It's his signature move. 🤠 Wouldn't surprise me given how cheap this show seems to have become. Somewhere out there Victoria Rowell must be feeling vindicated.

First, saying something is a fact does not necessarily make it one. Google Search can be gamed by both what it includes and what it does not. For example, it does not tend to pick up individual posts from Primetimer forums. Second, what I can glean from googling "flooding the zone" is that it's an effective way of manipulating Google search results by virtue of numbers. It can also be used in the media to change--at least momentarily--the direction of society's current attention or beliefs in regards to a subject or person. Additionally, flooding the zone seems to be an effective way of trolling an online forum.

What I googled about starting a counterpoint with the word "actually." Mileage varies. And the viewers make their own choices whether they want to agree with party line the show is trying to present. I think this forum at least tends to have more independent thought versus simply accepting what the writer(s)/TPTB/the actors are trying to push. Back when I watched B&B, Brad Bell seemed to have no problem showing the audience one thing and then later either writing that what we saw didn't happen, or having characters change their interpretation of what happened. IMO, Y&R, especially in the past few months appears to be applying a similar approach.

I wonder if there were subscribers to fan sites back then who were misogynists and supporters of domestic abuse of women.

Now they have to track down both Cameron the dirtbag and Phyllis' body-snatching EMT. Oh well. If I didn't know better I'd wonder if Victoria was in cahoots with Cameron. Nick being a violent loose cannon and ending up in jail plays right into Victoria's plans for loverboy Nate at NE/NM. And apparently TGVN can do nothing but stammer at her in disbelief. 🙄 I don't understand why Faith was taking a commercial flight back to Michigan. You'd think Grandpa Victor would've put his favorite granddaughter on his private jet, escorted by a whole security detail instead of one GCPD officer.

Yep and yep. I was looking forward to seeing Adam and Tucker get into some business shenanigans together but it seems like TPTB immediately shut their friendship down. Chance and Adam as buddies would be great too I think, especially since they're both single. But maybe since Chance might start dating Sharon it would be better to keep some distance between her ex and her possible future. ICAM. I'm still mad about that stupid bicentennial event where Nikki and Victor got to swan around like they're the queen and king of GC. Meanwhile, Chance is an actual descendant of the founder of Genoa City and I don't think he was even there, was he? He showed up in an official law enforcement capacity after the Phyllis and Stark stuff happened. Chance isn't the type who'd want to lord it over people that he's a social elite but IMO he should be shown proper deference anyway. Nope, the Newmans and Abbotts treat him like he's either their personal servant in the GCPD to handle their criming problems, or he's a minor annoyance and has no real authority over them.

Monet and Noma finally met. It was a lot more uneventful than I would've expected. Did Tariq actually expect Tommy's mother to give up her own son? What an idiot. Well, we probably could talk about Chance's pants more but the show seems to be concentrating on his shirts right now. MS--or someone acting on her behalf--has long been suspected of posting gushing statements about her performance as Phyllis or about Phyllis herself on another Y&R forum.* This probably isn't the place to be trying to pull that kind of stuff though, especially not in a "fact" versus "opinion" kind of way. *I don't think she's the only cast member who does it. I'd be curious to know what soap sites this speculation was happening on because this is my first time hearing it suggested that Mariah may have been sexually attracted to Summer. Also, I'm not sure many would characterize Mariah as "saccharine sweet." That was her dead twin sister, Cassie, who for several years after her death was practically elevated to sainthood.

Mariah came to GC in pursuit of her ex-lover and fiance, Tyler Michaelson, who was involved with Abby. She also slept with Kevin and Devon, and attempted to seduce Nick, mostly to get back at Sharon for having abandoned her as a baby. Her kissing Austin and the crush she had on him were relatively small potatoes in the overall scheme of things IMO.

Sharon was doing housework in a satin dress. WTAF. And why does she clean her own house, anyway? She's a wealthy woman so it seems to me she'd have a maid service come in once or twice a week. Well now, quick googling revealed there really is a jazz musician named Dizzy Reece and the LP Jack was waving around was actually released. This is my surprised face. Someone bts at Y&R is a true jazz aficionado. I think Cameron-era Sharon kind of resembled Taylor Schilling, star of Orange is the New Black. She had a fresh-faced innocent look back then. There must be times when someone shouldn't go through the lobby for security reasons. And sometimes people would simply want to avoid being seen by whoever happens to be in the dining room. Good grief, the tale of how poor Phyllis was victimized by evil Stark gets scarier every time Summer tells it. But still, IMO Victor needs to keep Phyllis' name out his mouth. He hasn't always faced up to the consequences of his bad actions either. Plus, hasn't he let his family think he was dead at least once? Creating unnecessary drama for your kids and then inserting yourself in the middle of it for attention and to test their loyalty. Phyllis and Chelsea are operating on Expert Level of that game.
