  1. That was SOOOOOOOOOO boring. I was always hoping we'd see more Amy, but not any more. And she looked really weird during the TH on the first hour. It must have been the makeup. I always thought she was a pretty girl but something was a little off. She has a good voice but it needs some work. And who only saves up for a 2 week trip to nashville to try and make it??
  2. I guess you got me there! except TLC stupidly aired the promo for the next episode right before the cliff hanger which shows it likely went on without a glitch lol What I did think was weird.. when they were getting ready to leave, multiple times Jenn said something like "are we going the whole weekend? or just a day?" or "I guess we're going for a couple of days and we'll see what happens!" Now that was slightly weird.
  3. Bill say it was a 40 min drive. It can easily take 40 min to get from one side of town to the other where I live and it's not even considered a big city. And Jenn did mention about them getting a hold of her, not that she would actually have to go in.
  4. Bill's cracks about her being 'old' were so funny to me. That shows a great relationship when you know the spouse won't get too terrible upset about those jokes.
  5. Exactly LOL Lizzie is apparently taking lessons from Kenya
  6. It bugged the crap out of me when his mom would get in the middle of their arguments. I think she meant well and didn't want them to argue but she was better to just stay out of it because it always seemed like she was taking his side.
  7. I think I read somewhere that they are no longer together.
  8. I was probably thinking about her without realizing it. Since they just had their reunion on tv not long ago and she said how horrible people were to her because of her character. And then on the other hand you have the two twins on Kate+8. There were some old episodes on 'on-demand' this weekend so I watched them. The little ones were turning 6 so i don't know how old that makes Maddy and Cara but holy smokes they were BRATS! Maybe they could blame it on their mom, but they acted like they were two while the little ones acted like they were in their teens.
  9. But one can make the argument that kids involved in non-reality shows are then judged by the character they play. Yes they can go home and put it away but if they are playing a negative character people react to them that way - not the true person that they are. So in a way that's worse. They can't change something they truly are not. At least with reality tv the kids might see how shitty they were in a situation when they are older and think "wow, I was a a-hole when I was younger".
  10. 3 showers is about the average I would think. Especially if you're going to church. You have your immediate family, then maybe the in-laws if they aren't close-by, a church open house, and one with friends/co-workers. My friend had about that many and I think she was about to go nuts. She would have only had one but when people say they want to do it for you it's kinda rude to tell them no (especially if they aren't invited to the others).
  11. I love this show but I'm really ready for a change. Change the house.... change the slop.... change the have/have nots.... Just change something! I actually would really love a house change more than anything.
  12. I missed most of it - but I thought I caught her saying that his mom lived a lot closer to where he worked (an hour difference I think) and they wanted to live together so they decided to live at his mom's house and not her parent's house. (although I don't know if there was an option for them both to stay at her parent's house)
  13. That was funny!
  14. At the age of 4, I doubt Will is trying to secretly mastermind how he can get one over on his parents through them trying to 'bribe' him with sweets. As kids get older they get a better understanding how things work. You can tell them no and they will actually listen. At 4... not so much. My nephew is 5 and we had to bribe him with dessert for him to just put on clothes so we could go eat for my birthday back during Christmas time. Oh AND for a family photo.
  15. There's no way they would have been able to continue the show without the kids. It was basically on its way out wasn't it?
  16. I thought the episode overall was boring also. Fairly interesting in terms of seeing who all this guy is hooked up to and the different stuff she did, but there was no "OMG" moment. 2nd episode in a row where the catfish is using real photos of themselves and their basic real info so they're easy to find.
  17. If you know everything they are doing or not doing, I'm sure everyone else would love to know. However, I think it's safe to assume that no one, except those in their immediate circle know entirely what they are doing to help Will catch up. And it's unfair to say they aren't doing enough when you have no idea what they are doing exactly. Just because we seem to know that Will only attends speech therapy once a week doesn't mean that's all they are doing. We also don't know how far he is into the process. Things get filmed and switched around all the time. We may see things when Will has had quite a bit of therapy and the next episode there might be scenes from when he just started.
  18. I think Josh surprising Anna in the restaurant was for the courtship. But now I'm doubting my memory.
  19. I didn't know we could have backyard chickens here until my neighbors started building a chicken coop. I didn't even believe it was a chicken coop until the day I actually saw chickens back there. Our yards aren't very big, pretty long and narrow - I can't even tell they're back there unless I'm doing something in the way back of my yard.
  20. I just remember the one moment I was bewildered by. When she called him on the phone and he asked if she had thought anymore about letting the baby stay at his house. She says no but says "but you can come over here whenever you want" WHAT!? Are you kidding me?? So glad he told her he was getting irritated and couldn't talk to her anymore. No he can not come over any time he wants. If he could, he would!
  21. The girls are obviously on pinterest and I don't believe there is any way to restrict content on there. I get random stuff showing up all the time on my pinterest page.
  22. I think she unfortunately didn't get the Duggar metabolism. Her clothes fit her just fine. She's just getting to be a little on the chunky side. (and I say this as a chunky lady myself - I do not look the same in the same clothes as skinny women, doesn't mean I can't wear them)
  23. And I'm fairly certain the eggs for the egg hunt were empty. They gathered them, dropped them off in a box and got their prize. Then I'm sure the workers at the farmer put them back so other kids could enjoy them. Collecting 10 was probably more of a learning experience for some kids. I doubt they actually cared if the kids gathered more than that.
  24. If you're at an outing and you're around a ton of people, most likely any parent is going to give in to their child or try to bribe them with treats to get them to behave. Jen used it to her advantage. She wanted pictures, Will wanted ice cream. Win-win. Some people must have the most angelic kids on the face of the earth of they're having issues with Will's behavior.......
  25. Tater tot casserole is amazing! I haven't had it for years though but I've been craving it (and not from watching the Duggar's eat it). I do remember when I was younger my mom would put veggies in it and I got so mad but I think that would be really good now.
