I feel like the one-day challenges are unfair to both the designers and the viewers. We get too many poorly conceived garments and shoddy workmanship.

I was hoping that the show was leading up to Jon and Dany riding north together on Drogon so that she could see the army of the dead for herself. It would have been a great scene and also would have helped to advance their relationship. I imagine they'll ride Drogon together before the series ends. As for which one is the true heir, the only thing that matters is who the dragons are loyal to. Whoever has the dragons has the Iron Throne if that is what they want. The most obvious ending would be for Jon and Dany to marry so that the dragons don't have to choose, but somehow I see someone else entirely on the Iron Throne.

Could "Winter is Coming" specifically affect the North? There are lands to the South that are desert lands and the southern part of the 7 kingdoms would not be as cold as those in the north and may still have a growing season. I don't remember being told how long the winter will last or how the past winter affected all the kingdoms. We know it's almost always below freezing at the wall now. A major drop in temperature would make the wall unlivable. The severity of winter should vary depending on how far north a kingdom is, unless it's more than just a seasonal change and is something supernatural, perhaps linked to the Night King coming south of the wall. It has occurred to me that if the Night King is defeated, the impending winter might also be defeated.

Just had to chime in about Kinder eggs. The chocolate is just a substance to get through til you can get the toy, which is enclosed in a plastic egg. The toys are ridiculously amazing. Some are simple, but some are models to be put together with 20+ tiny, precise pieces . I think you can legally buy the unassembled toys without the chocolate, but I haven't read the reguation, so ?. I do know there are sources where you can buy fairly large quantities of the chocolateless eggs.

Not sure if it still exists, but I once gave a year's subscription to a "Potato of the Month" club as a wedding present. The couple who already had enough household stuff loved it and joked about it for years. And I guess they got a monthly bag of different heirloom type potatoes . There is just something inherently amusing about potatoes and they have a great shelf life, no refrigeration needed. The potato guys will make a quick bunch of money for a few months and can move on. Not sure why they picked a shark. All they needed was exposure. The business has a shelf life shorter than th potatoes .

Can't help but compare this to The Bachelor, where they go as far as picking out wedding rings before the final choice is revealed. That show has a way of making the choice appear to be somewhat meaningful, even when it probably isn't . This finale seemed kinda "meh" and the stakes seemed pretty low. They are going to date? Picking Eric totally came out of left field. Zero chemistry there. My grassy knoll theory is that what happened was totally producer-driven and what emotion we saw from Robert was due to some semblance of integrity regarding how fake the ending was. I think they wanted Eric to win, partly because of his HIV status and because they want Brandon to be next season's prince. Robert was bland, but improved as the season went on. Eric was just plain bland, almost painfully so. And did I mention absolutely no chemistry? On the other hand, Robert and Brandon seemed inevitable and connected. When Robert told him he'd never let him down it felt like an honest moment. I hope there is follow-up beyond the reunion show as I seem to actually care about what really went on. I'm practically writing a novel here, but I feel a show like this is culturally significant. I'm a senior cis-gendered woman, and while I've known plenty of gay men, I don't see their private moments and have wondered how different the interactions would be. Looks like not so different at all. The show, even as staged and edited as it was, was a bit of a window to view and relate to actual courtship and intimacy not normally shown on mainstream TV. (Bravo is the exception.) The men were real, not characters in a story. By the end, the groups love and support for each other seemed genuine and for the most part it was a positive, enriching experience for each man. We've come such a long way towards acceptance in my lifetime, but there are still too many who are fine with the idea of same sex partners but are uncomfortable with the accompanying emotional and physical manifestations. The more people see these things, the more open they will be. I get why people may not give a shit about being accepted or "approved of" by straight people, but I see it as making a gay kid's life safer and easier, not to just have self-acceptance, but community acceptance as well. Both Bravo and Logo, and shows like this one, are really helping to fight intolerance and increase understanding . Can't wait for next season and hope Brandon is the next Prince C.!

I am confused now that the podcast affirmed that Stacey mistook the sound of the newspapers for the sound of gunshots. The show was very specific about her saying the ones the night before were three shots in quick succession and the ones that night were at 2:13. Neither of those facts would fit with newspapers being thrown. Weren't the papers delivered near the end of Mike's shift? Two in the morning seems too early. Details the show gives us usually are meaningful, so I don't know what to think about the podcast. And if two digits of the last four of the firm's number were changed and all kept in the same order, those old people would reach me!

The actor playing the head biker was so familiar to me, but I can't place him. It's driving me crazy. Anyone recognize him?

PhD Purgatory15, thanks so much for your contestant breakdown. I can never remember their names and you helped me to picture each one of them in incredibly succinct, accurate descriptions. Bravo! I know I'll be looking at your list for reference again and again. Don't stop now, there are many more to come!

I think the really good singers walk a fine line in the auditions. They don't just want to be put through, they want to be interesting enough to be showcased and be memorable. Daniel Farmer did that and now just needs to rehab his image in Hollywood. I hope he can because he was crazy talented and probably (fingers crossed) not as obnoxious as the persona he adopted suggests.

After Cowell, there has not been a judge whose opinion really mattered all that much, to both the viewers and the contestants. You never really knew if he would like something or not. Love him or hate him, he added an element of suspense. I am not sure the power he had as a judge was any thing that could be easily duplicated. Even he wasn't able to transfer that to whatever that other singing competition show he did was called. I also tuned in to see how the individual contestants would handle theme week. Perhaps it was unfair to the singers, but it brought drama and added an interesting element to the competition. I think so many country types changed the show in ways that were not necessarily positive. A spin-off "American Idol, Country-Style, might have been a better way to go. I would have watched that too had they done it abut the time McCreary came along. A missed opportunity for Fox.

Does anyone think Kanye would have gotten that ticket as a regular auditioner (younger of course)? I think rappers have gone through before, but his performance seemed flat and, without the underlying knowledge of his stardom and body of work, nothing special. Or maybe it's just me?

Jeneve Rose may be living "off the grid", but on the show and in the back story she was dressed and styled like a Sundance catalog model. Extremely expensive clothing and accessories meant to have a cool Western/ Rocky Mountain state vibe. Those were some pricey boots she was wearing.

I am so glad I perservered with this show. It keeps getting better every week. They made it a point to show through Kevin's reaction that Nora's donation was more than they could afford. I felt that a large donation was, in her mind, necessary to affirm her desire that the search was not futile and that the girls were still within reach. I think they used the same paypal process to mirror her transaction with Holy Wayne. She really didn't believe he could help her but she wanted it to be true. She also gave him a large sum of money and it was questionably effective. I was surprised when Kevin claimed to have first seen Patti after Lily came to them. I remember at least one scene from the first season where she came to him when he was locked up, well before they found Lily. That leads me to believe that the writers are bending history somewhat to make Lily integral to what is happening to Kevin and that she will be a key to the present storyline. I am also guessing Tom is on his way to Miracle with Laurie to come soon after.

I don't think Lu was going to bust Heather for anything sexual. Maybe Lu smelled weed and when Heather invited her to go ahead and out her, Lu realized how silly she would sound. As for Carole, I felt that Anthony and his family's refusal to give up was at the heart of her book. They had the means to get the best doctors and Ted K was able to get him treated at the NIH in D.C. He went through surgery after surgery, but all the money and power ultimately meant little. At the beginning of the cancer, Carole looked up the prognosis and it was five years at best. And in the end that is how long he lived. As I read her book it was evident how carefully she had to negotiate around the family and their refusal to acknowledge that Anthony was dying even at the bitter end. She was there for every surgery and debilitating treatment. I don't remember her ever saying it, but I felt she just wanted to admit he was dying so they could say goodbye to each other. I think Carole regrets that she was not strong enough to have a real and ending with Anthony. I have some how learned to hate the word "closure", but that is what they both needed and did not get. If anyone hasn't read What Remains it is a worthwhile book to read. It brings home the point that death truly is the great equalizer and that some cancers just don't care how powerful your family is or how much money you have.

Unless David is either crazy, maliciously vindictive or wanted to wound the marriage beyond healing, he would not have told Shannon he had sex with his mistress right after having birthday sex with her. Even if Shannon wanted every last detail. Even if Shannon had a gun to his head. There are just some details you leave out. Shannon knew the mistress, was even "friends" with her. I can't imagine there not being some kind of heated confrontation. I remember a shaken Shannon driving to Heather's to confront her about merely gossiping about her marriage. This is the kind of nasty shit I can imagine a mistress throwing in a wife's face when attacked. There must have been a few scenes between the mistress and Shannon where a number of pretty ugly things were said on both sides. With all the information Shannon has about the affair, I don't think she can ever forgive David. I don't think most women could under the same circumstances.

I am going to guess that production filmed the partying in the club and at the house but the Scots refused to sign a release. Shows only blur out faces of incidental people who make a stink about appearing on camera, not the faces of people who become a part of the storyline. If the guys were tourists, that is an expensive resort area and Bravo would likely take any threats to sue seriously. Sooo...there may have been a lot of tension if Bravo was pressuring them to sign releases given they had spent the evening filming. Maybe they tried to get releases at the club and when they refused, production didn't want them in the car because they could have at least filmed the drunken girls returning home. Either the Scots told them they would not sign because they were married or production assumed that was the reason. I think production was angry about losing an evening of filming so they told Kris the guy was married and wanted her to say that on film. In the end, they got plenty of drama without any earlier footage. I also have to wonder if Ramona's guy was also married. Also what the wife or wives were doing. It would be a little odd for a married guy to vacation in T and C with another guy and not his wife. Whatever happened, unless there was some big Scottish convention, the wife will figure it out because how many Scotsmen could be vacationing there at any particular time? I also remember someone mentioning that the guys were over forty. Surprisingly age-appropriate.

I seem to remember that in the books more was made about Smeaton being aware that there was talk of him being a sodomite and that was why he bragged about a relationship with Anne. Thomas could reconcile the other men's deaths because they were guilty in his eyes of mocking Wolsey, but he had remorse about Seaton to the point of wondering if he should have taken him under his wing and into his home like Wrisley and other young men. I loved this series but it could have been at least two episodes longer. And the lighting was absolutely superb.

Allegedly there was a blood draw at the station and it was tested. US Weekly seems a little more credible than many of the gossip sites. You cannot be charged with possession of drugs found in your system, but you can be charged with public intoxication.

US Weekly is reporting that official court documents say that Kim was under the influence of alcohol, an unspecified controlled substance, and toulene, a solvent used in paint thinner, nail polish, etc. Huffing was not anything I envisioned, but given her behavior I suppose it makes sense.

In my state battery on a police officer is a felony, but I guess it's just a misdemeanor in CA, although the bail seems more in line with bail for a felony. Those charges against Kim should give the court a minimum of a year's jurisdiction. I can see her entering a plea to a lesser offense and being placed on supervised probation with a number of conditions. She may be required to go to either inpatient or outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. She may be ordered to submit to random drug and alcohol testing. If she is not in compliance she can be jailed for the remainder of her sentence. So even if Kim is in denial and not ready for treatment, this arrest takes things out of her hands and will impose consequences if she doesn't follow the conditions set for her. Even at arraignment, before it is even determined whether she committed the crimes she has been charged with, she will have to comply with conditions of release which are fairly standard: don't leave the jurisdiction without permission of the court, no drugs or alcohol and in the case of tresspassing, do not return to where you were accused of tresspassing. Further special conditions can be set. If she violates any of the conditions, her bail could be revoked and she would have to await trial in custody. I have a difficult time picturing Kim doing well on probation for a number of obvious reasons. She may actually spend some time in the county jail if she violates the conditions of her probation. So, ready or not, Kim is probably going into treatment at least one more time. Sadly, it is difficult to picture her being successful.

Could the writers be moving toward having a romance of sorts between Pod and Brienne? They are both fan favorites with very little left to do in the plot. Anything between Brienne and Jaime is hopeless, but I think the audience would like to see something to bring her some happiness. Something about how they are portraying the relationship seems to make it a possibility they could go the way of the romance novel and bring them together. Or maybe I just have too much of an imagination.

Maura appears to be doing great. She is the most grounded of all the family members. She was there for them her whole life, ignoring her identity for them, and they are all being such selfish, using jerks in one way or the other. I think this will have to be about their transformation, not Maura's. She already knows what's important and what's not. I love her!
