And THIS is why I feel more emotionally invested in Arrow than The Flash - and why it irks me when they diss or dismiss Oliver on that other show.

It's cool that people have different opinions about Felicity's hairstyle. I guess I don't mind that she looks so young. Better that than looking too old to wear a ponytail or two little pigtails (imo) - something that bugs me about Abby on NCIS.

I like the ponytail. That and the glasses are part of Felicity's iconic look. I hope she can have different hairstyles for different occasions. But when she's working at her computer, I think it's just a practical and quick way of keeping her hair out of her face. (More practical than female heroes & villains fighting with long hair loosely swinging about - something we see in a lot of tv shows and movies.)

MG talks about Oliver and Barry appearing in Vixen in part of this interview: "The thing that's most fun about Arrow and Vixen is - [Oliver's] there with Barry Allen, the Flash. And usually it's Oliver who's going 'I don't believe in metas, this doesn't make any sense' and Barry's like 'well, it's science, I totally get it.' The dynamic is switched because Vixen's [powers] are magic-based, they're mythical. So that's something Oliver understands. That's something Oliver buys into. And it's the thing that Barry as a scientist can't wrap his head around. Ugh! I don't know why I bother reading articles at MoviePilot anymore. I just read one where the writer (and I use that term loosely) suggested that the way to "fix" Felicity was to injure her, put her in a wheelchair to become Oracle, have Oliver end their relationship out of guilt, and then Felicity would stay in the Arrowcave as the information person for the team.
