  1. I wonder if Jim's daughter likes the idea of being on camera and that's why Meghan's there filming at the pre-party. It didn't hurt sometimes bratty Kara Keough(used BMW!!!), although she was pretty equipped with one-liners. Hailey is a bit more restrained than Kara. I also think someone had posted Jim was meant to be filmed with his second wife, so that could mean it's all about the kid. Brianna was better behaved and actually filmed longer than Kara, but Kara's mom left the show so who knows how long it would last. I suspect after Laguna Beach that being on tv carries a certain cache in these Orange County teen circles, and maybe Jim or his daughter wanted in. Could even explain the quick 3rd marriage-a marriage of convenience to get them all on camera. Having said that, I want to like Meghan. She's from my area, she seems to be intelligent, but I seriously want to shove a damn hashtag up her ass. Shannon needs to just cut ties, find herself a sweet man who wants to be told what to do. She's wound so tight that when her springs pop Carlsbad will drop into the ocean. It's uncomfortable and she's swiftly losing record popularity. I understand she worries about her kids, but that f'd up crap she and her hubs are spilling is going to scar those kids too. I chuckled like crazy at the man-boobs thing. Even if it was scripted it was funny as hell.
  2. I kind of flove the subplot of the non-existent baby bump. Even with the 10 pound ending. It was so funny when Brooke was working out wearing plain old Lululemon showing abs and supposedly full term. It makes me think of the lingerie model Sarah Stage who made the news for having a flat tummy, but exaggerated. I also loved her "cooking" by dumping two bowls in. I know people like Brooke but not as crazy. I always kind of feel like an outsider even though I hang with them because their insane diets and workouts baffle me and I work in fitness! Did not love the bloody battlefield scenes. That was a little too OTT but didn't seem out of place for this show.
  3. As a huge fan of the first movie, here is my problem with the Terminator franchise now: While yes, the initial story was bleak, Sarah and Kyle found love and John Conner was still born/managed to overthrow the machines/get his father back in time/etc. There was hope. By this point, after many time travels, reboots and movies, there is no hope. I left the movie theater after the picturesque ending at the farm thinking-suckers! If this movie does well or even if it doesn't, another freaking robot will come and try to stomp you out of existence. Why watch? Even Carl on the Walking Dead has more hope than Sarah Conner.
  4. I felt so sorry for Vicki-she's been a part of my regular tv viewing since season one, and partially the reason I never quit this franchise-even when Tamra's naked wasted almost killed it for me. It was like watching a friend and being helpless. I did, however, love the glimpse into Heather's world. She calls Terry to collect herself and then takes over, doing what has to get done. I don't think I'll ever give her marriage the stink eye ever again. Not that I ever really did, but when something like this happens, I think you see who these people really are. Tamras grin at the chaos until she realized what was going on, Meghan trying her best but not really knowing what to say since at her age she probably hadn't had to deal with this kind of thing, it was different reality for sure. I am very disturbed at the line crossed unless Vicki asked them to show this in the hopes it would help someone else going through the same thing.
  5. Loved the new additions to the cast. It was like something I didn't even know the show was missing was added on.
  6. Wow. I googled Allison Edmonds-she is stunning. She reminds me of a soap actress, Lauralee Bell(Cricket, Y&R) but even prettier if that's possible.
  7. I'm not sure-however, any kind of medical sales seem pretty desirable. I know someone who sold that sort of thing to medical spas and mingled in decent circles financially. She also had that Meghan look. I do think actual pharmaceutical sales are the most lucrative-top tier.
  8. Pharm reps in St. Louis are, from my experience, extremely attractive and very very fit. The ones I know have degrees and are very smart-the cream of the crop. They also make enough to mingle with the big wigs, here it's businessmen and athletes. I'm not saying I am an authority or anything, but I am quite familiar with the area Meghan comes from(Webster Groves). Worked around there for years, hubby went to school there. It's also the sales job everyone wants. I knew driven women who would have cut a bitch to get a pharm rep job, even though their current sales job was lucrative.
  9. Vicki has admitted from season 2 she hates when someone marries into money, and that it's because she never had the opportunity.(although I do think Donn made a lot more than her originally). She was happy for Laurie but also resentful and fully admitted it. I had no problem with what she said last night, because she said it matter of factly, as she figures everyone who's watched from day 1 knows her stance. I like that it shows she's the OG.
  10. I actually liked what Meghan did. I used to flove Shannon but she really is so tightly wound she's incredibly uncomfortable to watch. I would be concerned she'd drive away in her golf cart or something. Still like her though. Shannon was rude on the phone, Meghan was more offended than she needed to be, but damn skippy Shannon's apology was not for real and just a "let's just humor the crazy". Tamra and the other girls gossiping was shut down by Meghan(love that), the ladies left to party with Shannon and Meghan said she understood she had to reap what she sowed. I didn't like Shannon being excluded, but how refreshing to have a housewife actually accept they will pay for their choices. I hate when someone offends on these shows and then acts a victim. I can't really articulate this morning before coffee, but while I do feel for Shannon I thought Meghan was very accepting that the other ladies were going to support Shannon over her. I like that and don't think I've ever seen anyone other than occasionally Vicki own their crap.
  11. Completely in love with this. Even though pilots usually stutter, everything went smoothly like a show that had been on for years.
  12. I thought that Lincoln knew about the Sky/Jiaying connection via Raina's telepathy. I figured I missed some tiny clue during the previous episode.
  13. I figured there were a lot of awful secrets out there about Kim. "The book" talking about Big Kathy getting lessons for the girls so they would be good sex partners kind of danced around how twisted Kim's childhood was. I still think she can be an entitled mean girl, but it could explain how bitter she was about her childhood. Is Kyle being punished because it is perceived she didn't go through the same Hell? And yes, CrazyDaysAndNights Enty Lawyer does reveals on weekends of old blinds, and this was one from 2012. He does have a disclaimer at the end that things printed can be fictional and for entertainment purposes, but he has also been very accurate before on his blinds, so who knows? He was also interviewed on E! for some special program but was disguised.
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjdXNqkRXDM This should work. It's not pretty, but I imagine this is how it went down at the hotel also.
  15. I do feel bad for Kim, alcoholism is very serious. I want her to have her Robert Downey Jr. come to God moment. I also feel for the other patrons of the restaurant who were so disturbed by her hotel management had to call the police. That is why the old video of Kim I linked to came to mind. She was, even though many younger people can't fathom, a very big thing in her child star days. She was a Disney go to girl, much as Hailey Mills before her. She may look average in retrospect, but at the time she had "the" hair. Every girl I knew wanted that waist length healthy blonde hair. She was known for her look, skinny blonde California girl. I just saw a lot of entitled SUPERSTAH behavior in that old TMZ airport video, and in her completely unapologetic self on BH.
  16. I still remember the pre-Housewives drunk Kim at the airport video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjdXNqkRXDM Do you know who I am????
  17. I had two thoughts. First, it is totally going to be the B. couch's fault Kim relapsed, and second, that this could a standard PR thing. People hate addicts, love reform stories. A lot of people who hate Kim could potentially love her again if she's forced to go to rehab and recovers. We see this all of the time with celebs, Kim could be making over her image. Or she really is a huge mess, has been for awhile, and was caught.
  18. There I was, round three of Kim and Brandi talking with some Kyle thrown in. I watched hoping for some more Eileenisms, and nada. Still seems very skewed towards one couch over the other. I guess it's time to move on to OC now. I hope next year is more fabulosity and less sloppy brawling and finger pointing.
  19. In that clip, the IG pic they showed I actually saw in real time. It was just a sweet pic of the child in a hospital and everyone in her family rallying around. I don't see at all how it caused Kim pain, since she has stated numerous times this season she feels no guilt.
  20. If the people who cast and program this show have some foresight, they will do whatever it takes to get Eileen back. Whether Brandi says Eileen brings nothing to the table or not, the fact is I and many of my friends watched this show regularly this year for Eileen. She is unlike anyone we have ever seen in any franchise of any show . Her way with insane screeching harpies could be taught at University.
  21. I guess I do see the point about Brandi not getting to film with her kids, I do take that comment back. But the only time Andy seems to say anything positive is about Brandi. At least he's not defending Kim-however, he does shush anyone talking over her.
  22. Brandi how do you feel about this? Brandi how bad do you feel about your kids not being featured widdle widdle sweetie? UGH! Even if I were on Brandi's side, which a lot of viewers still are, judging by the comments on Bravo's Facebook, this is just too much. There's just way too much Brandi coddling.
  23. Sorry to hear about the setback Cyberjawa. Hopefully this coming week is better!
  24. I love reading STFU Parents around Easter, they usually get some amazing Easter submissions. Some people go all out like it's Christmas. I hate dying eggs, but I seriously doubt it's the dyed eggs causing kids to be unhealthy. Now that Robert L Strohecker bunny I bought from Harbor Sweets......that could use a carrot stick or two to balance out the fact that it's filled with almond buttercrunch toffee, caramel, pecans and whole toasted almonds.
  25. In defense of older dogs(after what I posted earlier), I have a pug who is litter trained. When we adopted our puggle, she immediately started using the litter box. Trust me, this dog was not using a litter box at the breeders or shelter. And I do adore her, so older dogs are still a wonderful option and can be trained. :)
