  1. So that was an official pregnancy announcement yes? I think even going into that doctor's office she was well on her way to being pregnant because she looked even more puffy than that puffy vest would show. The moment I saw her walk out of that car with that puffy vest on I thought "yep, she's pregnant"
  2. Deep down somewhere he probably knows that without Penny he'd have to go out and get a REAL job. And he likely doesn't want to do that. They seem to be living a mighty fine life with whatever aid they are receiving. Unless those are low-income apartments which is most likely.
  3. Didn't the last season have issues too with the locals not wanting them there?? They always had people outside their house and stuff.
  4. I did too! I must have misheard when she said her age. 37 is a lot more believable but still a little shocking.
  5. Did I hear Tara clearly when she said she was 32?
  6. Where the 7 little Johnstons not a series? I saw the new promo for the new family and wondered about them.
  7. I was honestly SHOCKED that Penny could get out of bed. The whole grocery shopping thing was very confusing.... He went with a list yet seemed to call constantly to check to see if she wanted cake mix. So did she purposely leave cake mix off the list to look better for the show?? He seemed very concerned that he would catch hell for not getting cake mix even though it was obviously not on the list. And I don't for a minute believe they are just eating tiny tortilla wraps for a meal and she's full after a couple of bites. After the film crew left she likely sent poor Edgar off to McDonalds. The one house they showed her being pushed up to, the lady seem to know them so I just assumed why Edgar pushed her up there. Most of the other houses she seemed to stay down on the sidewalk. At least Edgar is getting some good exercise, too bad that's only once every month or two.
  8. Madison is a parrot.... she was way too giddy when Alyssa showed up and agreeing and reiterating everything Alyssa said...."yea, that's what I told him!" Alyssa is a sneeaaakkkyyyyyy girl!!! She's smart coming in with a 'positive' attitude. I also though it was interesting that she knew Elizabeth was already there. but WTF tony.... is he the kissing bandit or what?? WHY was he kissing Alyssa at the end?? of course she's not going to stop it because she wants to prove a point to Elizabeth. I wonder how long Elizabeth stays. She might stay longer now that Alyssa is there but she said she's actually scared of her so who knows.
  9. Sweat in a bottle??? GROSS. Now I'm glad MTV isn't showing these on the episodes.
  10. I haven't watched this yet but I noticed that the Diem special was on after it and I'm like NOOOOOOOOOOOO! And instantly knew it was their last episode. I was hoping she made it further into the comp before having to leave :( I'm going to bawl like a freaking baby watching this episode.
  11. As a teenager... going to a dermatologist isn't going to matter if a kid doesn't do what they need to do to help their skin. Not say that's the case with these girls but when I was growing up I tried all sorts of things and honestly I didn't care enough to keep up with most of anything that I tried until I was a junior or senior in high school.
  12. yep! Around that age my nephew also preferred the shower. He would just sit in there by himself though and play lol
  13. I try to NOT feel bad for Jon even though it's hard sometimes.... but I agree that he likes to play the victim. If he put his mind to it he could probably get a great paying job because wasn't he working in the computer field before their tv show started?? It might be hard to pick back up in that area if you take yourself out for many years but being that he was in that line of work previously means that he is a pretty smart guy. Just seems like he lacks A LOT of ambition.
  14. It kinda cracks me up that people think Bill and Jen MUST have help - how else could they survive?? When there are a lot of little people families in this world and I'm sure they survive just fine. Especially since Bill and Jen have a house catering to their height whereas most people in their situation likely can't afford that luxury or don't want to do it (ie, "7 little Johnstons). These people were able to raise kids somehow! I don't know either - but if that's correct it's likely something that you have to request and I doubt Bill and Jen would ever think about asking for government assistance.
  15. As someone already stated up above - in the episode after Bill had surgery they stated that because of his surgery he could no longer do bath time with the kids. I can't remember who they said was doing it while he was out of commission. I would imagine at that point maybe they would bring in Kate or Jen's mom/dad. And when kids are that young they maybe have a bath what, every few days? Although with Jen being a little OCD I wouldn't put it past her to want them to have a bathe every night. And it wouldn't surprise me if they figured out a setup to where the kids could get into the tub themselves. When kids have parents with limitations the kids learn and adjust. I grew up with a kid whose mom was in a terrible car accident and ever since he was really really young his mom was not able to hold or carry him. Of course they had their dad, but he always said that as a young child he was very aware of his mom's condition.
  16. I didn't think Maddy was too incredibly bratty with the paddle board. she didn't want to do it in the first place and at least she tried it, like she said. And she admitted that she basically through a stomping fit out of the water - so at least she's fairly aware of her attitude lol And all she did was say "ok, then I'm going back" and paddled back in without much of a fuss. I thought the instructor guy came off a little rough with his "Well I've heard you don't like listening to authority....." or whatever he said. The ladies on the rowing seemed to be much more softer. I was going to mention that too - states have much more restrictions on kids getting their licenses now. Even if they can get it at 16 most areas have what is called a graduated drivers license where there are heavy restrictions until they are 18.
  17. I thought that was funny. Especially when Hannah said "maybe if she were a little nicer sometimes... I would pick her up from the island then" lol The last group of episodes they did featured their 10 year old bday parties at that aquarium thing. So They're probably 11 now? I doubt Kate will really wait till they're 18, I bet she would love for someone else to drive the kids around. Then Maddie and Cara will wish they couldn't drive till they were 18 lol
  18. They've shown two black vehicles parked at the rental house this season. And when they moved back to Jionni's parent's house they were each driving one. I think the range rover is Snooki's vehicle so not sure what Jionni is driving. Didn't think to look. Their new house is ridiculous but good for them. They will be very happy that they chose to invest in a house rather than other stupid stuff.
  19. I didn't have chinese food until I was in college. My boyfriend at the time wanted some so he went and got some and had me tried it. HOOKED ever since and now crab rangoons are one of my favorite foods. My mom says she's not really a fan but she'll eat it.
  20. And he makes them work for it before he will say "OK" to their surgery. Most (if not all) have to prove that they can lose a small amount of weight on their own before their surgeries. And i don't see anything shady about his location. He doesn't do surgeries there. For the people he sees it's the ideal location. Easy to get to, what appears to be ample parking close to the building (although i guess people could argue that his patients need a good walk from the parking garage), and obviously the office was custom modeled because the front door is bigger than your normal door so I would imagine other doors inside the office are similar.
  21. I noticed this during the episode too and i think it's interesting that so many of us noticed it as well. I by no means am saying that Lauren Graham looks bad, because she doesn't but it was just kinda like a "wow, did she gain weight?" type of reaction. Maybe it was the hiatus and seeing her for the first time in awhile. I'll be sad when this ends!! I'll likely be bawling at during the finale. It reminds me of the other show about the family in CA who had the winery..... for the life of me I can't recall the name of the show and their story lines started to get ridiculous but I was sad when it ended.
  22. Dayton's eye looked pretty good. You couldn't really tell much was wrong unless he looked up or to the side. I also thought it was weird that Robyn was semi-pressuring him. She said that he knows that when he's feeling anxious to go find a quiet spot.. and he did... LEAVE HIM ALONE! So neither of those ladies grew up in polygamy... and i think he said he didn't either? or maybe he said he didn't think he'd lead that lifestyle.. but because he met them within a week apart.. he couldn't which one he wanted.. so he convinced them to start a polygamous family. And did one of them already have kids?? The one daughter said she really only considered her 'blood' her siblings.
  23. Something I thought of last night... doesn't Jon have to agree to let the kids be on TV?? I wonder if he gets any compensation from it. I was only thinking that because I would think if Maddie and Cara were against filming they could likely rally with their dad and try to stop it. There are multiple families on Real Housewives were the kids are not shown because ex-husbands won't give their approval.
  24. I cringe thinking about trying to fit 2 people into that bed. Double beds aren't very big. Are they smaller/bigger/same size as a full size bed?
  25. Yes I think they did IVF and I'm sure they were expecting multiples... isn't that how they got Maddie and Cara? But I'm sure way back then even they didnt think they would get THAT many. I'm sure none of the families that have been features on tv shows or news stories were prepared for that. Even though they were likely told it COULD happen.
