  1. MM pointing out that many "pro-lifers" are all about making sure innocent fetuses are born. However, once these babies are born many pro-lifers wash their hands of them. "Yea they are born, our job is done here." They do not support the funding of children's healthcare, education, food stamps and housing. It is the pro-choice/liberal politicians and organizations that actually support caring for the children and their families once they are born. MM checkmated Candance of the hypocrisy of the majority of those in the "pro-life" movement. The look on her face read like it was the first time she had ever considered the "after care" of the saved babies.
  2. Richie would be in pig heaven. He strikes me as the type of pig who would be hitting on his son's girlfriends in front of and behind his wife's and son's backs. I can also see him as being the dad, in his daughter's group of friends, who is known as the "pervie dad". I can't prove it but I just know in my gut it's true.
  3. Eric said he heard everything that went on while he was in his coma. He was aware of Ridges attempt to grab control of FC and of Eric's person. He told Quinn that he did not trust Ridge, which proves to me that Eric is definitely of sound mind. Quinn gave Ridge a last chance to work with her to help Eric while he is recovering. Not only did Ridge refuse to cooperate, he declared war on Eric and Quinn. Quinn had no choice but to fire both Ridge and Steffy because they could not be trusted. Eric told Quinn that Ridge and Steffy were only loyal to themselves and not to trust them. I don't think he will be upset that Quinn fired them. I think Eric will be sad but relieved to have those two temporarily out of the way so his legacy will be preserved while he recuperates.
  4. When Sonny told Carly that he has loved Morgan from the second he was born, Mr. Moving asked me if it was a second before or after Morgan was born that Sonny shot Carly in the head.
  5. Quinn totally kicked ass today. She went into the meeting being very calm but assertive and took control of FC. She told the family that she wanted them all to work together for Eric's sake. Ridge's response was to double down on his aggressive power grab. Quinn did not get angry, she relieved Ridge and Steffy of their duties at FC until Eric's return because she could not trust them. She had no other choice. Ridge's behavior would continue to threaten Eric's health and FC. Ridge and Steffy only have themselves to blame.
  6. BRAVA! This is why I can not feel sorry for Carly and Sonny. The two of them ARE rotten parents. Morgan did have a biologically based mental illness, however, he was raised by two violent sociopaths who shaped the person he was. Morgan grew up to be a cocky, selfish and manipulative douche. Growing up in the mob he never learned what the word "no" meant because his parents had the power to turn a no into a yes. If he got into trouble his father's power would get him out of it. He never learned his actions would have any consequences. Combine this type of attitude along with bipolar disorder and you have a recipe for disaster. Morgan was doomed not because of bipolar or medication switching. His fate was sealed because his rotten parents spoiled and coddled him his whole life. Because of this he had no tolerance when things did not go his way. The night he died Morgan was not on his meds but he knew he should not be drinking. He was angry and having one of his tantrums so he got drunk and stole a car. He was not out of his mind and unaware of what he was doing, he was just pissed off. Had he grown up with decent parents who taught him right from wrong, self control and not to throw barware around the house anytime they got angry, Morgan would still be alive. No Carly and Sonny, no pity for you.
  7. Eric Forrester is the best romantic lead on this show. He is handsome, loving, compassionate, rich, humble, intelligent, artistic and sexy as hell.
  8. I feel your pain. When I start crushing on Schmidt I just remind myself that he is the one who gave us Sarah Palin for a VP nominee and the feeling goes away.
  9. Thanks everyone! This site was my support group to cope with the crazy I was watching.
  10. I wish Brooke had walked in on Ridge attacking Eric. Brooke will always love Eric and if she had seen Ridge abuse his father she would marry Bill and give the FC shares to Eric.
  11. I hope Quinn has Ridge removed from FC because Ridge was threatening a hostile takeover of FC. She should also file a restraining order against Ridge to keep him away from Eric. Ridge's behavior at Eric's bedside is a danger to Eric's health. If Quinn does this she would be acting in Eric"s best interests. Today Ridge acted as if he WANTED Eric to have another attack. I am very well aware that these are fictional characters, but I got so angry that I wanted to jump into the tv and pull Ridge out of Eric's room.
  12. I mean, like I've said a bunch of times, even when you disconnect Franco from his past misdeeds, what you're left with is a 45 year old man wheedling his ex-girlfriend for take-out for his new girlfriend. Plus, his hair. It's not good. After his retcon Franco would be at peace because he did not do those horrible things. He no longer needs to punish himself and goes to Nina to get a Crimson makeover. He cuts that stupid hair and obtains a decent wardrobe. Franco could have his snarky side and look good at the same time.
  13. Newlywed do bicker on occasion, however, when the bride is a miserable bitch, they tend to bicker a lot.
  14. It is clear that Richie and Trump have been hanging out in the same locker room.
  15. Last year I went bathroom sink shopping with my friend. The sales people were really pushing those sinks. The both of us thought those fancy sinks were ridiculous and impractical. We had a good laugh about them. She ended up getting an "ordinary" sink that her 4 kids would not destroy and that she could easily clean.
  16. I don't want Jax back to comfort Carly. I want Jax back to hold Carly accountable and to take Sonny down once and for all.
  17. Laura Wright was great today, however, I have not one ounce of sympathy for Carly. She has been playing with fire in regards to the lives of herself and her children for DECADES. She repeatedly chose to raise her children within the mob and this is the result.
  18. Exactly. Maples should have personally addressed each group of inmates to let them know what was being done about the plumbing. He needed to let them know that he had purchased water and it was on it's way. Let them know that the heat had been turned on but it might take a while for it to reach them and let them know he was trying to come up with some extra blankets. Ask the inmates if they had any other concerns, at this point he would have been told about the sick inmate, who he could have pulled from the Rec room, brought to a nurse and kept in isolation. Because you don't want hundreds of men exposed to the flu. The sheriff needed to apologize and thank the inmates for cooperating during this crisis. All of this would assure the inmates that they were respected and would be taken care of. If Maples had done any of these basic things, tensions would have been a lot lower for both the inmates and the jail staff.
  19. I forgot about Lady Jane. She is a lovely character like Lila Quartermaine, but she was not afraid to call out the women who had done Jax wrong.
  20. This would be a great time for Jax to move back to PC. Carly, Joss and Michael need him. Also Alexis is his best friend and she needs him right now. Jax is at his best when he is play white knight to Sonny's dark knight.
  21. The Sheriff's goal was to expose the going ons between the inmates in his jail. What is being exposed instead is the incompetence of the Sheriff and his staff. What I can't figure out is if the Sheriff wanted to do this series in order to get more taxpayer money to improve the facility and staff....or...is just SO INCOMPETENT that he was totally unaware of how out of control his jail is. The staff is either highly untrained or burned out by the stress of their job. The staff was clearly not trained in de escalating tactics. During the sewer crisis there did not seem to be any leadership, otherwise something as basic as getting the inmates water would have been handled within the first few hours. Someone should have turned the heat on in the Rec Room. The sheriff has no excuses.
  22. When Jason reminded Michael that he was the first one to hold Morgan when he came home from the hospital, I talked back to the TV, as one does, and "Yeah Michael kinda had to hold Morgan because Carly was in a coma after being shot in the head by Sonny while she was giving birth{". Mr. Moving, who only starting watching with me 4 years ago and did not know about the "bullet of love", shouted "What do you mean Sonny shot Carly in the head while she was giving birth!". I had to pause the DVR and tell him the whole Lorenzo Alcazar/Carly's coma dream life story line. Poor guy looked at me with disbelief and muttered the he can't believe I got him hooked on this crap.
  23. There is no leadership running this jail. If there was no access to safe drinking water, it was the Sheriff's responsibility to make arrangements for water to be delivered. People have drinking water delivered to their homes all the time. Local grocery stores have entire aisles with nothing but bottles of water! No one in that brain trust thought to get any? There is no reason for inmates going for over 30 hours without a adequate access to water. Simply providing this basic human need would have gone a LONG way in deescalating the tension. The CO's are very unprofessional in this facility. If I were a citizen of that county I would be insisting that the Corrections Dept. be investigated and the "leadership" and most of the staff be replaced. It is a MAJOR lawsuit waiting to happen.
  24. For years Bobbie has pleaded with Carly to "snap out of it" and stay the hell away from Sonny before she or her children were further harmed by Sonny's lifestyle. Michael has been shot in the head, been in a coma, went to prison and was raped because of Sonny. Yet Carly can't/won't quit him. Now the worst has happened, Morgan has been "killed". There must be a part of Bobbie that wants to smack Carly in the face and say "You chose Sonny over the safety of your children for years. This is the result. Your child is dead because of your choices and you only have yourself to blame.".
