That confused me too. Why not just have ready made pies waiting?

I've never had earplugs, but they pipe whatever music in you want. And put something over my eyes. I'm very claustrophobic and it is not pleasant. Back to the show: I would've preferred it if the series had gotten rid of the CIA angle and just dealt with the police stuff.

Ugh!: Actors, Hosts, And TV Personalities You Just Can't Stand
Writing Wrongs replied to UYI's topic in Everything Else TV
I don't know why really, but I can't stand when Jeri Ryan pops up in shows I watch. I don't know anything about her, I just get a gut reaction when I see her face. -
What was the weird shit with Nebraska? His story sounded lame. I guess Lizzie didn't need luggage for her cross country trip. But a romance seems to be brewing. Thanks CBS for the future storyline that we won't see played out. I feel like I've invested my time well. Sigh.

I laughed so hard at the Jackson watermelon montage. I bet he pees a lot. Christie, you are not making America proud. Literally. Now go have a cry. Nick should've kept his mouth shut. Nicole was on to him. And I wish he'd put on a damn shirt.

I'm gonna give Shetland another try, but I find Scottish accents really hard to understand sometimes. I've been watching Season 7 of Father Brown. It's ok.

As the show went on, the writing really became a sore point for me. They do something interesting like Belle finally getting a backbone and forcing Rumple over the town line, but then they reverse it by having her forgive him AGAIN and take him back. The same with Rumple's pure heart and then having him get The Dark One powers back and screwing over Belle AGAIN and her taking him back AGAIN. And they get a happy ending! Then they take the interesting idea of Emma becoming The Dark One, but her evilness is all a big fake out. Think if they would've done her character like Evil Angel in Buffy Season 2 and had her actually do Dark One things? Hook was way more interesting as The Dark One. It's like they were afraid to commit to making Emma bad or something. Even the interesting idea of the Curse of Shattered Sight that got played for laughs. What a bunch of shit All the ridiculous and unnecessary retcons. Not knowing what to do with characters once they were introduced. This is still one of my favorite shows though.😉

TV Tropes: Love 'em or Loathe 'em
Writing Wrongs replied to galax-arena's topic in Everything Else TV
When a character has an unusual experience, be it supernatural or whatever, and no one will believe them and tries to rationalize it away. Or only their ex will believe and help them and that ends up causing them to get back together. My biggest peeve is when people enter their homes at night and don't turn the lights on. They just wander about in the dark until someone jumps out and kills them. The first things I do when I get home are turn the lights on, lock the door and turn the tv on.- 3.6k replies

Million Dollar Listing NY - General Discussion
Writing Wrongs replied to Aethera's topic in Million Dollar Listing NY
What happened to the new guy that was so heavily featured in the promos? Yes. Luis always got on my nerves. I like Steve ok, but I have a hard time taking him seriously. He always acts like he's modeling on a runway. -
Here's mine: The first encounter was at a Holiday Inn where my mother and I would like to go for breakfast. We were standing behind a lady that was pretty dressed up and my mom said to me,"Who dos she think she is, a movie star?" Later when we got a good look at her we realized it was Dawn Wells, Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island. She had gone to college in our town and would come back for charity stuff periodically. Second one was when I worked as a cashier in a pharmacy and I helped a lady with some medicine. I realized it was Marcia Wallace who was on The Bob Newhart Show. She was in town doing a play of "Steel Magnolias" and was feeling under the weather. I geeked out after she left. I never know if I should acknowledge who they are or not. Next one was my first trip to Los Angeles. We happened to be there on the day that Bruce Willis got his hand prints in concrete in front of Grauman's Theater. As he walked down the line of people, I opted to take a photo but my mom shook his hand and said, Hi, I'm Vicki from Missouri." and he said, "Hi, I'm Bruce." I remember people kept yelling, "Where's Demi?" this was 1995. When we were there, we asked a doorman outside a fancy restaurant if any celebs were in there and he wouldn't say. But when we asked him who one of the worst ones that dined there was, he said Michael Richards from "Seinfeld". That he acted like a dick to people. LOL

I started looking up mini-series from the 80s. Man, all of the Sidney Sheldon novels starring Jaclyn Smith, Windmills of the Gods, Rage of Angels. The original Bourne Identity with Richard Chamberlain. I found some stuff on YouTube I had been looking for like Lindsay Wagner in From The Dead of Night and a Patty Duke one from back in the day that used to freak me out as a kid, Curse of the Black Widow. I may try to re-watch the North & South mini-series. Good times indeed.

I think Joe got in Micah's head and he messed up. You could tell he wanted to say fuck off to Joe when he was trashing cooking meat and potatoes. -

Noah's dish looked like shit surrounded by a ring of vomit. He must've been channeling his job. I don't know why they needed to show us Gordon producing an amazing pot pie in 30 minutes. SEASON 10!- 3.3k replies

That shower conversation was hilarious. Christie: "I'm done crying." Next scene, she's crying. And the next and the next. I literally wish she would stop saying "literally".

I'm glad that actor Tahmoh Penikett is gone. He ends up being on every Vancouver show I watch and he always looks like he is sucking on a lemon. I'm not really loving any of the fake spouses on the show. I'm starting to find all the blurring of reality/tv show kind of distracting. Christine Elise is surprisingly entertaining.

Can someone explain the family dynamics for me? That was Mina's sister, but not Karen's daughter I guess. Was the sister and the brother on the show, siblings too?

I can see how he can be annoying, but the way he is edited on this show is shameful. I can only imagine how his family feels watching it.- 3.3k replies
