  1. Sadly, she doubled-down on the Sara is the love of Laurel's life theory.
  2. With SA's comment that this season is going to end with a more well-rounded or complete Oliver (I can't remember exactly how he worded it), I think that Felicity might withdraw into herself, and maybe blame herself, and Oliver's going to be the one who convinces her that there isn't anything to feel guilty about. I think he'll probably do that for everyone - be for them what they've always been for him. Maybe?
  3. Okay. Any particular reason why you think they'd fake her death? It completely takes her off the board in the one job she was actually somewhat effective at - being a lawyer. Darhk targeted Felicity, too, and she went on living publicly after he shot her to hell and back. It would make her parents go through the grief of losing a daughter again. She comes back later for...what, exactly? Her leaving takes away one set of helping hands that the team desperately needs. I think it's just bad editing, which is a common issue with this show.
  4. The producers have already come out and said Oliver didn't fake her death.
  5. And a lot of people still seem to think this is a fake out or she'll somehow come back. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
  6. I think the next ep's ratings will drop simply because they're on a 2-week break. It'll be tough to gauge anything there because of it.
  7. Not trying to get into fantalk, but it's a theory being floated by the Felicity & Friends contingent. And I hope no one on this show is stupid enough to go there. I agree that since The Black Canary is written on her headstone, it ends there.
  8. It could've been. She said that she realized anything could happen, so I guess she could've said, "In case this happens again and I do bite it..." It just happened way sooner than she anticipated, haha.
  9. What? It's a legit question. She asked him to promise her something, and then handed him the picture.
  10. I totally missed that they were going to be looking for another Lazarus Pit. So...seems like Oliver's not the only one who has difficulty learning his lesson from shitty consequences of past actions?
  11. Since Laurel handed the picture back to Oliver when she asked him to promise her something, does that mean we're destined to see the damned thing again?
  12. I just thought it was shitty that he didn't actually respond to her, and instead used his response to take a shot at fandom, haha.
  13. It'll probably be retconned. MG said on Tumblr that Oliver gave Felicity that bottle of wine he promised her right after the Undertaking, but they actually wrote it into the Season 2.5 comics. So, if they can serve their story but retconning it here, they probably will. Even though it'll make Oliver and Laurel look pretty terrible.
  14. Yeah, I suppose that could be it. I know it's her head canon, but I did wonder if it was done intentionally, especially since Oliver didn't reciprocate - at all - anything that she told him. And he didn't even say "we love you" along with everyone else.
  15. So, do you guys think that Laurel's getting the Tommy treatment on purpose, or did they accidentally make this THAT shitty? Tommy tells Laurel he loves her with his dying breath, she goes off and carries a torch for Oliver. Laurel tells Oliver he's the love of her life with her dying breath, and he's still totes in love with Felicity?
  16. With all the resurrections and magic, I don't think there's anything that will make people think she's not coming back at some point. Katie could land a role on another show, and I think people would still be counting on it. Even if the team spends all next ep trying to find ways to bring her back and failing at every one of them, people will still think she'll show up again.
  17. We really do need to figure out the key to these mysterious pandering powers.
  18. Have you been carrying it around in your wallet? After all these years?
  19. I'd be happy to be wrong, but I don't recall ever seeing it before. Didn't they just bang in front of the open window like two of the tackiest a-holes around, and then kiss once in the foyer of Queen Mansion? I don't remember anything else. I'm hoping it's old and that we aren't going to see them behaving like this after Tommy died, but I think we are.
  20. Guys, come on. Can we not get into petty arguments about career choices?
  21. She has to die - there's a grave with her name on it on Lian Yu per those stupid Merlyn comics. Yeah. This is what's going to happen, and given how Tommy died it's...icky. Like everything else about them, haha.
  22. I have no idea what they do. I'm just saying that if Katie wanted to have input, she wouldn't have fought for something different or better for Laurel, because she herself didn't want anything different or better for Laurel. Katie thought Oliver was the love of Laurel's life, too. So, why worry about Katie deserving better, when that's what she wanted for Laurel? I don't really get where you're coming from. What difference does it make when she's told or how she comes to grips with it? It would be difficult for her to be on the set day after day after being fired, so wouldn't it be better to let her know later on when she wouldn't have to report to work much longer? Giving her time to come to grips with being fired while still reporting to set for months doesn't seem a whole lot kinder.
  23. It's also the shitty head canon that Katie herself has expressed numerous times in her interviews. So, who knows. Yep. You think it was difficult for her to get through court scenes after finding out, how do you think she'd feel working on the show for eight months knowing she was being written off? Would that somehow be better?
