  1. I agree it was sad to see them go and that it was their own fault. But they were eliminated because they failed to read the clue twice.
  2. I kept expecting Monica to do a play on the old Seinfeld line and say, "Hey Kimmi, the ocean called. They're running out of clams!"
  3. I get why Abi thinks a heart transplant is not such a big deal. She has been getting by without a heart for 36 years.
  4. As a Christian, I basically agree with what you wrote. For Tasha to say maybe it wasn't in God's plan doesn't seem like she is bitter or blaming God. Quite the opposite. It sounds more like she is content with the life she believes God has given her, which is a very Biblical idea, which way too many of us Christian often fail to embrace.
  5. I don't think it has anything to do with his accent, but I find Varner's voice to be effeminate. In general, I don't think southern accents are at all effeminate. I am from New York. Personally, if anything, I find people from the South to be generally more intelligent than people from my region, who THINK they know everything but are largely misinformed and barely capable of independent or logical thought.
  6. I think Abi is too unstable, unreliable and unpredictable be a good goat. She turns on people for little or no reason. It is possible she might make it to FTC as a goat, but I doubt it would be with her original goat herder. If you keep her around long enough, she will turn on you. I think Tasha and Savage are smart enough to know that and they will vote her out next time. Besides that Woo is better for the team in challenges and not nearly shrewd enough to be a strategic threat down the road.
  7. I disagree. I think Tasha saw Varner's signaling to the other tribe as both a genuine long term threat, but more importantly a perfect excuse for her to grab control of the tribe. I think Tasha and Savage kept Woo and Abi because they are by far the least likely pair to join together to create a stalemate the next time they go to TC. I will be very surprised if Abi is not voted out next.
  8. The hazard lights might have been flashing to help attract the walkers. I think it would be normal to signal turns even during a ZA. Driving become instinctive after a while and you do things out of routine without thinking.
  9. Wouldn't that only result in a herd of Extra Crispy Walkers?
  10. I am sure it made the dog happy. They were designed to eat raw meat.
  11. While a boat would offer safety from walkers, I think getting fresh water to drink would be a major challenge. Plus, you would be limited to fish as a food source. Storms could also be deadly, especially without weather forecasts. I guess you could stay near the shore and look for safe places to land for supply runs. I think Andy may have shot Ofelia because he felt more betrayed by her and/or because he knew shooting her would hurt Daniel more than shooting Daniel would. I know if I was given the choice of being shot or seeing one of my children shot, I would much rather be shot. It will be interesting to see if Andy returns, possibly as an evil governor type. I didn't buy wimpy Travis suddenly having the will and ability to pummel a soldier and an armed one, no less. Liza probably understood how hopeless her situation was from her time treating walker victims and did not want to put herself and the group, especially Chris, through that.
  12. From her time serving in the hospital Liza probably knew she was doomed to horrible death and would then reanimate and try to eat Chris and the rest of the group.
  13. His plan ended up saving nobody and killing Liza. Griselda was already dead, Nick was going to get out with Strand and Liza was bitten as a result of Daniel's brilliant plan.
  14. I agree except I would replace the cheerleaders with the Green Team. Justin is very annoying.
  15. So happy to see the Soulless One get booted early. She was one of the most obnoxious and irritating survivors in the show's history. All the "bullying" talk makes me roll my eyes. First, this is not middle school. It is a highly competitive and often cutthroat contest for a million dollars, played by grown men and women. If people saying mean things is going to cause you to break down you are on the wrong show. Secondly, Shirin started the whole spat with Will by falsely accusing him of hoarding food, when he was on fact sharing HIS personal and food purchase with the tribe, despite the fact that nobody else knew he had it. Will overreacted and said some mean things, but Shirin started the dispute and was way out of line. Then in her monumental pettiness, she went against the entire tribe to deny Will his letter from home. She had also seemed to go out of her way to annoy the entire tribe from the start.
  16. I was happy to see the Soulless One make an early exit. She was one of the most annoying contestants ever. I am sure Will was smiling.
  17. IIRC, the cheerleaders said something like "He wants us out." I believe they were under the impression that he was not willing to take them any farther.
  18. I thought almost all of Walt's actions were understandble, though not justifiable, until he rejected the $5 million buyout from Declan. Up until that point, he was either trying to provide for his family, stay out of prison or save his own life or the lives of his family and Jesse. The buyout would have allowed him to retire and walk away with more money than his family would ever need and he and his family would have been safe. That was the one decision that was pure ego and greed with no element of self preservation or protecting his loved ones involved and it led to numerous deaths.
  19. Nimah being the terrorist wouldn't be a cliche, but she would be the most realistic and obvious terrorist, so clearly she could not be the terrorist. Unless the writers know that we would know that she is too obvious a choice to be the terrorist, making her the least obvious choice to be the terrorist, in which case clearly she must be the terrorist. :)
  20. Hey! Don't bad mouth Gang Green! The cheerleaders are going to win TAR and then the Jets will win the Super Bowl! :)
  21. Good season premiere. I think the casting is a bit too gimmicky (TMZ, New Anchors, gay son and Mom, Little People, Homeless Guys, Cheerleaders, Obsessed Superfans) but there seem to be plenty of likable racers and some that will be fun to hate. As a Jets fan I had to root for the cheerleaders. I found them a bit annoying but I don't think they seemed stupid as some say. They caught bad breaks with the cabs, couldn't do the volleyball and struggled with the slide puzzle like everyone else. (I love puzzles, but slide puzzles are the DEVIL!) They whined a bit, but they hung in there and survived. J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS! I really like the track stars. They are athletic, have positive attitudes and seem smart. The little people were amazing in the volleyball and I like them a lot. I think the Homeless Dancer's "Don't underestimate the little people." should have been the title quote. I also like the Homeless Dancers. The Texans are OK. They look like a strong team and seem like decent enough people. The Doctors were mildly annoying, but not terrible. Not sad to see the TMZ girls go. I had mixed feelings about their snark. It was a bit mean but it was also funny and I don't think the meant it personally. The Bates Motel crack was the meannest and funniest and while hyperbole sort of rang true. I can't stand the Green Team, well Justine...I mean Justin anyway. His obsession with getting the Express Pass no matter the risk was foolish. If you get it great, but don't risk elimination, especially when you are already in 1st place and could win without doing the Fast Foward. His defeatist attitude and crying on the way back from the FF made me want to vomit. (You can turn in your man card at the front desk). They hadn't lost anything at that point. It would be a like a QB crying because his team was down 10-0 in the first quarter. Suck it up and catch up!
  22. It is one thing not to cause a panic, but lying to the public about 3 officer involved shooting is not only wrong, it is nearly impossible and probably illegal.
  23. I don't think I would want to be tne only team on a flight only 30 minutes earlier. If something goes wrong, you could be totally screwed, while the other 10 know the flight won't hurt their chances of advancing.
  24. Good episode until Frank's coverup of the attempted bombings. I HATE when he has that "Men in Black" keep them in the dark, they can't handle the truth, paternalistic attitude towards the "children" of NYC. I also thought Erin's talk with Frank was absurd. They had way more than enough for a search warrant.
  25. I find it very odd that the main characters and the others in the safe zone seem to have so little desire for information about what is going on outside the gates. I would think they would be clamoring for information about what is causing tne outbreak, how widespread it is and especially about family and friends from LA and around the world. When disasters happen the first thing everyone does is to find out if friends and loved ones who might be affected are OK. If they cannot find out, many, if not most will worry obsessively until they do. I see almost none of this on the show.
