So, we should be expecting lots of Finn's constipated facial expressions on Monday, then? I'm guessing her doesn't manage to get the truth out Monday, then, because I doubt the holier than thou trinity of suck would be calmly talking about how glad they are she's locked away if they'd just found out she's family. They'd be having a shit fit over how Finn "betrayed" Steffy by having sex almost 20 years before he met her. So, still hasn't told her by Wednesday, huh? Although, can we blame him? He's afraid she's going to flip her shit and go take off for a spoiled bitch mental health spa break. Jesus, Carter. Nothing gets by you, does it? I swear to God, if Brooke doesn't tell Hope and/or Carter what she overhears, after she went running to bust the two of them to Ridge, I hope that Hope cuts her out. This is a Friday? Kind of a yawn.

So, did they change Steffy and Finn's anniversary date specifically so they could have the symmetry of him finding out Sheila is his bio mother on their wedding day and finding out Luna is his daughter on their anniversary? As always, any combination of Steffy/Ridge/Taylor makes for an obnoxiously smug, self-serving, and dishonest conversation. Today was no exception. Brooke. Please. No. He's not remotely worth it. Let the dishrag have him. -

Ugh, I did not miss the beige dishrag. And just sitting around on the couch in his father's living room, making out? For fuck's sake, get your own place. Steffy is happy to walk in on that, but probably sad that she walked in too early. We all know she'd be fucking giddy if she walked in on them fucking on that couch. Then we had to endure those three smug assholes tearing down Hope again. Meanwhile, Brooke is over there mourning her relationship with Ridge, acting like the only thing that went wrong was her taking the CEO job. Never mind the horrid shit he said about her daughter, the one he helped raise as his own, and the horrid shit he sat there and allowed his bitchass daughter to say about both Brooke and Hope. No, Brooke, it's all on you taking the CEO job to try to save the company for his worthless ass. Please stop pining over him. He is not worth a moment of your time. They really are going to set up the story that Poppy is at fault for Luna's crime spree, aren't they? Of all the ways they could have played all of this, that's what they decided on? -

All I could think was how, leaning in to smell scents she has on each side of her neck, you're going to be getting some mixture of both scents, since the sides of her neck are not exactly far apart. Hope seems like she totally gets that Pepe LePew is hitting on Carter, but she's not threatened by it. Carter, on the other hand, seems like he's at least semi interested in picking up what Pepe's throwing down. Finn and Poppy had basically the exact same conversation they had before he did the DNA test, just that this time, he knew he was the father. But the content of the conversation? Essentially the same up until he snapped on her. Do the writers know their show is only a half hour long? Because they waste so much of that time on repeats of conversations we've already seen. -
Carly. I'm not defending Drew, but he knows that Carly will forever be obsessed with Jason. And he knows that, if he wants to hurt her, that's how you do it.

I want Hope to figure this out. All she needs to do is look at Steffy's smugness, the timing of her comeback alongside Pepe LePew just showing up at FC wanting to work with them, and the way she's behaving around Carter, and it doesn't take a genius to make some connections. Poppy should have said "do you have covid?" when Finn pulled that test out of his desk. I wonder whose head is going to explode more - Li or Steffy - when the truth comes out. -
I think that's why she just went to ranting about it not being anyone's business instead of going into denial mode. Probably figures that as long as people are focused on the idea of Jason, she's not lying to anyone she's close to as long as she doesn't directly say he is the father, and it's stopping people from trying to guess any other potential fathers and hitting on the truth.

I don't know. For one, he did a pretty good job of promoting the pairing on social media. But, also, Brennan still had a decent number of irons in the fire, storyline wise, beyond the Carly pairing. Yes, obviously, it was a major focus, being a soap and all, and the fact that they're still in the build-up phase of the relationship, which always gets a lot of focus. But there are a lot of other characters and storylines he's been involved with (Valentin, Jason, Joss, Anna, Sidwell), and with his role running the WSB office, that lends itself to the potential for a lot of involvement in other plots.

I can't say for sure it's a stalker situation, and I hope that it's not. But if it is, yes, I hope they find them and prosecute them. Nobody should have to deal with that. It just seems super odd to me that they didn't announce it until now, when they've clearly had to know for weeks, since he's last aired Friday and the new guy will be on this week. It makes it seem like they were intentionally keeping it quiet for some reason, and recasts aren't usually something they need to be so hush-hush about. And the storyline timing makes me think that this was something that happened really fast.

I could not stop laughing at Finn's sweaty, snotty reaction faces as he read his covid paternity test results. I can't believe I accurately called this so long ago. I had lost hope it was going to actually happen, but they came through. I cannot wait for Princess Superbitch to get the news. She was in full on smug mode today, so this will be fun. Speaking of here smugness, when she tried lording over Hope with the whole "this arrangement isn't going to work..." I so wanted Hope to say "oh, well, too bad then, I'll let Carter know you don't think this will work." For fuck's sake, Hope, stop letting her posture all over you. I have no real interest in Hope/Carter as a couple, so I don't really give a shit, from that angle, whether he succumbs to Pepe LePew. But, I do think it would be hilarious if he'd lean in, like he's going to kiss her, and then whisper "you can go tell your friend this obvious ploy isn't working." -
He was still on for a while after the election, but I'm remembering now that, a while ago (maybe around a month or so, time is kind of wonky in my brain sometimes), he tweeted something about having a potential stalker. That could account for him shutting down social media. If it became bad enough, it could potentially even be the reason for leaving the show so abruptly. But I'd definitely bet it had something to do with the social media shutdown, because if I recall correctly, he seemed to be implying that they were using Twitter to stalk/harass him.

I wonder, too, if it would mean something to Zende that Brooke told him about her plan the first chance she got, but Steffy and Ridge haven't told him jack shit about this plan. So, who is it that really treats him like family?

I keep noticing the similarities, too. But, like you, I just can't get why he'd do it. The Sheila thing ultimately didn't result in her going to jail. And, the authorities already had what they needed on Luna. Even if they didn't, and needed a confession, she already detailed exactly what she did when Bill was visiting in jail, and she has again since being in his house. I can't imagine what more anyone would need. I think this really is them thinking they're salvaging Luna. They're painting Poppy as a monster and having Bill play sympathetic ear to how Luna says she suffered being raised by her, because they think the audience is going to be on board with however they eventually free her. And I can get wanting to salvage her somehow, because the actress is good, but I just don't think this is the way. -
We're finally getting to someone finding out Luna isn't in jail. Isn't this what she's been trying to do every single day? That's not a spoiler. I will die laughing if Zende ruins Steffy's plan. Why is Electra talking to Will about Luna? And which family is Finn holding together? Brooke, please, stop. Grab some self respect, I beg of you.

That nurse is wandering around the hospital thinking "OK, both of the Doctors Finnegan are losing it." Also, Finn's face in the previews for next week was hysterical. I rewound just to watch that shit a second time. "She's a gold digger. She's a Logan." Bitch, the Logans have their own money. And, for the seven millionth time, Carter was the one who knew about the LLC papers and came up with the idea. Carter. Hope went along with it and supported him in it, but Carter was the driving force. Carter is the one running the company. Did Steffy not notice that Hope was not sitting in on Carter's meeting with Daphne? She has to have some inkling that Hope, if she was calling the shots, would not have taken her back on as president. I'm shocked that Ridge spent so much time without Taylor surgically attached to him the past two episodes. Daphne has never heard the word "subtle" has she? I still wouldn't be surprised if Carter fell for it, though. His main character trait, other than being Ridge's BFF who performs all the Forrester weddings, has been his desperation for female attention. Honestly, I kind of want him to fall for her, and then still not give the company back over to the Forresters to run. Steffy and Ridge won't be able to comprehend it. Oh, look, Bill and Luna are having the exact same fucking conversation they have every single day. This whole angle might have worked a tiny bit better if they hadn't had Luna and Poppy so close when Poppy came to town. They could have written Luna as being kind of on Li's side, in terms of judging Poppy for all of the choices she's made in her life. The story could have been that Luna actually stayed with Li's family at various times over the years because Poppy was off doing her own thing, and that she had grown close to Li and she resented the times her mother would show up and take her away from that sense of security and family. Maybe have them start growing closer when Luna thinks Bill is her father and she has a chance at some kind of actual family life, and then she snaps when she finds the letters from Tom and realizes that her mother's choices and lies are going to fuck her life up again. -
I'm assuming that Jason is going to hear that people think he's the baby's father, and he's just going to roll with it to keep an eye on Sasha and the baby for Michael. Lois needs to be honest with her daughter. It's getting more egregious now. But, also, yeah, poor Chase is going to basically only be able to hear "I can't get my wife pregnant, but my best friend was able to."

I swear, for a moment there, when Carter and Hope were talking about how "captivating" Pepe LePew is, it looked like Carter was taking that in, along with Daphne's not even remotely subtle come ons to him over the past few days and thinking "threesome?" Too bad for Carter, but the woman Daphne wants is clearly Steffy. Maybe she can be there for Steffy when she finds out her kidnapper is her stepdaughter. It would have been so awesome if, after Poppy got done denying her ass off, Finn said "oh, really, because this DNA test I ran while I waited for you to get here says otherwise." But, Finn's just not that clever. Oh, look, Bill and Luna are having the same fucking conversation they have every day. I hate that they're wasting both actors on this tedious repetition. Steffy can't comprehend that, because she controls Finn, fully and completely, so she assumes that's how it works. Ridge isn't correcting that notion, because it's also how he likes his relationships to work - total loyalty and obedience. They think Hope is controlling Carter via his dick. So, once they get his dick another interest, someone who pushes their agenda, he'll fall into line. -
From what I can tell, he's just voiced one character in multiple video games. I can't imagine that would make him any kind of big deal in the voice acting community. I googled, and I can't find any evidence of him ever doing any kind of voice acting coaching. The AI answer definitively said he has not, and I couldn't find anything contradicting that. There was a post from someone saying that SBu needs to go to some voice acting lessons himself, but nothing about him coaching anyone. Considering how much he usually promotes all of his side gigs to the fans, I'd expect to see some social media posts from him about it if he was doing any kind of coaching.

You know, there was a time I liked Sasha well enough, but damn if I can remember why at this point. She's standing there telling Jason that Willow can't know about the baby because she'll use Michael's cheating to get full custody. Yeah, gee, Sasha, it would really be cruel of Willow to have full custody of Michael's kids and not share them with him. Not like you who fully intends to share this baby with Michael. Oh, wait, what's that? You're not? The hypocrisy. (Not to mention, Michael has video evidence of Willow's infidelity, so their cheating basically cancels each other out. If infidelity was actually a reason to lose custody in the first place, which it's not.) Of course, that's all just bullshit, because the real reason you are keeping the baby's paternity a secret is to keep the baby from being too heavily influenced by the Q's or the mob. But, again, hypocrisy. So, Willow shouldn't get custody of her kids, and, instead, they should be kept by the Q's and Sonny/Carly, but you get to keep your kid away from all of them because you don't think that's an environment to raise kids in? Fuck right off. Insert my regular reminder that I hate myself for liking Carly/Brennan here. LW has had chemistry with exactly three actors the entirety of her run as Carly - Ted King, Ingo Rademacher, and now Charles Mesure. For just a moment, when Emma was paying her respects to Dante about Sam, she was who you'd expect Emma to be. But then that was just an excuse for her to spar with Gio and Dante to witness it so he could get all paternal on the son he doesn't know is his.

Finn should have taken a page out of his mother's book and started that paternity test while he waited for Poppy to get there. Also, I was kind of hoping Steffy would walk into his office right as he said "am I Luna's father?" I wonder how long he will wait to tell her all of this is going on. Knowing Finn, I would expect that one of his first stops after doing the DNA test or having Poppy admit he's the father would be the jail to see Luna. So, what happens then? Do they lie that she's unable to see visitors for a while? Or do they admit that she's been released to house arrest? At least they made some attempt to explain why Finn didn't act like he and Poppy had this kind of history and why he didn't think he was a possibility as Luna's father. And they also had him tell the audience, on behalf of the writers, that he was of age and they aren't blood related. I'm a little weirded out that they seem to be saying that there was some kind of ongoing romantic interest there. I thought a drunken hookup would have been the better way to go with this. Now, though, it's kind of making me wonder if the reason Finn was so happy to see Poppy in town and the two of them talking about what a great time they had when she was living with his family, was because the two of them still have some kind of attachment. The table is set for Steffy's head to explode more than once in the coming days/weeks. Finding out college Finn hooked up with his aunt, finding out he's Luna's father, finding out that Luna isn't actually in jail, and then finding out that Bill got her out and has been hosting her house arrest. -
So, Brennan has made it through the ranks of the WSB to the position he's in now, and he's letting down his guard in a spa like that with, apparently, no security? I get that you can't be on alert every single second of the day, but not even looking up to verify the identity of who's walking into the room when he's in a vulnerable position seems a bit careless. I love the Q's, but that was a shitshow.

My new theory on how this happened - the way they keep referencing Poppy being there to help Finn, when Finn was a grown ass college student, I'm wondering if he was maybe a late bloomer, and (my skin crawls to think this) somehow he was bemoaning his lack of experience to Poppy, and, one thing led to another, and... Because it's just so odd how Li and Jack are talking about Finn back then, like he was this young kid they needed Poppy to nanny. Meanwhile, Poppy has been the only one, of the three of them, to point out that Finn was a college student at the time, and he didn't really need supervision. I laugh every time someone praises Steffy, because JMW's facial expressions are always Steffy soaking it up like it is her due. Like today, when she was going on about how she just wanted Finn to experience the happiness of seeing his parents back together, and Taylor had to, of course, say that it's OK if that doesn't happen, because Steffy provides his happiness. The look on Steffy's face was so "well, that's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to point it out myself." I'm the parent of an adult child.. I would be so freaking concerned if my son went on and on about our (me and his father) marriage all the damn time like Steffy does about Ridge and Taylor. Like, OK, they're together now, do you need to gush over it every single time you see them? It's concerning, honestly. And the WRP should have some concerns about how wrapped up in their relationship Steffy is, especially when she starts going on about needing to reunite her husband's parents, too. Taylor, there is something seriously not OK about your daughter. You should be concerned instead of wanting to giggle with her over your sex with her father. Back when Poppy first showed up, and she, Finn, and Luna were talking about how Poppy lived with them before Luna was born, and the dialogue specifically mentioned that Finn was of college age at the time, I had the wild thought of "oh, shit, is Finn Luna's father?" Because that timeline was kind of aging Finn up a little beyond what most people seem to have thought his general age was. And it was an unnecessary thing to do, unless he needed to be a legal adult when Luna was conceived. Numerous other things along the way had he holding onto that thought. So I feel kind of excited that I picked up on a storyline so far ahead of when the show was ready to play it out. As someone who has a lot of extended family members who are adopted, the whole gist of it is icky, but I like that I called it so early and that it's going to fuck up Steffy's world. -

Beige: "No relationship is unsalvageable." Um, you'd better hope you're not right about that. And, good Lord, does Steffy get off on parent trapping? Stay the fuck out of Li and Jack's business and just focus on gushing over your parents being together while you can. I had to check, because I thought I remembered Finn and Steffy getting married during the summer, not in January. And, I was right. Their wedding aired in August of 2021. Taylor can be forgiven for not knowing that, seeing as, once again, she didn't show up for one of her kids. But Steffy, Finn, and Ridge were all there. Or, is January just the anniversary of the first time Steffy and Finn banged? Because I could totally see, with that creepy inappropriate family, her parents being all in on talking about her celebrating that anniversary. Finn telling Li she should have talked to him back then, and he could have reassured her that Jack and Poppy weren't have sex. The "because I was the one she was fucking" was silent. Watching his "where'd the frisbee go?" facial expressions as he started doing the math on Luna's conception, was hilarious. The back and forth between him figuring that out while the beige brigade was telling Steffy that even though Finn might not see his parents together like she's seeing hers, he'll still have Steffy, was like a downpour of anvils. Add in Sheila talking about losing out on Finn's childhood and not wanting to miss out on her grandkids, and it's beyond obvious at this point where this is all going. -
Why is Steffy going to her mommy and daddy about Jack and Li's relationship? What Ridge and Taylor should tell her is that she needs to leave her in-laws alone, and their relationship is none of her business. Steffy's Husband should also tell her that, but we know he's too afraid she'll give a tug on that choke chain she keeps him on if he were to dare say anything like that to her. Jesus, Li. You already confirmed that Jack is not Luna's father. The two of you divorced over his affair with Sheila and subsequent lies about Finn's parentage. Why do you need to have a conversation with Finn about Jack's infidelity? I know his wife's parents share way too fucking much with her about their relationship, but that doesn't mean you need to follow their example. It's understandable that the whole Luna paternity thing stirred up some of that for you again, but your son is not the proper person to talk that over with. Go get a therapist (not Taylor). I don't expect that we'll be getting the full reveal during this week, but I hope that the part about Finn's revealing backstory means we're at least going to get some breadcrumbs. What the fuck does that even mean? Daphne flipping the script and not following Steffy's plan is the only remotely interesting angle here. Whether that means she genuinely falls for Carter and helps him keep the company, or she falls for someone else. It could be Ridge. it could be Finn. Hell, it could be Steffy, Hope, or Brooke. (I almost included Taylor, but realized that would be way too far fetched. Nobody is getting swept away by the pathetic beige.)
