Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion
suomi replied to Shermie's topic in Live With Kelly And Mark
According to many outlets she is Furious! And will not appear at all this week. Did we notice that MS thanked everyone in general at the beginning of today's show and then at the end of the show he thanked Kelly in particular? UPDATE: he says his case will air on Friday of next week. it's the second case, per This Week On Judge Judy: "A tenant accused of skipping out on rent points the finger at his landlord saying he trespassed without permission and stole his property." But it was a landlady so that part makes me wonder; he says it must be a typo. I was surprised to learn that it happened last year because I thought it was a different incident from a couple years ago. I met a then-current landlady when I was in our hometown last summer and gave him a ride home after we ran into each other. I have more scoop but will save it until later, not to poison the well/if it's not his case that airs.

S06.E20: Who Do You Believe?
suomi replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
That Bravo link leads to photos at House of Hadid. It appears that Mohamed has many talents and was quite the hunk at one time. https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/HouseOfHadid/ -
I think any eloquence was the result of a narcissist immersing himself in details and aspects while he was in jail, when he literally had nothing else to do. I would compare it to memorizing a script in one year instead of one week. Because ... it was well known among his closest friends and professional colleagues that his ego took quite a blow when his political and professional aspirations came to nothing. He seriously thought he would become an elected official, a California state senator. He did plenty of meeting and greeting with Those In Charge and thought they would agree to support him, which they didn't. His sports broadcasting career was OK but not stellar and was largely based on a glib personality. He had the technical goods, and knew football inside out, but lacked ease with grammar, vocabulary and syntax. I like your term "finer emotional aspects" but I think if he was well-versed in those it was a reflection of what he noticed in/heard from others and not something he came up with on his own. I will give him persuasive; his LAPD jailers really enjoyed their afternoon in his Brentwood pool three days after the verdict. Nicole's friends said that, while he was pawing her clothing at the viewing, they heard him say "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

Donnie titillates her as well and she overcompensates with copious amounts of ew-ing and ugh-ing in his direction.

There is some debate over the origin of that quote but it certainly applies to Meeka this morning, as it does most mornings. She is running the gamut from shrill to dismissive. re playing golf or following golf: "Who does that? Strange sport."

Sergei's Farewell book is available via Kindle for $1.99 (448 pages). I bought it a couple minutes ago and I'm about to dig in.

I wondered if he was wearing his own fleece or if it was on loan from The Bloviator. Snowing here, no TV yesterday morning, still sketchy today, catching parts of the show when I have sound. I feared that Dad would stroke out a little earlier. Holy shit, his face was Red and the veins in his throat were Bulging. I think Dad fears that his White House dreams are slipping away.

ITA that the defensiveness on yesterday's show was way over the top and I can hardly wait for today's "presentation." Tonight on Lawrence O'Donnell's show, one of the guests was Lawrence Kristov of the New York Times who discussed his latest (withering) op-ed which ends with this: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/27/opinion/sunday/my-shared-shame-the-media-helped-make-trump.html?smtyp=cur Kristov's piece is assisting the WaPo interview transcripts in gaining some traction. The gist of that discussion (actually, the entire show) was that Trump's deficiencies are finally coming to light in venues that are willing to step up and that this could be "when" his candidacy begins to be exposed for what it was intended to be: a protest candidacy. Or so says a former staffer who resigned from his Make America Great foundation/PAC/group, whatever. The plan was to come in second and poll with double digits, I guess just to show that it could be done. For dessert, O'Donnell covered the Charlie Sykes interview. Joe will dig in tooth and nail to further defend his history with Trump because of how O'Donnell and Kristov and all of the other guests slammed the practices of "journalists" who have allowed Trump to slither and weasel instead of insisting on getting answers from him. Which can be done and was done by Kristov and the WaPo. So shove every bit of that up your tailpipe, MoJo. Side note: why does he wear fleece every day in the studio while sporting a jacket and tie when broadcasting from the secret bunker?

That is cool. My paternal grandparents immigrated to da U.P. in northern Michigan. Say yah to da U.P., eh? My dad was a very proud first generation American. Mita kuuluu? (I don't know how to add the umlaut over the "a." Back on topic, the ex is still MIA. Wouldn't it be fitting if he missed watching his episode because he's in jail? But we get to see it because we're not?

Twice! Two shoes! I got a kick out of the look on his face the first time and it sorta looked like he was gonna try to catch the second one but it was coming in too fast.

A synopsis of his case should involve (Same shit, different decade.) Still have my mink stole, but gave up all of my 20s and half of my 30s. Look for my younger photo under the heading "Sorely lacking in self-esteem, with abandonment issues." ETA spoiler tag

I know, right? Asked him again today when it will air, said he still doesn't know. Oh, how I wish I could say "Don't hang me up because people are laying in popcorn, cookies and cheezballs." Here's a tidbit: he called the producer to find out the air date and to ask for his paperwork to be returned. You know how Byrd gets all stabby with those who linger at the end and try to grab their paperwork? That's because you have to leave it there and it is returned to you "later," as in "whenever." Which is clearly explained and agreed to by all participants before the taping, hence Byrd's impatience. Two littles to nibble on: JJ is "a sly old lady" and she "tricked" him. He is totally unreliable and poofs when he goes on a binge or back to jail/prison so I am going to rely on this link instead of him. http://www.judgejudy.com/archives/2016-03-22 I would think that new cases replace reruns during sweeps periods? Sweeps dates here: http://www.voiceovers.com/sweepscalendar.html

Wellll ... I have quite the scoop. My ex (divorced him 30 years ago) taped a show last week. Not sure when it will air but it should be soon. He was the plaintiff, although when he called to tell me about it my first thought was that he surely would be the defendant. I won't say more right now except that he is listed in my phone as "Shiftless & Slovenly." Please move to the edge of your seats.

Coloring aside, the first time I laid eyes on The Rock many years ago I said, hmm, he is hottt and he reminds me of someone ... who is it? Oh yeah, OJ. ETA http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=dwayne+johnson&qpvt=dwayne+johnson&qpvt=dwayne+johnson&FORM=IARRSM

I continue to be baffled by journalists (?) who do not ask questions. Carson pooh-poohed his acrimonious treatment by Trump by writing it off as (paraphrasing) "things are said, in politics." I haven't heard anyone ask him if his praise for and endorsement of Trump are just "things being said." Secretary of Education, my asshole-uh. This entire Trump campaign has been like a bad acid trip: enough reality to convince you that you haven't totally lost it and enough fear and unease to convince you that you're not coming back this time. Looking forward to hearing what Mom and Dad will say about this endorsement on Monday. Oh, joy.

I caught the tail end of something about the funeral and came here to edit my post. Are they both in Cali for that, or just her?

Mom and Dad are MIA this morning.

S01.E06: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia
suomi replied to Tara Ariano's topic in American Crime Story: S01 The People v. O.J Simpson
But large enough a subset that "naming" a garment for it was/is acceptable. -
^ She wouldn't be much of a poker player. I couldn't have said which direction it would take but there was a palpable energy from minute one this morning. Plus, these two dimwits telegraph their intentions with what they choose to wear. If she makes an extra effort and he isn't wearing fleece ... then it's ON.

^ Was thar segment staged? Because it seemed like a ploy, as did the gloating afterward. Scratching my head like "whut?" because there's been a weird vibe right from the beginning of the show this morning.

Ito, Rosa Lopez, and Lange and Vannatter. Oh, and Bailey, and Scheck. AFAIK.
