  1. Is it too much to hope that they've given up on the stupid #jar thing?
  2. TMZ has a picture of the ceremony and it was oddly formal. The bridesmaids all had these long black dresses and there are some people in the sand with full suits and shoes, and a few people who just went ahead and took off the shoes and rolled up their pants (my people).
  3. The Arrowverse's black Ford van budget must be huge. Gotham's bad guys seem lame. Not sure how I feel about Batwoman.
  4. I love her dress (from this angle at least) and her hair is so pretty. I dislike the white jacket, but it's a minor quibble, LOL.
  5. It’s especially weird here since two Flash writers are credited with writing the episode. I’d expect this nonsense from Marc Guggenheim, but not a couple of people who are used to writing him.
  6. Oliver's reaction seemed kind of weird to me at first because he did so easily go along with it, but he's a strategic thinker and he's gone along with other messed-up stuff (this season, even - during the prison arc) in order to get a sense of what was going on. But I do think that ultimately the reactions will be played for laughs instead of being realistic for the most part - like Barry's nonchalant "weird" reaction to seeing Oliver and Iris's wedding pic before getting super excited about the front page story pic of him as mayor.
  7. Maybe! Judging by the way she's touching him during this heart to heart, it seems she still thinks he's Barry so if they're going to have a heart to heart about anything I would greatly prefer it if it was something that gave him some perspective on his actual wife.
  8. I thought maybe Emily was sitting on a couch in the loft area, since they seem to use that for staging and what little we can see of it looks cluttered (and is also noisy).
  9. To be fair to her, she has no reason to believe that her acting is actually an issue - they've been giving her more to do, not less, and the numbers have been going up.
  10. I get it. I mean, I hate Barry and don't care about Kara, and don't want to get further into CW DC comics shows, so I'm not going to watch Batwoman if it ever gets picked up, so a three-hour crossover featuring all those things AND that has Oliver being Barry and Barry being Oliver isn't exactly calling me to tune in. But I will watch it, especially since there's going to be stuff that relates to Arrow on it, because I don't want to miss that, assuming it's good and will resolve some of the anger I was left with going into the hiatus instead of making me even angrier. I'm a little bit worried that the talk is with Caitlin, only because IMO Felicity's dark turn has been such utter bullshit, especially considering she's done *mostly* reasonable stuff to protect herself and her family, so trying to sell that as something that needs addressing is meh to me, especially the prospect of addressing it with someone who has a Killer Frost inside her. If Caitlin's just a sounding board, it'll be fine, but I'm going to be very mad if they're having these two talk so Caitlin can give Felicity advice on how to learn to live with two different parts of herself or something that will make me want to put my shoe through the television. But, I won't get mad about it until I see it, so I'm just hoping for a little bit of resolution to make the long wait until January a little bit easier. I'd like it if Oliver gets to have a heart to heart with someone (Barry, if we must) about how the stuff that she did that freaked him out is understandable given what's been going on in her life in the past 7 months.
  11. I wish I loved your job so freaking much. It would greatly elevate my Arrow viewing experience.
  12. Assuming Oliver and Barry don’t somehow return to regular reality on Arrow before it gets rewritten again, I love that Felicity and Oliver’s drama managed to survive the reality rewrite, LOL.
  13. Having watched one or more of these shows for the past 7 years I'm sad to say that it's just as likely that we'll get an explanation as we won't. With a lot of this crossover stuff I don't think much thought is given to the bigger picture other than what scenes will look "cool."
  14. It'll probably have something to do with ARGUS or the like - there's a book of destiny involved, I would be surprised if we didn't get hints about other people's futures too.
  15. I'm pretty sure David said that Diggle's going to get a warning about his future, not that we're going to actually see future Diggle (but I could be mistaken - and the rest of your theory could still come to pass that way).
  16. Yeah, but that's always how Arrow's been. It's never been a show that gives weighty emotional scenes even a second to breathe.
  17. Who sold it as an Olicity ep? Did anyone from the show do that, or was it just reviewer opinion that made people think that? Because it was a big episode for them, just not really full of the best things for anyone who's a fan of the relationship.
  18. Okay then, I'll bow out then and stop commenting on obvious things! For the record, I think it's supposed to be both a compass and a bullseye (but perhaps that is also obvious).
  19. @Chaser explained it, but I was mostly just being silly.
  20. Yeah, with the way it was positioned on Dinah's wrist I thought it was supposed to be a compass as well. IF there's any symbolism there, and not just in terms of actual symbols (like arrow for Oliver, the "eye" for Felicity), I think the star makes sense for her, but would be really surprised if the arrow and star wind up being symbolic at all.
