  1. Well, just watched the rest of the episode. I want to know WTF LVP was doing to the dog in the previews to make it yelp like that! Poor baby. Well now we know why Jager referred to a couple of the Howives as bad guys. Dorito said the same phrase when she said she didn't want to be the bad guy in the Dorito/Teddi late-gate scene. Dorito really is stupid though, when she claims to two different people that the first text Teddi sent her was the one at 4:35ish asking if she was OK, and not the one at 4:06 saying she has arrived. For a grifter, I would expect Dorito to be a little better at lying than she is. Especially when we have it all on video. Someone mentioned upthread about Dorito hooking up with PK because he was rich. But when she met PK, wasn't he trying to file for bankruptcy, claiming that he was $10-50 million dollars in debt (in 2012) and that his ex wife was paying for everything as he had no money? But now if you google either him or Dorito they claim on some sites to be worth $230 million or so. Maybe in monopoly money. I just googled Ken Todd and lawsuit, and got a few hits regards suits against him, and against Lisa. As others have implied here, it appears to be a common thing. With regards to the lawsuit LisaR was referring to, it seems a bit fishy as far as LVP and Ken's assertions. They asked for this charity to provide dogs for a fundraiser that Lisa was doing, (which is where Ken apparently got angry when they refused) but they relented, and then Lisa kept all the money raised, saying there was no agreement to give the charity any of the money. Then why ask them to provide dogs? Seems pretty underhanded and petty to me.
  2. Since the link you provided was from October of 2017, it appears that these scenes may not have even been filmed this season? Maybe last? I think filming starts June-ish, so find it hard to believe that Dorito would be giving a show just a few months later, unless she just made one of each suit in the show. In any case, the first picture of the model in the one piece? Yikes! The top of the suit is way too big for her frame. The rest looks like a redux of her previous line with the ties on the bottoms of the bikinis, etc. I don't get the draw to design swimsuits because there is rarely a suit that looks fresh and new. Maybe that is the point - just stick your name on a line and tell yourself you have done something original. Or even needed. Lol.
  3. OK, I have only watched the first twelve minutes of this episode and had to stop and post. First of all, if Dorito is going to show a video of her last line she needs to show one where the bottoms of the bikinis are not both sagging and giving wedgies to the models. Other than they are poorly fitting, her designs are no different that the gazillion other swimwear lines already out there. I am confused by Dorito saying that she is aiming for the 2017 season. We just had a wack of birthdays from this crew, including Dorito's which is in July. So she is at the stage of sketching designs, and wants to launch her collection in 2017, which is already half way over? WTF???? And why does she need two co-creative directors and a manager? Who pays for all these assistants, nannies, and "co-creators" and manager of the non existent swimwear line? Bravo can't pay that well, and PK shows no signs of having a real business. Finally, wasn't Dorito filming the scenes with the co-creators (one of who appeared to keep stifling yawns - I know I was) and manager when she was supposed to be meeting Teddi? It seemed obvious that she was not on a phone call at all, but trying to make it sound like she had a legit reason to be late, rather than she is so dim and vacuous that she has no concept of time, hers or other peoples. No wonder she needs so many nannies to take care of her spawn.
  4. I wonder how this show is doing in the ratings? Two hour shows are ridiculous, so many things are being repeated, espeically in the THs. Add the fact that all of these scenes are over a year old and it is all just one big yawn. I ff past many scenes so can't comment on a lot of what happened in the episode. One thing I did not have a problem with was Meri saying that she was not going to go into the other wives' houses and take care of their kids. The kids can come to her house for visits and activities, but the days when they looked after each other's kids because the kids were all young and there weren't older kids to help out is long over. Good on you, Meri. Robin continues to pop out children, and who knows when Kadouche will want to bring in another broodmare wife. True, it isn't the other wives' fault that Meri only had one kid. It also isn't Meri's, and no one has had to look after her one kid for years. I hope Meri does open the B&B and spend as much time away from LV as possible. Kadouche has no interest in her, her daughter is an adult and the other wives can get along just fine without her. In fact at this point she seems to be the only one interested in making money outside of the show. The rest are content to ride that gravy train until it derails.
  5. I haven't had a chance to listen to the podcasts, but did go on Dateline's FB page to read comments there. There was a link to someone named Kathy Monkman HIgham's blog about the case. Debra herself actually makes some comments, and claims to be a victim of John. However many feel that Debra liked the attention and drama of life with John. Apparently (and I think this is on the podcasts?) she had a restraining order against John among other things, and still travelled to Las Vegas alone to meet him, even though he had threatened the lives of her children and her nephew. The comments on the FB page are quite interesting, and it seems like one does need to listen to the podcasts to get a clear picture of Debra, and what she continued to do with regards to John even after being shown clear evidence of his lies and the danger he was to her family.
  6. After reading the Dirty John article from the LA Times I am even more annoyed at how stupid Debra was. As the writer of the article stated, not only were there red flags, there was a (friggin' - my word) parade! Right from the first night when they got into a fight because he would not leave her apartment (bed actually), and phoned her the next day saying he just wanted to spend every minute with her. Seriously? To moving in together after 5 weeks to a place she put a year's rent down on, to marrying in less that two months from their first meeting. But the thing that got me the most was the selfie pic posted in the article. I would assume John sent it to Debra at the same time she sent hers, which was the first pic she sent him. He told her he owned two homes, but in the pic he is in it seems obvious to me he is living in a small drab space. Mismatched couches including one which appears to have a sheet on it (using it for a bed?) a fridge on the left hand side, cheap shelves holding miscellaneous stuff including kitchen knives, and he is obviously taking the pic looking at a mirror so that is the size of the space. Personally, that would be my first clue. Whether someone stole his stuff or not, they did not steal his home, and that appeared to be it. I was surprised to find out that Debra has 4 kids. I feel sorry for them as it is hard to know if Debra really did learn a lesson or not.
  7. Love your post, Movingtargetgal. My condolences on the loss of your kitty. Our oldest was 18 when she passed as well, but it doesn't matter at what age or how long ago, I still miss them all. Our kitties have the run of the house as well, with our blessing. I even have various signs around the house to make it clear for anyone visiting who might not know. (Though all our friends already do). One says "If you don't like cat hair, stay off of the couch". Another says "We had to get rid of the kids, the cat was allergic", and a third that says "Pets welcome, children must be on a leash". Lol. We had the same problem over Christmas, taking the dog we were caring for out in -10C weather which is colder than our normal temps. And several times a day as his routine was a bit disrupted so I didn't want him to have to wait to go if he needed to. It wasn't until he was gone that it warmed up to around 0 where I would not have minded going for a walk - lol. I think for the most part, animal lovers love all animals but have a special bond with one or two species over the others. LVP's is dogs and horses (as is a good friend of mine's), others are cat people as we are, and several of my friends are. I can't imagine (and wouldn't want to) my life without them.
  8. I totally thought that when they were only showing one daughter, that Debra's other daughter was murdered. I was so relieved to find that Dirty John was the one who bit the dust. And as the attack was being described I kept thinking "Is the dog OK, is the dog OK!". I haven't read any articles on this case or listened to the podcast, but boy did Debra bug me. I know there are gullible women and con men (and vice versa) but geeze louise how can anyone ignore SO many signs? I have never understood why women aren't suspicious that men can so easily move into their homes. John said that he had to borrow her car because his was stolen? (Apparently every thing was stolen too except his scrubs? Lol). Did they steal his house as well? How did a doctor, let alone an anesthesiologist, not have a home already? Then all the lies, and isolating her from her family. The real head shaker was buying a place near Las Vegas so John could live there away from her family. Why didn't he buy his own place, Debra? Was he now working in LV? Honestly, I am so sick of supposedly smart women acting so dumb where men are concerned. How sad that her two daughters were the ones with the common sense, and it almost cost one her life.
  9. I don't have a problem with LVP concentrating on dog rescue. I love all animals, but the charity I volunteer with takes care of hundreds of abandoned domestic rabbits (and yes, all are neutered) and cats. I love both dogs and cats, but prefer cats. Only because I love their independence, that they don't need to be walked several times a day, fed at certain times, and bathed and groomed constantly. My kitties bath/groom themselves, never smell, use their litter boxes and eat when they want. My (LOL) semi feral cat (again, LOL) is at the moment lying on my desk in front of me gently pawing my hand (no claws out) to pet him. He sleeps with me, and when I am on the couch watching TV sleeps with his head on my leg. My other two kitties are equally affectionate. We looked after our friend's standard poodle for two weeks over Christmas and as much as we love him, I was happy when the two weeks were up. As I always say - I don't have a dog for the same reason I never had children. They are too much work. Lol. I totally agree with this, both with people who have fake breasts and real ones. And it isn't just this show, it is almost the norm these days. I have always had large breasts for my size/frame, but I would never be caught dead with them falling out of whatever I am wearing. It isn't that hard. I thought Oprah looked terrible at the Golden Globes as despite having lost weight and wearing a lovely gown, her globes were squashed and pouring out of the top of her dress. Sheesh.
  10. I agree with your assessment, but not the last line. Like others have posted here, I have a deep love for animals. All animals. And have had since I was a small child - as long as I can remember. So it has nothing to do with compensating for relationships with people. I just prefer animals to most people, and again, always have. Many animal lovers are the same. Not all - my hubby is both an animal person and a people person. I think deep down LVP is not a people person (but can be when required) and really doesn't care what people think of her, which is why she can be snarky and mean. In fact I think she has stated that she likes animals much more than people.
  11. My thoughts on the scene at the airport is that Bravo camera(s) were following LisaR, Erika and the kids. So they attracted people who were curious as to who was being followed by cameras, assuming it must be someone important. I don't think those taking camera video/pics had a clue who any of them were. Lol.
  12. I think the poster was referring to the actual jewelry website where one could purchase the products. It does not appear to exist.
  13. I am not sure what you mean by this? The article is regarding the new collection/collaboration which was the photo shoot that was shown on this epi. Which has nothing to do with the Evine collection. But the previous collection is the only thing that comes up if you google LVP and jewelry. It is the current collection that Pandora claims has a cult following. Lol. I guess Todd does not have the name recognition that would get her foot in certain doors. Kind of like the Hamlin kids?
  14. That is too funny. How in the world does one access the website? Is this a new collaboration for LVP with her friend, this year? I see it is labelled a 2017 collection but do not see previous years, just other collections LVP has apparently designed. The text of the article is equally funny. I guess since it is written by LVP's daughter it isn't surprising that some of it is OTT. I rolled my eyes at the claim that the jewelry is "attracting a cult following". Hyperbole, I would imagine. Or maybe you have to be a part of the cult to actually view the jewelry? I will pass, thanks.
  15. It is hilarious that LVP was talking about how nice Dorito's breasts are, and then in the only picture in the magazine where they are showing they are droopy and flat as pancakes. Do you suppose LVP was getting back at Dorito for all the complaining she was doing? Crop her face and print the worst possible picture of her breasts? I was distracted from the jewelry by what a terrible picture it was. Lol.
  16. I really liked Teddy and her husband this episode. I wish though that after Bravo showing the clip of Dorito telling Teddy at the Fancy Feast dinner than LisaR has schizophrenia (after PK said it first previously) that rather than Teddy saying in her TH that Dorito had two sides, she had said instead that Dorito had schizophrenia. Dorito needs to see how easy that can be thrown around. However Dorito was definitely on something stronger that booze IMO at Kyle's dinner. I enjoyed every minute of it though as it made Dorito look as classless as I have always felt she is. As someone else said, when PK is the one trying to shut Dorito up, there is a problem. Maybe Dorito's house of cards is about to collapse. I think she and PK have been living beyond their means for quite awhile, and maybe it is about to catch up to them. Someone has already reported that they do not actually own the house they live in (just have an interest in it), and I am sure other things will come out. Also, where is Boy George these days? Did he and PK part ways? I laughed through the whole modelling session - what a joke. When the woman associated with the magazine said she wanted Dorito because she is a working mom I almost choked on the sip of water I had just taken. Lets see, what job does she have other than RHOBH? And her nannies look after her kids. Her sole job these days seems to be becoming as obnoxious as possible. Good job, Dorito.
  17. I loved the scenes with the "Other Big Three". My husband has a big, close, extended family and those of us who have married into it call ourselves the Out Laws. I would love to see more scenes with OBT. I especially loved Toby asking questions of Miguel and Beth, and Miguel talking about being the guy who married his best friend's wife. I hope they explore that further down the road. I thought it was very telling when Rebecca talked to the therapist about how hard it was for the twins to lose their dad at 17. Jack wasn't there when Randall's kids were born. Jack won't be there when Kate gets married. Poor Kevin didn't even make the list, even though obviously Jack wasn't there when he got married, or when he became a successful actor. I thought the therapy scenes were well done, but was also glad that the three sibs had the conversation at the end.
  18. I read many of these comments before actually watching the show, so skipped by many of the scenes with Mykelti and Tony. I am still gobsmacked that these scenes were filmed at least 14 months ago or more, and are just being shown now. I watched the segments regarding Meri and the B&B as I find it quite interesting. I wanted to buy my grandmother's house several years ago. It is where my great grandmother lived, my mom and her siblings were born, and where my grandmother lived from the time she married in her mid 20s to her death at age 101. We didn't buy it and now the village where it is has become so expensive that it has doubled in price and there is no sane way it would be a good investment. So good on Meri for pursuing her dream of bringing the house back into her family. I wanted to slap Mariah in her scenes - she is such an unlikable person. I laughed out loud when Kody worried that a B&B would not be a good business investment. Did he worry about that with the stupid Sister Wives Closet fiasco? I also laughed when he talked about Meri not having a business plan. I believe he went to investors asking for money for SWC with no business plan. Why was everyone concerned about Meri being 3 hours away? (By everyone I mostly mean Kody). Or 3 hours and 15 minutes. Or 20 minutes. Lol. Because her big house would be sitting empty? What does she have to keep her in LV? I don't think even her downer of a daughter lives there anymore, and why should she devote any more time to taking care of other SW's children? Run Meri, run.
  19. Tha nap idea was to me a solution in search of a problem. I at times did nap on my lunch hour at work - I just went to my car and cat napped there for 20 minutes. Why would I waste time (if I am tired enough to need a nap) walking or driving to someplace to nap there? On top of the fact that, as others have mentioned, not wanting to use a pillow and blanket that someone else has used that day, I didn't like the very close quarters and curtains separating me from other nappers. Why would I want to nap beside a complete stranger? That alone would keep me from falling asleep. What if the person beside me starts to snore? The whole idea was just ridiculous. I did disagree with Robert's assertion that he would not hire someone who napped during the day. What someone does on their lunch hour (or half hour - whatever) is none of his business. Some people can nap and some can't. For me a 15 minute nap totally refreshes me and I am much more productive for the rest of the day. I can't believe Cuban made a deal with the bag lady. He seemed quite flattered by her attention. While I doubt the deal will go through, if it does he deserves her. Liked the fry guy, but was wondering if the cone is keeping in all the splatter, when you put your hand in to, for example turn over the bacon, would you not get splattered with hot grease? Other than that, I liked the idea.
  20. Random thoughts: Loved Seth. Didn't think Amy Poehler's bit was funny at all. I had no idea that I, Tonya was a comedy. (I am assuming it isn't a musical). Will have to see it. Favourite dresses were Allison Janney and SJP. With so much black, I was much more intrigued by the women who did not wear black. There were a few - one in red and one in baby blue - had no idea who they were though. In Reece's introduction for Oprah, she said that she learned from Oprah what it was like to be the only woman board member at a huge company. So all I could think of was what huge company this was. Was it Oprah's? If so why was she the only woman board member? What other board would she be on, and why wouldn't she raise a stink that she was the only female? I am thrilled that Three Billboards won best dramatic film, screenplay, supporting actor and lead actress. I absolutely loved this film, and adore Frances McDormand. Though there was not a bad performance in the movie. And because my mind kept wandering, I wondered if this was the first time (even though it has been many years) that Angelina Jolie was in the same room with the former fiance of her second husband, and the former wife of her third husband. And did they thank Angelina for taking them off their hands.
  21. Geez, I had such a busy Christmas that I missed Luann's arrest, and Kyle's buglary. How awful for Kyle. I have a safe in the floor of my closet that is bolted to the floor and covered up - even then I worry about being burglarized only because there are pieces I have inherited, and pretty much all of my jewelry has sentimental value. For Kyle, if it is an inside job that makes it even more heartbreaking. I hope she is able to recover some, though it seems unlikely. Did the robbery of Kim K ever get solved?
  22. I wrote that before I read that she never changed her name from De Lesseps to Tom's surname when she married Tom. So it is still her legal name, apparently. Though I don't think she can use the name Countess regardless since she did remarry, no matter how briefly.
  23. I am so late to the party. I didn't know anything about Luann's arrest until I read it in People magazine today. Surprised, not surprised. A few pages back I read that the count is disgusted with Luann's behaviour and wants her to drop his name. Which has me wondering, how would the count go about forcing Luann to stop using his name? I get that she went back to it because it is her children's name, but more importantly she wanted to hold on to the countess moniker even though she gave it up to marry TomCat. (I don't think if her previous husband was Joe Blow she would have returned to the surname of Blow). So I presume there is a way he can force her to give up his name, and go back to her maiden name? At least until she finds her next husband. Mario Singer's referral of Luann as Countless seems apt. Though Classless is more appropriate. I wonder if Luann will be singing "Money Can't Buy You Class" in her upcoming (maybe) act? Edited to add - I posted before I read page 34 where Luann's use of her previous married name was discussed. Interesting that she never changed her surname to Tom's, though she did use it. (I get that the marriage was so short there likely wasn't time to change everything, but am surprised she didn't at least change some things). She has to really have been kicking herself over the last half year that she did give up her right to use Countess, even if she still does use De Lesseps.
  24. Not to mention that there were 6 bags on the floor, and some of them had white paper which appeared to be packed around dishes. Not boxed dishes. Lol. The bill shown by Bravo did not even appear to relate to the two page receipt that Dorito was holding. Someone previously posted that she bought 20 place settings, though there is no evidence of that. Certainly not enough bags for 20 place settings. These grifters really should be better at their job by now.
  25. This is very interesting. I remember when Dorito and PK first joined the show, they were in a couple of different magazines and the house was definitely described as a rental. That makes perfect sense, since last season would have been filmed in spring/summer of 2016, airing December 2016 to April 2017. So PK's partner (or someone) bought the house near or after filming of season 7 concluded, in September of 2016. He then (for some strange reason) spent a few months renovating, thereby necessitating Dorito and PK to move to Florida while it was being carried out. Seems like the (actual) owner may have bought it to flip since he is asking almost double what he paid 15 months ago. In any case Dorito and PK return to the house for filming of this season, where Dorito talks about all the renovations "they" did to the house. I guess in future episodes we can hear how "they"have decided to put the place up for sale, where in reality the house is pretty much owned by someone else. Not a surprise. I wonder if the real owner also bought the china - lol.
