Sorta made me nervous when she said the sale of the house fell through. We are closing on the sale of ours on Tuesday.

I seem to recall an early episode in which kody claimed Robin was “ too pretty to cook.” Barf!!

In the last episode, there was a scene with Meri, and it looked like Robyn had reddish hair. Or else I need new glasses 🤓

I sat there with my mouth agape when she said she had got a lot done. What, what did she get done? I am sorta with kody in that I think this may have been an idiotic purchase. Did she pay cash for it? A lot of people were buying motor homes and various types of trailers during the pandemic, and she said this was the last of the model she wanted. At first I thought maybe they just bought it for a storyline, but it doesn’t seem to get developed just like CP. also I was appalled that she planned to get it back on the property in April while Savannah was still in school . I get that she likes being outdoors and even camping, but these seems purposeless. Also she has the additional expense of storing her stuff from the rental. Please help me make sense of this.

I have the show on as background noise. They were showing a flashback from an earlier season where Kody says Flagstaff is where the older children will return. He is delusional. That is so illogical especially as about half of the originals never lived in Flagstaff. Leon only lived in LV for a few years before going to college which I think was in Utah. Logan was on his own in LV before the move to AZ. Aspyn, Maddie, and Mykelti married and moved away during the “sojourn” in LV, and Christine’s children both ended up in Utah. Paedon is now also in Utah, while Hunter is in Baltimore. I think Leon is also back in Utah. So 6 of the 13 are gone; it seems most of them are gravitating to Utah. he just called her the pied piper, but in this case the children preceded the piper.

She looks at least as old as the other women. And I am sure the older original children see her more as a stepmom than as a sister mom. I think a person like Robin would always be trouble, but she was added much too late to the family. Adding #4 should have been about a year after Christine. What held everyone together was the original 13 kids, but it was probably going to fall apart anyway when they aged out and started their own lives.

They did. It was very interesting in that Meri’s brother was going to become LDS while Janelle was leaving LDS for polygamy, and that was part or all of the reason for the divorce I lost my copy when we moved. I also recall being shocked that Meri’s mom was such a staunch supporter of polygamy and possibly of being first wife. I think Meri drank deeply from her mother’s cool aid. How Bonnie would have reacted if the Catfish had been a real man and meri actually left Kody. I don’t think she would have been best pleased over it.

There was something Kody said on one of these episodes about the wives not getting along which made me realize how he set up this plural marriage to fail by creating jealousy with each successive “marriage.” first, he marries Janelle who was Meri’s former SIL. The original date is set for MERI’s birthday. Whose idiot idea was that. Someone had to talk them out of it and they moved the date over by one day. I have no proof but I think Meri’s mom may have encouraged this as she had liked Janelle as her DIL when she was married to Meri’s brother. So this is a set up for stress especially with Janelle’s anniversary over shadowing her bday and for Janelle with her anniversary overshadowed by Meri ‘s bday, and it makes going out of town to celebrate either event tricky. Then he brings in Christine about the time Logan is born taking away from his support for Janelle. And he brings in Robyn while Christine is pregnant with Truly. also I am waiting for Robyn to claim that the show was only possible because Kody added wife 4.

She does have two older sisters who probably talk about their classmates and proms and dating.

Kody is also upset that Christine is leaving, and he still cannot get rid of Meri. I don’t think Meri cares that Christine is leaving except that may interfere with keeping the TLC money rolling in

Janelle is incompetent with getting the RV set up. Kody is annoyed with the RV and Janelle. Staying in the RV in winter is idiotic. These people are morons.

Hi!! I am here, but I was expecting it to be the finale, too.

I lived over 10 years in New Orleans and have a house in pensacola and this doesn’t resemble the shrimp and grits I know and love. I also like shrimp scampi over zucchini noodles. But I don’t think Janelle has ever lived near the coast so I give her a C+ for effort.

The Springs is about 70 miles from Denver, and takes about an hour on the interstate. Have driven it many times.

There was a split second years ago when that style of messy hair was popular. The trend might have lasted for a week or two at most.

Looks like he still is a student. Has he even been on the show since they moved to Flagstaff? Okay, he was probably in the moving scenes and I think Robin hosted a family dinner where he may have put in a cameo appearance.

I totally forgot about the name change! What was his original name? This woman is mental.

I just turned this on. Kody is driving to Oklahoma and says he usually would be traveling with a wife and that Robin was going to come but had to stay behind to take care of the children. Ok, that was a paraphrase, but I think I got the gist of it. What is with Robyn and Kody. Pay the nanny extra? Pay your older children to watch the littles? Is Ari that much of a handful? And Robyn makes this statement about people being envious of his ability to perform a wedding? These people are delusional.

I may have to check it out. Not a fan of Miss Not a Crystal Ball, but I find CP confusing as it seems to be both a neighborhood as well as a specific plot of land and the name of the road. didn’t there also used to be a married couple who did podcasts about this show?

I came here to ask what was the dill with the Robyn in hospital scene? I cannot recall what episode it was in and I only remember it as a teaser for what was coming. I know she and kody had covid. also I think production when they sent Robyn and Kody on that honeymoon to California after the “spiritual “ marriage and the one to Hawaii around the time of the legal one poked the family dynamic and contributed to the jealousy Christine and Meri felt.

At some point they lived in Wyoming and Meri worked for 3 years at a trophy shop. Not sure where Janelle worked then.
