  1. Or Ring Dings? Not sure if that’s a New England specialty. Same size, but with crème filling, not marshmallow. Anyway, I’d eat them! I was in London last week, so I bought a package of Jaffa biscuits, since they’ve had to make them before. Decent, but not something I’d buy again. :)
  2. I've been re-watching old seasons, and I completely agree with the need for an overhaul. Nina only sees what would look good in a magazine...does she realize that magazines are slowing dying? Elaine is absolutely useless, and Brandon thinks he's witty in the vein of Michael Kors, but he's just obnoxious. While we're at it, I'm over avant garde (they don't know what it is), and the unconventional materials challenges. And having them make a couture dress in 10 hours...what's the point of that? To show that it can't be done? They're not inspiring in any way. I'd like more apples to apples challenges...everyone must make a pair of pants, or use the same (nice) fabric. What if they all had to use striped fabric? It would be interesting to see what different designers would do with that. And agree with the above...I could care less about their backstories. I just want to see beautiful clothes (or at least interesting ones. And Mickey Mouse ears on a jacket aren't interesting or beautiful).
  3. But if they had steamers we wouldn't get the ironing mishaps (across the whole franchise!). It's as much a trope as the lame beach picnics.
  4. Shallow thought: I think Jason looks like he gives the best hugs!
  5. Really, they must have been certified divers (they don't let you do that as a lark), so why would they EVER think drinking a few hours before was a good idea? I think it's as much on them as Aesha.
  6. Haha…I was in Italy this year, where a lot of the hotels don’t let you have an iron in your room. I walked down the street and bought a great steamer for $50! That’s probably their goal. “Pot housewives of LA”. Coming soon from Bravo.
  7. Thanks so much to Nachomama and Nashville for their comments on this forum…I have learned so much!
  8. And really...aren't tribal lands supposed to be a separate nation with a negotiated treaty? That's why you can have casinos that aren't subject to state law, correct? I'm somewhat ignorant on the issue, but it seems like tribal law would be equally valid for crimes committed on tribal lands. I don't think Native Americans gave up their rule of law completely when they negotiated treaties to cover things like federal coverage for healthcare, etc. I'd be interested to learn more.
  9. Jaimee ended up paying...I don't know if they Venmo each other or production reimburses them, but it was telling of Culver's character that he's never stepped up. And then he was looking for cash. Maybe Mommy doesn't let him have a credit card.
  10. Whoa...that's really bad. Multiple witness reports confirming his behavior, and that the woman told them at the time it happened. I wonder if he'll actually show at BravoCon.
  11. I was thinking it was some kind of nervous breakdown?
  12. There was that Met exhibition a few years ago that was ecclesiastical, and there were a few Dolce and Armani outfits that were definitely elegant nun outfits.
  13. I’ve seen them wear windbreakers, for purely practical reasons. I think they had them on this week when it was raining.
  14. Bishme’s outfit would look as good on the men as it did on Aesha. It was really good design. Anna’s was ridiculous, and I’m glad she’s gone. Did I imagine a caption when she was sitting outside with Gary where she said she had been divorced for two days?
  15. I’ve sewn for a long time, and it would have taken me two hours at the most to make that “dress” that Anna sent down the runway. I liked Bishme’s jacket, but I’ve seen it before. When they showed last week’s win, Kara Saun’s dress looked even worse than i remembered it.
  16. I can’t believe the prices they charge…the customers must pay those overinflated prices with the hope of getting on TV.
  17. I don’t know…cashew cheese is pretty expensive.
  18. Krystl was awful…when she was drinking champagne right out of the bottle she really showed how totally lacking any kind of class she was. For all that Laura took an hour and a half to get ready, the end result wasn’t spectacular (and her dress looked like she was ready for a day at the office). She’s awfully impressed with herself.
  19. Wow, watching d”pura cepa (SP?) being hugged by Easy Vegan while Khana stood awkwardly off to the side was telling…guess it’s not just us that doesn’t like them.
  20. Re: DD…they have a masculine face and body, so I think it’s difficult to work with that within the designer’s esthetic…too feminine, and they look like they’re wearing a costume, and too masculine and they look like a man. I also think they’re tough to fit for someone used to making women’s clothing. It would be great if one of the designers could make something fantastic for them.
  21. I think there's some confusion about Colin's timeline...he broke up with Martina, the girlfriend he had for his first two seasons on BDSY. Then he hooked up with Britt, casually, at the same time he was hooking up with Daisy, also casually. Then he and Daisy had their time in the sun, broke up, and Colin started a relationship with Britt. None of that makes him a bad person to me.
  22. The woman that Colin was hooking up with on the catamaran, and who is now his girlfriend, is Britt. The ex-girlfriend of two years was Martina.
  23. I will take the stand that if she told Gary, while they were both sober, that he needed to cut the sh*t, and he continued to do it that yes, Glenn and Gary's holding her accountable was despicable. However, we never saw her act like a woman in a relationship and tell Gary to cut it out. If that had happened, I think Bravo would have shown us because it adds to the "Gary is a lecher" persona that he takes great delight in. Also, I think Gary/Daisy/Glenn have some weird friendship going, but I think Colin is out of that circle now. I'll also hold to my opinion that Daisy was drunk during the reunion, hence all the crying (with great waterproof eye makeup!) and yelling and apparently not noticing that her boob fell out of her dress.
  24. I think Daisy was drunk at the reunion…she didn’t come off well. As far as the flirting with Gary goes, she never really said stop…she’d be smiling and laughing and telling him to stop. If she really wanted it to stop, it’s easy enough to say, “Gary, stop it”. Maybe not when they were both drunk, but the next morning, if she really valued her relationship with Colin, she could have had a conversation with Gary to tell him to knock it off. This whole reunion was ugly, and so was the season. Alex, Mads, Lucy, Ileisha and especially Chandler all seem like the grownups in the room.
