  1. It's hard to say without knowing where the next thing after the scramble is.
  2. Aww, I was hoping we'd get the complete title segment for the last leg. I miss it.
  3. And of course there's the immortal "Santa Claus and His Old Lady" by Cheech and Chong.
  4. FJ was an instaguess -- I said Oliver!, but couldn't remember if it had won any awards at all. And I couldn't come up with another one-word title of a movie musical, so I stuck with it. Never would have thought of Gigi. The only TS I got were smallpox, latent, succulent, and ultimate.
  5. Not yet. They took the private jet to the airport/hangar where she got her makeover. ("Eyebrows! There should be two!")
  6. Catching up from Tuesday (I went to see The Boy and The Heron last night -- I do recommend if you like Studio Ghibli films) -- instaget FJ, and probably the biggest hint for me was the chapter number. I haven't read it either, but I know it's a slog. I also got the TS of taxonomy, rat & pig, Prince William, Krazy Glue, and McAuliffe.
  7. @Quilt Fairy, there has been confirmation from the Gardiner Brothers' Insta that it was them at the Riverdance challenge! Well spotted!
  8. Bradbury crossed my mind, but I thought that book was much later, like well into the 1950s later. Hooray for not knowing dates, I guess?
  9. I had to think a few seconds for FJ, but I got it in time. I haven't read him either, but I feel like I have -- cultural osmosis, I guess. I also got the TS of Bryan Adams, Antarctic Circle, desire, and Clint Eastwood.
  10. True. I should have been more specific. Either way, it did appear that they made their way on foot to the pitstop from the pub.
  11. It's funny -- Rob and Cory read "race to the pitstop," but Steve and AL read "make your way on foot to the pitstop." They didn't show what the other two teams read.
  12. Not really. The main room is kind of an odd shape. I think my current TV is maybe 20"? I'm not sure! But maybe if I have a slightly larger one, I'll be able to read the on-screen guide without squinting... It's just annoying. And now is simultaneously the best and worst time to have to shop for anything. Sales! Crowds!
  13. I just finished a book by Kell Woods, called "After the Forest." It mostly focuses on Hansel and Gretel as young adults, but also interweaves the story of Snow White and Rose Red with maybe a tinge of some other fairy tales. I enjoyed it quite a lot, and do recommend.
  14. I think I'm going to struggle finding a TV small enough for my house -- it's not quite 1000 sq ft. Everything seems to be made for much larger spaces! I know I struggled finding a sofa small enough without getting a loveseat or chofa.
  15. I think it was the highlight. The balls weren't yellow, or that large, when we saw them more closely (when people were passing them, etc.).
  16. My television has developed an ominous black fuzzy line along the right side of the screen. It doesn't quite reach the top and bottom, and looks like someone just took a small paintbrush and swiped a line along the edge. I'm assuming this means my TV is not much longer for this world, and I should start shopping soon.
  17. I just rewatched, and I saw big yellow circles/highlights on the balls.
  18. You and I aren't the only ones to believe that, @Quilt Fairy! Several people have commented on their Insta about seeing them. They haven't replied, and I haven't been able to find confirmation, though.
