  1. I watched Redemption and really enjoyed it.
  2. I just finished Season 1 of Hope Street. I enjoyed it apart from some awful characters like the mother of the head cop and the two idiot bar owners. I was excited by the cliffhanger, but I see the main character Leila is not even in Season 2 so I think I'm going to pass on it. I hate when shows do that. I got caught up on Vera. Still my favorite of all the British detective shows.
  3. I can't stand the way she talks or acts. How old is she supposed to be? I miss Bunty. I'm ok with Mrs. Devine, because I didn't like Mrs. McCarthy either. I liked Lady Felicia. As much as Mallory came off as a dumbass, Sullivan just annoys me with his consistent attitude toward Father Brown. He should know by now that Father Brown will solve his cases. Think how many innocent people would be in jail if Sullivan had his way.
  4. It's been a while, but I thought I'd pop in with a pic of Daisy. Now when I see her, she is excited and very playful.
  5. My mom took Daisy back to the vet about her skin and scratching. He said she has allergies, but since they can't really narrow it down he prescribed a pill that covers most. She also has to take medicine for infection from her scratching. She also had to have her anal sacs expressed again (my mom said she could hear Daisy in the other room crying during it). He gave her a pill to help with that too. They spent a lot of money that day. She looked so sad after and my mom said she went under the bed and stayed for a good while. It did her good though. I went over the other night and she was all over me as soon as I walked in. I sat on the floor and she was racing around in circles and playing.
  6. Shannen's cancer has spread to her brain. https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/07/entertainment/shannen-doherty-cancer/index.html
  7. I know! I can't believe someone dumped this dog in a field. She is sweet, intelligent and cute.
  8. So Daisy is very sensitive to things on her skin. After my mom washed her shirt and put it on her, she had a bad reaction to what they think is the detergent. After hand washing it, she was ok with it. They also removed her collar as that was irritating her. My mom also gave her a bit of a haircut as her hair is really thick due to the double coat. Luckily, she's easy going and didn't mind getting a haircut and loves being brushed. Lately, I've been re-watching that show Too Cute..Puppies. So adorable.
  9. I have been looking for the Partridge Family vs. the Brady Bunch skit for a long time and finally found it. Susan Dey hosting
  10. Shirt wearing time. Daisy has some skin irritation on her belly that my mom has to put cream on, but Daisy keeps scratching there. Suggested to try a shirt to cover it until it gets better.
  11. That's what I was wondering. That Matteo reveal was called when he first appeared. He seems like a kid with not a care in the world, not one with a mom dying of cancer. Maybe he's in denial too. His instant love for Natalie is lame.
  12. I don't know why but the Charmin Bear commercials bug me. Back when they had them in the woods using toilet paper it was funny. It was a play on the "does a bear shit in the woods?' saying. Having them living in a house or at a job makes no sense and loses the whole point of it all. I do love the Chewy Pet commercials. I find myself randomly saying, "Peanut Butter box is here." in an accent.
  13. He said in a previous episode that he was going to be away for a while. I don't know where Nat is though. I'm still not feeling him as Jonathan yet. Peia is Onomatopoeia. I guessed it write before the reveal. Plus it was suspicious how much screen time she was getting.
  14. I think the Sophie storyline was a nod to all the comments and jokes about her disappearing for most of the seasons. Clark needs to ease up on shouting Jordan's name around villains.
  15. Finished the series. I'm glad Joan renovated the brownstone, that place always looked nasty to me.
  16. I didn't like how Season 6 ended. I can't believe Gregson covered for his daughter murdering someone (even a scum like Michael) and was ok with Joan going down for it. So Hannah goes free and Sherlock and Joan are exiled. I do look forward to them in London, though.
  17. I'm in Season 6 and my dislike of Joan's storylines continues. Her sudden need to adopt seems weird and given their lifestyle a bit irresponsible. I wish they had stayed with Joan having her own apartment and agency. She could still have assisted Sherlock. And they made a big deal about Sherlock's head condition, but dropped it after a few episodes.
  18. Since I live across town and don't get over there as much as I want, she has had to warm up to me again each time. Hopefully she'll get past that.
  19. Daisy has really settled in. She gets her walks from my brother, hangs out with my step dad when he's working outside and spends night time with my mom. She loves getting her hair brushed and expects everyone to stop in and pet her when they come by my mom's room. The vet said she is in great health.
  20. It's funny that Wes played Finola's son on General Hospital.
  21. Finished Season 5. Did not enjoy the SBK storyline at all. It didn't seem like a plot line that needed Sherlock or would really interest him. I hated how Joan kept defending Shinwell even after he beat up Sherlock. And she has the nerve to follow Kitty and break into her house just because she's suspicious. So annoying.
  22. I decided to join The House of Halliwell Patreon. I needed to see the videos. They are so entertaining.
  23. I'm in Season 5 and I really don't care about the whole Shinwell story. I wish they had kept Kitty, she was more interesting to me. Like what was the point of adding Joan's half sister? She is hardly in it. I feel like they keep trying to give Joan more things outside of Holmes, but they just aren't that interesting.
  24. Listening to the podcasts is really interesting. Lots of behind the scenes tidbits. I love that Drew and Brian attended Holly's wedding (and so did Charisma Carpenter), it's great that they are all still so close.
  25. I had no idea there was a Charmed re-watch podcast with Holly, Brian and Drew called House of Halliwell. It's on Apple podcasts. There is also a new con panel with Shannen, Holly and Rose (and others) up on YouTube.
