  1. His order in the voting could be critical. If he announces he is stealing a vote early on, it is possible the remaining voters could possibly vote for him. It will be interesting to see if any idols get played after he steals a vote. I still can't believe the tribe didn't immediately vote him out. It is foolish to leave someone in the game with an unknown advantage.
  2. I agree balance challenges usually favor the women or are gender neutral at worst. Joe just has extraordinary balance and endurance. He seemed to be struggling almost from the start but kept recovering and holding on.
  3. He might consider Stephen his right hand man, but doing so is very stupid. Stephen has been openly targeting members of his alliance for several episodes. Why does Jeremy think he won't be next? Also Stephen has been spewing all the "evolution" and temporary voting blocks crap at every opportunity. Why would anyone want to be in an alliance with someone who believes and is determined to prove that alliances are obsolete? On top of all that, the schemer, who doesn't believe in alliances has an advantage in the game that you should know he might be able to use to blindside you. If this is "new school" Survivor, then new school is stupid. At the very least, Jeremy should have insisted on seeing what Stephen's advantage was before agreeing to a big move.
  4. I think Jeremy is in far worse shape after the blindside and shake up. He is now aligned with 3 women he knows he cannot trust and 2 men who he thinks he can trust, but who will throw him under the bus at first chance. Plus one of them has a vote steal. He is also now the only alpha male and most obvious threat in his alliance. I suspect he is going to need both of those idols and sooner rather than later. He also pissed off 5 people who will likely be on the jury if the new 6 person alliance holds up.
  5. It wouldn't have mattered. Wigglesworth got 6 votes. The vote splitters had a total of 5 votes to use. 3 went to Ciara and 2 to Wentworth.
  6. Spencer definitely voted for Wigglesworth (He wrote "Kelly Wi") as did Jeremy, Fisbach and Wentworth, Ciara and Abi. Tasha, Kimmi and Wigglesworth voted for Ciara. Keith and Joe voted for Wentworth.
  7. Can they stop with all the "evolution" garbage. TPTB decided to shake the tribes up way more often than usual this season, which has almost certainly led to weaker alliances.
  8. I think Jeremy just blew up his own game by going along with the Wigglesworth blindside. He was in a perfect position, at the top of a strong alliance and 2 idols. Now he has to count on the 3 women, plus Spencer and Fisbach, none of whom can be trusted. Even if he makes it to FTC he probably just threw away the votes of Wigglesworth, Tasha, Kimmi, Keith and Joe. He either should have stuck with the Wentworth plan or snitched on Fishbach and Spencer and led a blindside of one of them. Plus they all know Fishbach has the advantage in the game and has been scheming the past 2 episodes. Very dumb not to blindside him.
  9. I think Spencer seeming "humorless" is really him having a very dry, deadpan, ironic sense of humor. For example I thought all his talk about deciding to learn how to feel and using it on Jeremy was very funny. He is sort of an intentional caricature of himself in the confessionals, IMO.
  10. I think Father Gabriel is an Episcopal priest. His church did not appear to be Roman Catholic or Orthodox and AFAIK those are the only other major denominations that call their clergy Father. Episcopal priests are allowed to marry. I don't think it was totally clear what his relationship to the woman wearing glasses in the photo, who later became a walker wearing glasses in the flooded food bank, was.
  11. I wouldn't say the crossbow thieves were the "worst". They didn't shoot him, try to rape him, hack him to pieces or eat him. By Zombie Apocalypse standards they were practically Gandhi and Mother Teresa. :)
  12. IMO, the way they did it was counterproductive. It completely put me off the new show tney were trying to promote. They have been doing numerous promos for the new show during TWD, which is fine and caused all interested TWD viewers to be well aware of the new show. What made it worse is that instead of a commercial break 5 minutes or so into the new show, following the cold open and credits, they held the first commercial break and TWD preview until over 20 minutes into the show. When the preview finally appeared it offered no clue about what might be happening next week. I just paused the DVR and fast forwarded through. I don't think loyal TWD viewers appreciated the attempt to trick them into watching the first third of the new show l.
  13. I would think than anyone dependent upon insulin injections for survival would have perished a long time ago. I can't see how she could have found a consistent supply for years after society collapsed.
  14. Isn't that Sasha's seat?
  15. Even exchange?
  16. I thought the episode was OK. I didn't like how the part with Daryl and the 3 strangers ended up. Obviously we will see them again, either dead or alive, or undead, as Daryl has got to get his crossbow back. Really pissed at AMC for holding the preview for next week back until the commercial break in the show that I will not name, or EVER watch now, out of spite. Show a little respect for your audience!
  17. It was unclear to me what her motivation was, but I think she was bribing them to stop the awful noise they were making.
  18. I think the potrayal of police critics was spot on accurate. They are generally horribly close minded and bigoted against the police and have little or no desire to hear the truth or anyone elses views. It was very timely given what is going on with all the spoiled, self righteous, clueless, hateful brats, who know nothing about life, but think they know everything, on college campuses this past week. I liked that Nicky finally seems to be thinking for herself again instead of being sucked into the Leftist mob thinking. I don't mind her being left of center as long as she uses her own mind and experiences to come to those views. I liked the Jamie and Eddie plot, except I thought the part about the sargeant wanting to die in the line of duty was unrealistic and took away from the debate about when to disobey a superior. I wish they would wrap up the stupid serial killer plot. At least Danny is finally starting to learn to wait for backup. Seems like Linda is far more traumatized by constantly having to worry about Danny than by her own near death experience. I think Jamie and Eddie would be great together. They admire and respect each other and greatly enjoy each others company. Their disputes are usually job related and a Jeddie ship would break them up as partners, solving those issues.
  19. It has nothing to do with them being "girls". Another racer helped them catch up and they thought it would be wrong to take advantage of her kindness by running past her to the judge. It would have been the same if a male racer had done it. They showed outstanding sportsmanship and honor. Good manners would be holding the door open for a lady or letting her off the elevator first.
  20. Yeah, once someone has turned you down it doesn't make a lot of sense to waste time following him and harassing him. She might have even broken some law. Nevertheless, still rooting for the cheerleaders. J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!
  21. She was in pain, so I didn't mind her whining. Speaking of the salt mine task, I thought Chris was very smart to dump out the salt and shovel into the cart instead of trying to lift the heavy wheelbarrow. I doubt he and Logan could have done it any other way and I am sure the cheerleaders would have needed to use that method as well. Chris and Logan were surprisingly bearable this episode. I don't think flirting for zloties was a bad strategy, but for attractive girls Tiffany and Krista were shockingly bad at it, especially the short one.
  22. All of LIFE is a class in honor and integrity. Josh and Tanner got an A+.
  23. Yeah her panhandling skills need improvement. Seems like once they switched roles and the taller one took over they quickly got the money.
  24. It wasn't being "gentlemanly" and deferring to the ladies as much as it was refusing to take advantage of the team that helped you when you were behind. I think they would have given the same courtesy to any team that helped them. It showed a great deal of character. I didn't like the pit stop being at the roadblock. If it had been somewhere else, it would have been fine for the Texans to try to beat the cheerleaders there, after allowing them to get the clue first.
  25. It was only stupid if you put winning at all costs ahead of integrity and honor. Even if they had been eliminated, it would have been the smartest move anybody in the race made, because it is the type of decision that shapes and demonstrates who you are as a person.I can't remember most of the winners of TAR, but I will always remember what Tanner and Josh did. As for calling themselves girls and boys, it is very common for people of all ages to refer to themselves that way.
