Wasn’t the engagement ring a solitaire heart shape diamond? In other words wears the design come in. I got married for the second time in 1978 and we looked together for weeks and just about gave up when I spotted mine. The wedding ring slides into engagement ring. ( it was/ is unusual and almost looks like a cocktail ring.) After inheriting a larger diamond it made my ring turn and separate so I had them “soldered ” together in the back. so it looks like hers one ring. Her style has been around for awhile there’s a name for it I can’t remember what is. It encases the engagement ring.and keeps it from turning. I missed that Chris designed it . I’m sure he worked with a jeweler when he got the heart shape solitary diamond that showed him( up sold) what could be done in the wedding ring. Kinda like Matt’s chair he designed. Hopefully she does like it , I would under the circumference , even though she has little fingers. This is the ring he probably was describing as his design. I recently started wearing mine again because I love it. Agree about the rings in the bouquet much more palatable than brides hand laid over the grooms.

I was not comparing the venues or dresses at all if you notice. I brought it up because they were/ are exact age when they married for a second time with a big white wedding ,same amount of people. Babs had much more exposed of her 56 year old body. Once again because everyone was slamming Amy being her age having a big second wedding and a white dress as ridiculous. Page after page…so it’s ok for others to be 56 and have a second big ass wedding and 15 foot veils ? . I remember at the time and Barbra was acting like a 20 year old first time bride and we all know how controlling she is having to have everything perfect . 2 rehearsals . All of the children got married on the farm with their bridesmaids dresses out of old bed sheets and the very original Bell jar table arrangements , men in brown shoes and suspenders. Over the years I’ve read posters when talking about weddings having a sheet cake with bridesmaids wearing what they want and their weddings were perfect. Chris has no relatives because he’s in witness protection. Amys wedding ring surrounding her engagement ring is so pretty.

Many many years ago I told my first husband when I divorced him that I was going back to my maiden name and he had a fit. I wound up thinking it would make things easier for kids if I kept their name. Too bad Barbra Streisand at age 56 didn’t get the memo regarding lavish over the top second weddings with cleavage exposed, no sleeves , 15 foot veil, thousands of flowers in July with 4 flower girls and grandchildren of Jim’s . I hope Chris is able to embrace the controlling wife like Barbra’s husband has. If Amy-and Cris they are acting that happiness they deserve Emmys.

Matt was making noises like maybe it was time for him to move and put the farm behind him . Caryn wouldn’t shut up that she didn’t want Amy impeding with their relationship and their life . Bottom line she didn’t want to have to drive by Amy’s big house on her way to the double wide, or be reminded she screwed the boss. She’s earning her TLC money puffing up his ego non stop. They deserve each other. I came across several pictures of their 25 anniversary celebration and he said 25 years ago I married an amazing woman. Amy looked pretty with her hair in a French twist. Black simple dress so it wasn’t the event at the farm where she wore her wedding dress and he wore a rappers outfit and did a rap about it. I get these darn notices in last couple of days saying Matt Roloff off and Caryn Chandler move up in their relationship and it basically says they’ve moved in with each other in Arizona but will keep separate homes while in Oregon. Think we knew that. . Big deal. Then today It’s Mat builds Amy’s wedding chapel and there a video of him riding around on his whatever showing the garage ( because chapels need garages huh?) and bragging about the wood he cut. I don’t follow these people on Twitter or Instagram or watch their videos so have no idea why I get these notices. I would not walk across the street to see them or the farm and there’s a billion places I’d rather go.

Sunday I went to a central coast town that’s well known tourist destination and several stores were selling painted rocks. They were in same size range and painted in colorful dots. I didn’t look at the price, because they are rocks. I did get fine examples of green fluorite for the grandsons.
