  1. Oh yes, that would be perfect! Hopefully (😉) Sally wouldn't feel some type of way about it also being the name of one of the people back in L.A. she had problems with. Hope Logan is still on B&B.. Screw those Newmans, at least the ones who think the can control time. On another soap forum someone pointed out that Sally started having pregnancy symptoms back in December. So either Baby Girl Newman is arriving in September or she's going to be quite early in June. Somehow I don't see TPTB being brave enough to mess around with a six-month pregnancy given how controversial that time frame could be. In that case, wouldn't Diane be charged with manslaughter?
  2. Malcolm is coming back for a brief stay too. Wonder if Tucker will still be in town? That could be quite a family reunion.
  3. Tucker in his dad jeans. Yowza. 🤪 Watch yourself, Ashley. Keep at it and you'll be faking your death too. Abby doesn't want to be dragged down into your obsession with Diane. YAY! A GIRL!!!! Lauren knows Jack talked Michael into going against her wishes wrt serving as Diane's defense attorney. Not sure what Jack hoped to accomplish by putting it in her face. He's lucky she still values their long friendship. Chamomile? Oh Sally, no, that will not fly as a name. The kids will be calling your daughter Camo. Or Ammo. Or, to stay on theme, War Pig. 😉 OMG, Victor never stops treating his grown kids like chess pieces. It makes zero sense for Nick and Adam to run MU together if they can't even deal with each other at NE. Tiresome. I didn't understand what Sally was saying about Christian. Adam has been no influence in that kid's life and Christian's mainly turned out to be a sap. IMO her "nature vs. nuture" argument was more shade on Nick than a prop for Adam. "Things aren't always as they seem." Understatement of year, Jack. Boy are you going to be mad. Nick said Baby Girl Newman is due in a couple of months. So, either a June baby or Nick is bad at simple math. Ruh roh. Chance was talking to Sharon like he sees himself as the avenger against the misdeeds of GC's rich and powerful. Don't start measuring for your superhero cape yet, fella. This time the victim is the perp. Yeah whatever, Ashley. Face it, you're a wannabe dominatrix and Tucker doesn't swing that way. Whoa, did the GCPD find Jeremy's corpse? That's either going to be good news for Diane or much, much worse. 🤔
  4. Why did Jack keep referring to Diane as "my fiancée"? Heh, since there's a Seinfeld moment for every occasion, I'll just leave this here: That's quite a tat Daniel has on his arm. Have we ever seen it before? Might be why Heather left him, lol. Nah, Daniel, it wasn't a daydream. You did see your undead mommy at the memorial service. Chile, you don't even know the half of what insanity she's been up to. Good thing Tucker didn't have a heart attack while he and Victor were discussing the sale of McCall Unlimited. That would've been some creepy Ashland déjà vu all over again. Poor Kyle, he has no guy pals so he has to share his marital woes with Uncle Misfit. Whatever Billy says, Kyle, you better do the opposite. (And ew on Kyle talking about his and Summer's boudoir troubles with the man who sexually assaulted her. You didn't think that through, JG. 🙁) Still not a fan of death used as an aphrodisiac but darned if Lily and Daniel aren't a good-looking couple. Those two have aged rather well. Does Audra have a GPS tracker on Tucker or does she also live at the GCAC? Seems like she's always sidling up to him. Billy caught a postcoital vibe between Lily and Daniel, tee hee. Lily was certainly still in the afterglow, the way she flounced into Society like her cooch hadn't stopped tingling. And now Billy moves on to his backpocket option. Ugh. I actually felt sorry for Chelsea. Jack looking at Ashley like a nest of snakes had just sprouted out of her head. Right there with ya, Jackie. Your sister has totally gone over the edge. But I bet my guy Tucker could calm her down in that special, generous way of his.
  5. When Tariq's class was discussing human capital, he came real close to saying something stupid like "slavery was a choice." This idiot brat. They lost me with the bitcoin stuff. At this point bitcoin seems like a bad buzzword. Brayden, Tariq, and Effie casually talking about Brayden offing a guy like they were trying to decide what kind of pizza to order. So young to be so empty. And Tariq ends up catching yet another body. Brayden is just not about murdering people, at least not when it's an assignment. Not really enjoying Lorenzo having to be Cane's bitch anymore. It's getting old. Tables don't necessarily need to be turned all the way back but I don't like Lorenzo having to obey Cane. Mary J seems to be sleepwalking her way through this season so far. Was she mostly busy doing something else while this was being filmed? Yeah, he seems too earnest to be true.
  6. Are overnight field trips with elementary school kids really a thing? Seems to me like that'd be a boundary the teachers wouldn't want to cross lest the kids start acting too familiar with them. Aliens might be on Earth drinking Mai Tais. Okay, so they can traverse the universe but have basic tastes in cocktails. Hmm. Ava Night Shyamalan. Lol, even Howard Stern calls him M. Night Shamalamadingdong and they're actual friends. Ehh, not sure sure I can buy Ava not knowing what a CPAP machine looks like. There's ads on TV everyday about them or the medication you can take instead. I don't think Greg's body looks like the Longhorn logo, IMO he looks like a capital letter "y." It's probably for the best they're keeping Janine and Greg out of a romantic coupling for now. And now the ball is in Janine's court. I just hope every season isn't going to end with things in limbo. So when does the next season start?
  7. Cute that they didn't let us hear Seven's catchphrase. It likely would've been a letdown anyway, like what happened on ST: Discovery. Nice finale. I think that was probably the best end for ST: Picard, to have him settled back in with the old gang. But oh well, Laris. Q again? Meh. I'll watch a spinoff series but I could do with him.
  8. I kept waiting for one of the Dark Troopers to say, "Who are you?" and Din to reply, "I'm Batman." His helmet and armor had a Dark Knight vibe to me in those fight scenes. R5 literally blew it out his ass at that mouse droid. More on the sartorial front: with his black cape's red lining, it looked like Moff Gideon was a fan of Louboutin. 😉 He was way more stylish than Darth Vader. Were those Pretorian Guards really going to kill a child? I know Gideon wanted Grogu's blood but he didn't need to be dead for that to happen. Yep, Grogu holding the inferno at bay around himself, Bo, and Din was great CGI. Daddy Mando, ya done good by Din Grogu. This is the way. TWO years until Season 4? 😱 My favorite comment from reddit:
  9. Leon as the voice of reason against Franklin. No honor among thieves. I'm surprised they didn't put Cissy in solitary confinement. But if the CIA wants to take her out they could, regardless. (Over on reddit they're still calling her the Skylar White of Snowfall. 🥳) Poor Wanda. She was trying so hard to have faith in the power of good deeds. At least she got out alive and healthy and stayed off the drugs despite living so close to temptation. Veronique finally went rogue. I knew she was wrong! And she actually was pregnant, lol. Peaches. How was he still alive? I would've expected him either to have OD'd or died of AIDS long before then. That poor locksmith. He had no idea what a hellscape had walked into. Or that it would cost him his life. Louie was hiding out at some stables. She was more into horses than I realized. And the owners lied for her to the DEA. Wow. Yeah, Leon was not the one I would've bet on to make it out of the game relativity unscathed and actually better off. Perhaps the love of a good woman made the difference for him. Oso made out well too, and his family was safe. Wonder if he'll risk going to see them? I was surprised they didn't address Parissa at all. I still think Teddy had given her the banking info and she had the $73M. Or she told the CIA where it was so they wouldn't be on her for the rest of her life. Franklin's meltdown was spectacular. He had basically become Alton. I think Damson Idris should get all the awards for his performance in this episode. King Kong ain't got nothing on him either. 😉 (Though I realize Hollywood seems to ignore this show. Too close to home for some people perhaps?) Bravo, Snowfall. It's been quite a ride. I wondered if it was a tiny nod to Spike Lee and the ending of School Daze. That world could've been Franklin's if not for the Fates and some bad decisions.
  10. One day out of the blue Tessa dropped by Elena's place and the two of them had tea. I think they talked about whether Tessa was ready to be a mother or something. They've been sorta galpals ever since. And that makes me hope Elena will switch to talking to Tessa about her man troubles intead of to Audra.
  11. Apparently new mommies Mariah and Tessa have lost the ability to see through windows. Or Abby headed them off before they could notice the party waiting inside Society. Sure Jan. 🙄 Aria must be on the same "all pastries, all the time" diet as Harrison, hah hah. She's a hefty newborn. (And is she played by twins like Dominic was? Her little cap made me nervous. 😉) Something doesn't seem right to me about the DA, the primary detective, and the accused's lawyer having a casual sit down at the coffeehouse. It's a murder prosecution, not a jaywalking case. Gosh Diane, it's too soon to be giving up. You need the support of the people who love you. They believe in your future not in prison for a crime you didn't commit, even if you don't. Is Billy already making trouble at Jabot? Again? Oh wait, he was just giving Kyle a brief opportunity to focus on something other than Diane and Summer. Golf claps for you, William. Noah said Allie was stuck at the lab. Okay, so she hasn't started living a scion's life of leisure after all. Good. Not sure Billy should be encouraging Chelsea to drop in on his job whenever she wants. She could become a huge distraction with her random crazypants issues. Wow, Jack is FED UP! Everybody stand back! He might start using contractions while he's yelling. Re the previews: WTAF? Not only is Phyllis revealing herself to be alive to Summer, she's doing it a public place? That better be a dream sequence. Grrr.
  12. Lucy is such a cutie. I wish she'd stick around longer. Oof, Sharon's double chin. 😼 How is Sally affording a GCAC suite? Does she even have a job or is Adam or Nick paying for it? Seems like managing the Newman brothers' places in her life is her job now. Given the way Nick clearly neglects his young son Christian, you'd think Sally would be worried about his involvement in her future child's life. I can't believe he spent the night with her and was only concerned about going to work. Nikki is being a lot more generous toward Sally's pregnancy than I would've expected, especially since she doesn't consider Adam a "real" Newman like Victoria and Nick. Lily and Devon's professional and personal rapprochement. Ehhh. Too easy IMO. Wait, what? No way is TGVN worried about the Newman name being scandalized over some baby mama drama. The Newmans have been one of the messiest families GC for decades, and he started it all by marrying a stripper. It's a scary time when I agree with Victor's read on a situation. I think he's 100% correct on Nick's motivation wrt Sally. It's all one-upsmanship over Adam. Aw geez, here comes the Lily and Daniel grief sex. KMN. Pssht, since when has that ever stopped one of these GC fools? Healthy boundaries are for poor people. 😈
  13. The door was locked and so Nick knocked, and thus the cock was successfully blocked. ☺️ Actually though, Victoria and Nate had only reached the petting stage with no genital contact. Nick only caught them in an embarrassing state of dishevelment. I don't understand Nate at all. Surely Victoria isn't going to put up with him teasing her forever. Eventually he'll have to put up or shut up, right?
  14. Much better dress on Audra today. I thought she looked chic in her long, bodycon sheath. But then Abby showed up in her hot pink nightmare. Yikes. Poor Dominic's eyes. 👀 Audra stays sticking these little verbal shivs in Victoria. And Victoria can't really call Audra out on it without exposing her actual shadiness wrt Nate. Whee! How convenient for Nate that he can blame Nick's gruff behavior toward him on the shock of Phyllis' death versus Nick knowing what Nate's up to with Vikki. This effing guy. You're right, Nate, Elena does deserve better. Way better than your lying, cheating a$$. Lol, did Nate think it was Casual Monday at NE? Maybe he wanted to wear clothes that are easier to get out of when he's screwing his boss on her desk. Uh oh, it might be curtains for Tucker. Sigh. So what exactly did Ashley accomplish by acquiring his debt? AYFKMWTS? Abby is a grown woman who hardly needs her mommy and daddy giving her the 3rd degree about her living arrangements. Devon isn't some bum who lives in a van down by the river. 🙄 Elena confiding in Audra is so weird to me. She needs a better galpal too. Ew, Tucker's making a deal with the devil. He must be hella desperate. You better come get your man, Ashley.
  15. Hee! Yeah, I don't think Chance will get with Summer because she's too much like spoiled princess like Abby. But perhaps he will continue to offer her a friendly ear for all her grievances against Diane and Kyle and Jack. Maybe he'll give her temporary safe haven at the Chancellor Estate too. But I could see Summer developing a crush on Chance despite knowing he's banging Sharon like a screen door during a hurricane.
  16. So Diane doesn't have to wear jailbird orange? Heh, this reminds me of when Erica Kane went to prison and she wore a tailored jumpsuit and beige pumps. Nikki said Michael Baldwin is the best attorney in GC. Well, perhaps he's the best criminal attorney--emphasis on criminal. Shut up, Nikki. Noah and Allie were in London. Guess she doesn't work anymore, and is living the globetrotting life of a rich man's granddaughter who has a trust fund baby boyfriend. Holey moley, Summer is begging to be slapped. I'm not advocating domestic violence but AFAIC Kyle needs to swing at that nasty little bish. She's not fueled by grief, it's pure hatefulness spewing from her pouty mouth. Victor acts like Michael is his indentured servant. Um, Vic? The 13th Amendment; look into it. Summer didn't even speak to Sharon at the coffeehouse. Rude much, StuporGirl? Nikki's wannabe crush Milton resembled Michael E. Knight. Wonder that silver fox is up to these days? Noah, if your precious baby sis is so bent out of shape her husband can't deal with her, maybe she's the one who needs to check herself. Sigh, all these self-entitled Newmans give me agita. Lol, I don't know how Chance didn't melt into a puddle on the floor from the way Sharon was throwing her body heat at him. The cougar thirst is real. I will never understand how in GC you can go to the jail and force a prisoner to sit and listen to you berate them. They do that on B&B too. It's like a modern version of medieval stocks and pillory. Is that a thing IRL? Hilarious! I wonder if the mixture has a cool slang name like "sizzurp"? (Meanwhile, I shudder to think what watch list I'm now on since I've googled "ambien and nyquil." It appears to be a popular search, OMG.)
  17. Heads up, y'all in the western time zones. CBS is again preempting Y&R and B&B to broadcast European league football games. The preemption will happen today and tomorrow (Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19). The episodes will likely be online at CBS.com/Paramount+ this afternoon. Good one, tee hee. In related news, it's possible Jeremy might not be actually dead, or he has a twin brother who'll show up later. Apparently James Hyde has been lowkey campaigning on social media to stay and MS is kinda supporting it. (I'd link to the article I read about JH/Stark but it's on the soap site which seems to have taken a "damning with faint praise" stance on Mariah and Aria and Tessa. So they can stay the FOH.}
  18. I am putting cash money on the table: Summer will be living at the Chancellor Estate within a month. That was definitely a chem test between her and Chance. Summer and Sharon competing for him could be hilarious. I could see crazypants Summer going all Fatal Attraction over the situation. Hard to believe Jack can't find an attorney to defend Diane. Perhaps he's not offering enough money because there are sharks who will take any case if the $$$ is right. Lol, Victor looking dumbfounded that both his sons have kept a gigantic, life-altering secret from him. Happy Monday, Victor! For once you're the one who's 100% clueless. Kyle trying to get tough with Chance. Like Chance couldn't just arrest him and his bouffant for threatening a officer of law. And there'd be no point in going after Chance's job because he's had one foot out the door for a while now. I did not have Phyllis stabbing Jeremy to death on my How Does Phyllis Get Away With It This Time? bingo card. The aftermath looked pretty gruesome. Who knew she had skills in close physical combat?
  19. Yes Yes Yes Yes! No No No No! Sounds like Grogu has reached the Terrible Twos. That land ship thing looked like it was on Dune (the 1984 movie version, anyway; I can't speak to the recent remake) without the sand. In fact, there were several visual nods to Dune in this episode, including the the title. (The Spies ~ The Spice.)
  20. I guess part of the "Previously" was from the Boba Fett series? I still haven't watched any of that so I didn't recognize those clips. Mandalorians as mercenary deprogrammers. Interesting. Why did the Armorer send Din and Grogu with Bo-Katan? Seems like an unnecessary danger to put Grogu in. Lizzo! And Jack Black! And Christopher Lloyd! Oh myĺ Lol, Duchess Lizzo petting Grogu like a cat and Grogu purring like one. I was getting Robcop 2 vibe off that first malfunctioning droid Bo and Din chased. So is Nepenthe like the Star Wars version of meth mixed with PCP? Commissioner Helgait made the classic Bond villain mistake: talking too much instead of just getting on with it.
  21. Did Franklin sic the DEA on Louie, or did Gustavo clue him in so he did Louie a favor by telling her they were coming? Oh okay, Franklin played a timing game. He knew Louie was about to be raided. He better hope she keeps running, far away from him. So Cissy wasn't in with Ruben. She's just been stringing him along all this time? He's a bad KGB agent if that's true. Crackhead Buckley. Of course Louie played him. She better dump his car quckly though. Veronique to the rescue! She was not about to lose the real estate portfolio on top of the $73M. She worked too hard to get it. Guess Teddy had decided he was ready to die when he finally told Franklin he was a merely a tool in Teddy's "patriotic" agenda. CISSY! Noooo! Well, at least we finally know for sure Alton is dead. But geez, she couldn't wait 30 seconds to shoot Teddy? She had to punish Franklin too? Is Franklin not aware of Parissa? She may be a wild card because Teddy likely told her the bank info as proof of his twu lub. Meanwhile, Teddy's baby mama sort of predicted his death, no? His end did indeed happen as a public execution. IMO this was a good episode with some suspenseful twists and turns. I would not put it up there with Breakin Bad's "Ozymandias" though. Am now eagerly awaiting the Snowfall finale. Also, I would've played an Al Green tune over the ending credits, in honor of getting splashed with hot grease/oil. 😏
  22. The cold open was pretty good, I thought. People outside of NYC who go to large city parks could probably relate to most of those characters. A hanging 8 but a standing 12. 😲 Do American Girl dolls really have such macabre backstories? Sp-Sp-Sp-Spicy needs to be on a watch list. Had never heard of Karol G before. She wasn't bad, maybe more subdued than I would've expected. Funky Kong was a character I didn't realize I needed to see Kenan play, though it was a tad reminiscent of other characters he's done. I felt bad for all those dogs. The sketch was thisclose to being abusive IMO. Ana was okay. Something about her vibe seemed off to me, like she was kind of above or removed from what was going on. I don't care if she ever hosts again. Over on reddit someone pointed out that Ben Affleck had dated two of Matt Shatt's wives and later married one of them. (Ana de Armas and JLo)
  23. Sigh, I was over on Worn on TV checking out the clothes worn in Abbott Elementary's Mom" episode. Ended up saddened to see Taraji P. Henson/Vanetta identified as Janelle James/Ava. I'm going to be generous and guess whoever posted that didn't watch the show. Those two women hardly look so much alike that they'd easily be mistaken for one another IRL or on AE. Hopefully someone from the site will see this and correct the mistake. ETA: It's been fixed and now correctly shows Vanetta/Tarsaji on the one outfit she wore in the episode.
  24. Wow, where did all this Diane hate come from all of a sudden? I'm scared. 😱 I've liked Diane's return for the most part. The beginning in L.A. when she manipulated Allie didn't sit right with me but once the action moved to GC I was on board. Diane other than SW and MW's versions is foggy to me. MW was definitely too young and it was clear a certain bts group of cast members didn't like her. I wasn't particularly taken by SW's earlier portayal either though I did enjoy how hard she went at Phyllis. A while before Diane showed up PB was lamenting how playboy Jackie's romancing days were over. Things have certainly turned around on that score, huh? One wonders though if Diane and Jack are going to end badly again. Meanwhile, out in the soap forum wilds there are viewers talking shite about Mariah, Aria, and Tessa. What is this world?
  25. The Amazing Jacob! Odd to me that Ava had never seen cheap magic tricks before. Or was she just hyping it up for the kids behalf? Shanae stopped serving almonds at 7:08, Gregory. Shanae does not play. Greg works a room like Data the artificial life form from Star Trek. I agree with comments upthread that he's probably on the spectrum. The show seems to be avoiding going there though. Was Greg surprised Janine didn't introduce him to Vanetta, or was he relieved? Whatever, it might've been interesting to see Vanetta's reaction to him, and whether she would've been a Mother Hen or a Mrs. Robinson. I was surprised Melissa wasn't wise to the spoon-bending trick. There was a guy who used to go on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show and amaze the studio audience by doing it. That is until word got out how the bit worked. I've even done it.
