And that, my friends, is why you ask for directions.
-
And did they also miss the first challenge?
-
Wait, did they miss the first challenge?
-
I'm sitting here at home, and I'm not sure I understand the flag challenge. I can't imagine trying to figure it out all hot and tired and stuff.
-
I love that.
-
Heh. "This one hurts my head. We're switching."
-
I, for one, and glad someone finally remembered that it's a race!
-
I wonder how many balloons are allowed to pop? It sounded like several did, but everyone got their clues anyway. Oooooh, I love the monarch costumes! You might be a Superfan, buddy, but you still should ask for directions instead of just going with your gut feelings.
-
Again, rule #1 of TAR -- READ THE DAMN CLUE!
-
Tough choice, but I think I'd pick balloons. I'd probably be too tired to pay enough attention to the paper things. Now after they get started, I might change my mind!
-
Aw, I miss the full version of the opening music.

Back to not getting FJ. I didn't even have a guess. I only got three TS -- ragtop, egopher, and Jonah Hill.
-
Hooray! I finally got an FJ correct! Boo! Yogesh won! And I even got the TS of tuff, Cumberland Gap, and sojournalist. I grew up quite close to Cumberland Gap, and have been there many many times. It's a lovely part of the world.

Maybe the mom will get lucky and the baby girl will identify as a boy. Let's go back to the days before people were able to find out the genitals of their babies before the babies are born. Let the genders of all the babies be a surprise!
-
Yet another no clue for FJ. Alas. And I got no TS, either. Yogesh almost won me over with the Galaxy Quest quote -- "Never give up, never surrender!" But then he lost me again with his abuse of the buzzer. So, Troy needs to win tomorrow night to even things up again, right?

I think it's hilarious. But I also liked "Flashdance" the movie from which the song comes. -
I am still exploring the natural world now! And I'm way more than 10. Blue has always been my favorite color -- I don't like pink at all. I really hate that genders have been assigned to colors. Don't get me started on gender reveal parties.

Especially not with the car running. They'd probably drive off. -

I always make sure my screen door is shut and locked. I once had a dog who could open the screen door. But the big door is standing open as I type. It's a lovely day, and I'm enjoying the fresh air. I will also leave the big door open if I'm going to the mailbox or just putzing around in the front yard, as it locks automatically and I prefer not to carry my keys while I'm doing yard work. My back door is a slider, and I have to use a key to lock it from the outside, so it stays unlocked if I'm out in the yard. It's usually locked while I'm inside, unless I'm going in and out a lot. (The same dog could open the slider, too.) And occasionally I'll forget to lock it at night. I'll get up in the morning and be surprised to find it unlocked. I do live in a small town, and I have a fenced back yard. There are much easier houses to break into. In warm weather, particularly warm nights, I'll sleep with my windows open to catch a breeze of fresh air. But they get closed when it gets too humid. -
0/5 this week. Maybe I'll do better next week....
-
Wow! Great game, even if I did not get FJ, giving me another perfect week of zero. But I got a TS! I knew those were extinct mussels!

I'm So Disappointed In You: Celebrity Missteps
Browncoat replied to OtterMommy's topic in Everything Else TV
I'm glad he apologized and owned it, but it's another one of those things that should never have happened in the first place. There are signs and warnings and even guard rails everywhere to prevent that sort of idiocy. It wasn't a mistake. You don't accidentally climb over a barrier. But as I said, I am sad that he didn't have the respect in the first place not to leave the boardwalk.- 1.3k replies

I also said ruckus, so I say it would have been accepted!
