FJ was on the tip of my tongue, but it just wouldn't quite come to me in time. I was able to come up with the TS of Jackie Mason, Blue Danube, Boston College, rises, and grouse. I confidently said, "Lou Grant!" I suspect they wouldn't have accepted that.

I am glad for some of the changes -- like having to wait until the clue is read before ringing in. I guess some things don't change, though, like the contestants starting in the middles of the categories.

I didn't get FJ tonight. I probably should have, but Josephine Baker never occurred to me. However, I did get the TS/missed DD of Bo Jackson, will, Rwanda, Salieri, o'clock, and Oak Ridge. Bo Jackson was a guess, but I knew he'd have to come up somewhere in that category. I was surprised that Salieri was a TS, but I guess it has been a few years since Amadeus was released. I freely admit that movie is the only reason I've even heard of Salieri.

She didn't go to work for Fox Books. There was a scene with her in the Fox bookstore, and she was helping both a customer and the Fox employee find the "shoe" books, but she was just visiting the store. She was not working there. I don't think it was ever explicitly stated what she was going to do, but writing children's books was a definite possibility. I do hate that her store closed, but she didn't close it voluntarily. Fox Books, with lower overhead and discounts, took her customers and put her out of business.

She puts me in mind of Anna Kendrick.

Instaget FJ for me tonight, although it was not one of my pre-guesses. Obviously, I identify with end guy's story, as I suspect many of us here do! I got a fair number of TS, too, including contact sheet, fraternities & sororities, food, Ecuador, Aswan, movie sets, Howler monkeys, and drag racing.

My sister tried to bring a sword home from Spain (in the 70s), but it was confiscated at security in Madrid. They told her they'd check it for her, but she never saw it again. It wouldn't fit in her checked bag.

I surprised myself by getting FJ tonight. I can barely name any baseball players, much less pitchers, and then to have that narrowed further? I can name exactly two African American baseball players, so I had a 50-50 shot. I got lucky. I also got the TS of monocle chronicle, hawk talk, swords, and apes.

Definitely not the best movie. It sugarcoated a lot. But I totally agree that Jessica was really good in it.

I liked Parallel Mothers a lot more than I expected to. Definitely worth a watch.
