotype which completely threw me off with this show.
  21. Actually, Sammy was the only one from jersey. The rest were from Staten island, the bronx, Rhode island, etc. Snooki, arguably the most famous person from that show, was not Italian. I think she was Peruvian, though she identified as Italian because she was adopted by an italian family. This show is doing exactly what jersey shore did, which is take a bunch of entertaining young fame whores who fit a particular stereotype and place them in a location that is known for said stereotype.
  22. If I'm remembering correctly, Mike was kicked off of are you the one for domestic violence issues. The girl he liked, whose name I forget, goaded him for a long time until he lost it and chucked her across the room. I'm wondering if he got a lot of backlash from that, leading him to just leave the real world as opposed to staying and defending himself. He kept saying that they are going to portray him however they want so he's just going to leave and not give them any more footage to manipulate.
  23. I love this show! I just started watching it from the beginning for the first time since it's original run. I will say this: High def tv is not James Lafferty's friend! His skin is terrible. I never noticed during the show's original run, probably because I watched it on a twenty pound television with a VHS player attached to it :)
  24. I am beyond thrilled right now! How stupid would it be to throw in Jay and Jenna? Finally Sarah plays in a way that is beneficial to her, rather than one of the men that she wants to like her, and hooray for Jordan for respecting her decision. I'm sure she'll be berated in future, because on this show when a man makes a smart strategical decision it's respected, but when a woman does she's being a "dumb bitch". Good for her! As much as I've hated Jordan in the past, I now hope they win it all.
  25. I was *dying* for Leroy and Nia to send Wes and Teresa in...they are a bigger threat overall, in my opinion, because they work together so well. If Zach and Jonna made it to the final they would self destruct due to Zach suffering from a cramp that he would inevitably blame on Jonna...because of course it's her fault...because she's a woman. Duh.
