And she should’ve done that. The only reason Laurel became a victim is because she was slimy and murderous enough to choose to work with him in the first place - whether she actually followed through with killing people or was just willing to and never did.

But they are making a choice of glossing over her role in helping Diaz as if she had only ever been his victim, and she hadn’t. So it’s not wrong to call it out.

I would be pleasantly surprised if they did anything other than the laziest route possible by bringing up anything she’s done beyond the revenge spiral she already admitting to regretting because she’s trying hard to be a good girl now.

Isn't that why she added that part? Because Laurel and Felicity were attacked by Diaz himself, but Dinah and Laurel had their beef last season (I don't recall Diaz attacking her).

Just thinking about last night’s episode dropping more crumbs about badness in ARGUS and I hope they get whatever shadiness/awfulness set up for the future soon because watching That storyline is torture.

Maybe - I didn't realize it was posted more than once. I only saw an anon post on callistawolf's tumblr and it wasn't mentioned there.

The only way it will ever make sense is if Oliver and Felicity don't ever go back to boarding school to pick him up and he hates their guts for the rest of his life over it. If they pick him up at all after that, then none of it makes sense, whether Felicity's been dead 8 years or not.

If she wanted to leave the show and they wanted to kill her off for her to do that, they'd do it here in the present, not in the future. If she's dead in the future, she still has a storyline in the present. There really wouldn't be any reason other than because they wanted to.
