Two interesting recent articles by Laura Hurley... anonymous asks: This is probably not news but I just feel that it's all these damn spin offs that caused the decline of Arrow in season 3. The network all ready showed that Arrow's the Woody while LOT and Flash are Buzz Lightyear, that SDCC poster was the worst display of hate and disrespect of a flagship I've ever seen. Then there's the fact that Andrew and Greg we lost to Flash and now LOT, while Marc was left to his lonesome when the three of them together was what helped the show a lot. What do you think? In the Blastr news article, Victor Garber said that he'll be appearing in four episodes of The Flash. In the Seat42F video interview, Marc Guggenheim said that the whole story of Sara's resurrection will be covered on Arrow. So nksarmi is right. They're still writing and just started shooting the first few episodes of Arrow and The Flash.

OK - so I just watched the Seat42F interview with MG at SDCC, and he says outright that (1) time travel on LoT will not be used to retcon Arrow, and (2) the whole Sara resurrection story will be covered on Arrow.

IIRC, SA said (in a tweet?) that when he read the script for 4x01, his jaw dropped twice - so there's two twists or surprises in the first episode. I'm guessing a minor twist and then the last scene shocker.

I read somewhere that, while Arrow picks up about 5 months later, Flash picks up from its S1 finale right away. So I'm unclear as to how the Flash singularity could affect Arrow unless it's a delayed ramification or something not revealed until 5 months later. Or the singularity causes Flash to jump forward 5 months in time so that the two shows line up again in time for the two-part crossovers in December (ep. 8 of both shows).
