  1. It doesn't. I get that they wanted to give her a reason outside of not being able to be around Oliver, but the one they gave her doesn't quite fly based on what we know of her. And I don't see how making PT a "beacon of hope" is something that would take the place of her work on Team Arrow. Her whole livelihood depends on her doing that, like...it's what she's supposed to spend the majority of her day doing at work, haha.
  2. That could be. I wasn't really paying very close attention.
  3. I *hate* to agree with MG about anything, but I did think this ep was pretty funny. Terrible puns and cheese aside, I thought there were some good one-liners, like Donna saying she had to squeeze Felicity's feelings out "like a pistachio," and Curtis had some good lines, too.
  4. It sounds like KC to me. "I know exactly what that kevlar won't protect." EXCUSE ME, MR. DIGGLE. WE NEED TO HAVE WORDS.
  5. So, is Andy a double crosser, or a double double crosser? I can't tell. I liked this ep, even though I thought it dragged a little. I think they tried too hard with Curtis a lot of the times, but I did think he was enjoyable when he wasn't being too much. Haha. Wanna go tree climbing, Thomas J?!
  6. So, is Monument Point an asylum or a home for the elderly?
  7. Ah, see, I think Curtis is kind of annoying here, haha.
  8. LOL @ me for doubting that Curtis would find is own way down into the bunker.
  9. She's been posting old pics since the dawn of time, and they should know that by now. If they want to believe it's new despite her giving them no indication that it is, then that's on them, I say. . Looks like a Pomeranian.
  10. Plus, they made it pretty clear that he's venting his poor feels physically through sparring that no one wants anything to do with anymore, haha.
  11. Apart from the fact that it's a minute out of the ep, just because Oliver doesn't want people tiptoeing around him doesn't mean that he's over it. And Oliver and Felicity's breakup shouldn't be the focus of the team's interaction together, and given what they were talking about - keeping Alex away from Ruve Darhk - everyone's reactions seem perfectly reasonable to me? And what difference does it make if Thea tells Alex to go to Felicity for a job? She has one available. She knows him, apparently thinks he did a good job as Oliver's campaign manager considering she never let him go. Seems like an all-around win to me.
  12. She's probably hiring a chief of staff for when she's mayor.
  13. The election is next week! Interesting... I love that Ruve Adams-Darhk is hiring a new Chief of Staff. I wonder how that's going to turn out. Is she going to win and then die, and the city will be mayor less again? Is she going to lose to a write-in campaign? Will Oliver re enter tonight? ::dramatic chipmunk::
  14. 'I'M CALLING NINE-ONE-ONE!!!" "THERE'S NO SIGNAL!!!" https://youtu.be/Plz-bhcHryc
  15. The head of the board is one of the worst actors I've ever seen on this show.
  16. There is a logical line of reasoning that we can follow to understand why Felicity believes that Oliver isn't ever going to stop the secret keeping. At this point, though, it's total fan wank. After teaming with Malcolm last year, and everything that went down in relation to his secret mission to take down the LoA, she's right to have trust issues, but we haven't ever seen that she does. So, I think, it's easy to forget about, especially if you don't analyze things like we do. I think it probably would've been pretty easy for them to throw in a line of dialogue after Oliver says, "You can't know that." She could've responded with something like, "I do know that. Last year you were making secret plans to take down the League with Malcolm, and fooling us into thinking you really were Al Sahim. I thought we were past all that, but here you are, hiding things again, and I don't think you'll ever stop." But, people probably would've accused her of throwing his past in his face. I think the ultimate disservice to this breakup wasn't not giving Felicity a POV, it was basing it around a secret kid. People have such strong, immovable opinions on what lengths a parent could and should go to to protect their child, and what is and is not someone else's business wrt the care and protection of that child. She was not ever, ever going to win here, regardless how plot hole-y and stupid Oliver's reasoning for doing what he did with William was or how much evidence there is in her favor to back up the break up.
  17. Given that MG wrote 4x18, I think the death actually will happen in that ep. At the very end. I'm not entirely sure we'll be left with a cliffhanger and the identity of the dead person unclear (for the unspoiled) like some people speculated.
  18. You know someone on his team has to have been trying to get him to do that for years, haha.
  19. We won't know if it's two weeks until later this week when they release the batch of summaries for the week of the 18th.
  20. I'm glad I looked that up, because I thought the heart-to-heart with Curtis was in tomorrow's ep.
  21. Didn't we get the summary for 18 already though? ETA: Yeah, we did. It's going on a break 1 week after Flash. ARROW “Eleven-Fifty-Nine” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV) MALCOLM MAKES HIS MOVE – Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Merlyn (John Barrowman) is going to try to break Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) out of prison. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) gets a surprising offer and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has a heart-to-heart talk with Curtis (guest star Echo Kellum). Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Keto Shimizu (#418). Original airdate 4/6/2016.
  22. hmmmmmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm mmmm mmm mm m i do not know There's a difference between stubborn and being so dumb that you repeatedly put people in danger by not learning your lessons but 'kay, Grant!
  23. He, like Oliver, has difficulty learning his lessons. But OMG @ him recording a goodbye message from Eddie for Iris. I'm weeping.
