I thought Phil said upstream? Did I mis-hear?
-
Shari probably would have been faster.
-
Akbar, you are such a whiner!
-
The boys seriously made up some time, didn't they?
-
Akbar's doing it! Wow!
-
This looks familiar. Have they done a task like this before?
-
Oh, right. Well, that worked out well.
-
I don't know why the boys chose the cheese-making in the first place.
-
I would be really hesitant to crawl around under any mule. Penn, Penn, Penn. It is NOT a horse!
-
There's still time for a speed bump.
-
"I don't know how to use a thermometer." Really? How hard is it? That should have been the episode title!
-
Natalia, honey, you've had a third chance, not just a second chance.
-
Blessed are the cheesemakers.

The Amazing Plane! Looks very comfy.

I actually got FJ tonight! It wasn't an instaget, but I got it! I also got the TS of Bondi Beach, Blazer, weak and weary, and Golden Gate. Harrison definitely needed a BMS.

"Heeeeeeeeere's Johnny!"

Probably not, unless you live in Cuba. If you are east of the Mississippi River, your hummingbirds are almost certainly Ruby-Throated, though we do get the occasional stray from the west. Same! Bonus points if it has both Tony Shalhoub and Stanley Tucci.

I didn't get FJ tonight, either. This is shaping up to be a bad week for me! I did, however, get the TS of Steel Magnolias, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, and bee. One of them guessed bumblebee, and was ruled incorrect. I think that threw the rest of them off.
-
I also said Virginia Woolf for FJ, though I suspected it was incorrect. Never would have come up with the correct response. TS I got include Frankfort, magnetic north pole, highwayman, B.F. Skinner, and goats. I might have gotten hammock, but I zoned out for a couple of minutes and missed the clue entirely. Cosign on Wahlberg needing a BMS.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"

The pedals are the same, and the pattern of gears is the same. I love driving a stick, but I didn't trust myself in England, and rented an automatic. (I sometimes have issues with right and left, and was concerned about being able to find the right gears.) I did spend a lot of time on the rumble strip on the motorways in England, and yes, the large roundabouts were terrifying. But a lot of the really big ones had red lights to help people get into and out of them. A roundabout was recently installed on the street in front of my building at work. The day it opened, we spent nearly the whole day watching out the window. I was astonished that no one was killed. People just could not comprehend that they had to go around to the right to make a left turn. -
In Memoriam: Entertainment Industry Celebrity Deaths

Awwww, not Dr. Johnny Fever! RIP, Howard. You were the best morning DJ. -
It looked like Harry just put Max down on the ground next to the ship. Either way, Harry definitely protected Max as the ship was crashing. I liked the beginning with the road trip analogy in the SUV. I was very glad that #42 (42? Life, the universe, and everything?) restored Harry's memory as soon as he did. The memory loss thing would have gotten old really fast. Eye-arrhea had me in stitches. And Max, "Is that true?" Last season, someone -- I don't remember who, maybe Max? -- told the agents that the doctor was the alien, so the agents apprehended Ethan. Still, it's a little weird that Ethan's house is basically empty, with hardly any furniture, even. TBS had a marathon recently. I probably should have watched it. But I am so glad this show is back! Alan Tudyk is perfect as Harry.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"

Peeve for a snowy day -- no matter how carefully and completely I think I've removed snow from my car (and I absolutely DO remove snow from the top of the car!), snow still flies into the car when I open the door. And no matter how carefully I try to brush it off the seat of the car, I can't ever get it all, and it ends up melting, giving me a wet seat. Giant peeve -- people who don't clean all the snow off their cars. Giant slabs of snow and ice flying off the tops of cars is incredibly dangerous.
