Yeah, it was an identity swap for everyone BUT them - the whole concept was very dumb.

Any episode with Dinah in it is Dinah-heavy to me, so we're already there. Hopefully they continue their pattern of skipping the flash forwards for an ep or two so that I can personally be spared from a double dose.

Look at it this way: if Oliver's fate never gets mentioned in the flash forwards, we'd be fretting about it anyway!

Has anyone seen a postmortem on this? I looked on TVLine and EW and haven't seen anything - you'd think they'd want to tease this (and I was hoping to get maybe one quarter of an answer about Oliver).

I agree as well. For once he actually had no choice and did the right thing and since there isn't an immediate way to fix it, it doesn't seem worth the pain it would cause to tell anyone about it.

I wonder how they'd set it up in an even remotely believable fashion - I can't believe we wouldn't get any hints about him in the flash forwards until a full year from now. Unless they tease a cataclysmic rewriting of everything we know to be true and then at the end it's a LOL, JK

No. I think they set up his temporary death in 8X09, but he doesn't know that - idiot, LOL. ETA just to clarify that idiot = Oliver, as per usual.
