Da'vonne was teary-eyed throughout her DRs, which led me to believe that her team was going to lose the final competition. I remember kind of enjoying her during her season, but she's already coming off as a poor sport and it's only the first episode. I wouldn't be surprised to see her going home sooner rather than later, especially with her own teammates gunning for her. I found myself really liking Bridgette. She's cute but not saccharine, and she looks a little like Dora the Explorer. Not typically what I look for when rooting for a HG, but here we are. Bronte looks a little like Tori Spelling which makes me feel... uneasy. She annoyed me tonight, but I could see myself pulling for her if she ends up becoming an underdog.

Here's the deal, y'all: just because there are posters out there that are fans of cast members that you don't particularly like, you still don't get to demand that those fans explain their reasoning behind why they like him/her. There are fans of Shep, Kathryn, Landon, et al., and you should just accept that and move on. If *you* aren't a fan someone, you may express *your* opinion as to why you aren't, but don't ask anyone to explain their position because... well, they don't have to. Thanks!

Heidi's surgeries made me so sad. She wasn't conventionally pretty, but I always thought she was perfectly adorable and really didn't need work done. The fact that she had multiple surgeries done at once certainly seemed to indicate that she was/is suffering from some unresolved mental issues. Being under Spencer's thumb for years didn't really help, either. I'll tell you, everyone always claimed that the show was scripted (and, for the most part, I think that's probably 85% accurate), but I never doubted that the reactions of Holly and Darlene were completely real when it came to their incredible sadness over losing Heidi to Spencer. Seeing those two women fight to simply be in contact with Heidi and then for Darlene to admit that she felt as though she was mourning the loss of a child ... it was very difficult to watch.

I wasn't surprised to see one of the main cast from S1 go in the first episode, but I was hoping that it would be Emma. Mostly because she's my least favorite of the bunch, but also because it would have been pretty shocking to axe the "survivor girl" in the first moments of S2. But I guess we're stuck with her. Didn't understand why the Killer dragged Jake's murder out for so long. He definitely could have killed him while he was stuck in the bear trap, so there must be some reason he let Jake live for as long as he did. Everything else was pretty forgettable. Audrey grates on my nerves and I wouldn't be sad to see her go. There's no need for the amount of brooding she does.

I thought that the reason the AYTO kids were included on The Challenge (aside from the fact that there's a drought of RW/RR folks willing to participate) was because AYTO was produced by Bunim/Murray, but apparently that's not the case. It was interesting start to the season, although I was a little bummed that it was a 90 minute episode and yet no one was eliminated. In fact, we didn't even get to the damn elimination round. Talk about filler. Eh. Johnny (I *still* refuse to refer to him as Bananas) knew that he was perfectly safe after Vince came in first place. I imagine that if there was a real chance that he was at risk of elimination, he wouldn't have let Sarah fall. Is anyone else surprised by how old KellyAnne and Ashley look? It makes sense for Ashley because she appears to be a heavy drinker, but KellyAnne strikes me as someone who takes good care of herself.

It's super sad that Prince died, y'all, but let's try to stay on topic about the episode. Thanks.

So happy for I can't imagine what baking a cake for the Queen must feel like, but what an honor. It's definitely leaning a bit in that picture, but I don't think it really loses any of its charm because of it.

Okay. So, I had to edit some posts *again* because some of us are struggling to follow pretty basic rules. If you're going to address someone's opinion, just address the opinion and leave it at that. There's no need to start your post off with "You obviously didn't..." or "You shouldn't be talking about..." or "Don't tell me not to talk about X because you're the one who brought it up..." Stop. It's aggressive and rude and it just doesn't belong in civil discussion about a silly reality show. You'll also notice that I was able to edit both posts in such a way that they still made your points without attacking or really even addressing another poster! So, moving forward, let's try to do that ourselves instead of making me do it for you. Thanks.

When discussing religious symbols and how someone may perceive them, please do so with respect. The last two posts were moving into a heated territory and were deleted. If you find yourself becoming heated about someone's opinion regarding this show, remember that we're watching a bunch of homely looking people get drunk in Vegas. It ain't that serious, y'all.

I thought the ring that Craig had Cameran try on was incredibly ugly, but maybe that's just me. And $2,500 - $3,000 for a promise ring? What's Craig doing to make that kind of money? Because I need to quit my job and hitch myself to his wagon.

I've deleted the two previous posts because they were blatant attacks on other posters, and that's just not appropriate. If you want to disagree about what constitutes rape on a fictional television show, you're more than welcome to do so. What you're not welcome to do is attack other posters, put down their opinions, and imply that they're dumb and you're smart. It's inappropriate and not in the spirit of this forum. Additionally, if one poster is not following the rules and attacking others, that does not give other posters free reign to respond in kind. It just makes the mods' jobs more difficult because we have to delete or edit multiple posts, rather than just the one. So, please, please... let's all try to respect one another and get along. If we can't, we'll start handing out warnings. Thanks.

Not surprisingly, rape is a super sensitive topic for a lot of folks. Please remember that when posting about it and this episode. Thanks.

Blood, Sweat & Heels - General Discussion

At the risk of throwing the thread into an off-topic arena, has anyone seen this? Saaphyri (of "Flavor of Love" fame) is spewing some ugly comments about Daisy's father on Instagram. I think the worst of it is: I don't know what went on between Daisy's father and Saaphyri, but damn. -
He made it sound like they were biological cousins. He said that he'd lost touch with CT over the years, but that they reconnected when CT was applying for and subsequently cast on Real World: Paris.

I got the impression that he had to quickly add that his home is in Bel Air because he was worried everyone would assume it's in West Hollywood.
