  1. I know Rod is tall, but seeing him jump over the fence was impressive!
  2. I don’t understand why Amber and Vinnie didn’t just chase Ricky and Cesar. Clearly they had gotten directions, and the worst thing that would have happened is that they both would have missed the pitstop.
  3. I think I may be done…if they wanted to provide a place for the homeless, why buy a 600 room hotel that needs to be renovated? They could buy the IHG hotel franchise with less than half of Molly’s money. But I guess then it wouldn’t be a comedy.
  4. Noah Springer, the primary. His dad, Timothy Springer, is a famous immunologist and one of the co-founders of Moderna.
  5. Noah’s dad, Timothy Springer, showed up on the Forbes Billionaire list today. He’s won the Lasker Prize (next step is the Nobel), and is a professor at Harvard Medical School…he must be so proud of his trust fund son.
  6. Were team Bargain Block the only ones to add an extra bedroom with an ensuite on the main floor? That might be good for the total valuation, especially if these homes are meant to be vacation rentals.
  7. I liked Keith/Ryan's the best. But what I thought about was hanging around in those backyards with your neighbors literally on top of you! You'd hear every word of their conversations. Ugh.
  8. Geez, you can buy a murder mystery game and have it on hand for dumb theme nights. I'm willing to bet you can even print one right off of the internet. More producer shenanigans. Chef needs help with the pots and pans, I don't remember any other chef being stuck with all of them, there was always someone washing in the galley.
  9. Where do you see that the models were underage? I don't think their ages were ever disclosed. It's very common for designers to fit on a nude model, so that are they working with the way the garment will be worn. If you watch the Valentino doc from a few years ago, you see them draping directly on the model.
  10. I’m watching the new season…I still love hearing the background stories of the golfers (and seeing them work out, so much for golf being a lazy man’s game). The episode about sports psychologists was really interesting to me, I used to work with a woman who treated figure skaters.
  11. I would have outed Phaedra too…she was clearly in a bloc that was going to carry her to the end. And I’m sorry, but all the “bless you” stuff just turned my stomach. I can’t stand her and her eyelashes. MJ…I agree with John. It’s a game, and you didn’t contribute to the pot, so why should you share it? I do agree that CT and Trishelle should have said that, it would have been a hard stop. I hope that they invite Peppermint and a couple of other members of the RuPaul cohort next year…I think they’d be great contestants.
  12. Did Phaedra even try the pontoons once? That’s the selfish behavior I thought Kate was referring to.
  13. In the Australian version of the show, the traitors picked off each other one by one. It was pretty fun to watch!
  14. Did I imagine it or did they show Sunny drinking out of what looked like a bottle of vodka in her bunk?
  15. My skin was actually crawling this whole episode…between the toxic married couple arguing, Kyle’s drunken crying, Lily’s ridiculous outfit and Luka’s s**t eating f*ck boy grin…ugh. What a bunch of unlikeable people. I hope this is Captain Sandy’s last hurrah.
  16. It killed me to see what Jack did with that Beluga caviar! That was at least $1000 worth. You don’t sprinkle it on pasta, and you don’t serve it in its tin. It’s properly presented in a bowl on ice, with caviar spoons, blini and maybe some accompaniments. Obviously the guests didn’t know any better either.
  17. Classic grifter technique. That way when the conned tries to get their money back, the grifter can say "I didn't ask, you forced your money on me". Re: mourning. The Reverend only died hours ago (Larry is still in his evening wear from the night before). Marian will change her clothes after her walk, and a nice nap. She's worn the outfit with the black trim before, it's strictly a style choice.
  18. Regarding Forte and possible money…that is totally not a Boston Brahmin (aka rich) name. Now if his last name was Spaulding, Cabot or Lodge, even Warren, we could discuss.
  19. Don’t forget that Fellowes had an imposter hero show up in Downton, so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that he’s recycling that plot for Maud’s storyline. I 100%believe that there is some kind of scam afoot…nice young ladies in the 1880’s didn’t wait outside for their date.
  20. So Luke probably has kidney cancer, which often presents as a pain in the back. There was surgical treatment of cancer existing then, especially once ether was developed, so it *could* be possible that they do a nephrectomy and give him a year. But I don’t think Fellowes thinks that way. I wanted Luke to go to Mass General in Boston and have a successful operation. Poor Ada.
  21. This was a really great season...lots of likeable contestants, challenges that were interesting but not insane, and Allison was a wonderful addition. And Matty deserved the win, that chocolate cake looked delicious.
  22. I really liked this…I actually didn’t binge it because I wanted it to last. My only quibble is with the casting of young Polly…it wasn’t believable that she was Hillinghead’s daughter, she looked far too old. Greta Scacchi was great as old Polly though. I pay attention to costumes, and I wonder if Esther’s red coat is a reference to the girl in the red coat in Schindler’s List.
  23. I love creme caramel...now I want to make some of those flavored versions!
  24. Well, there was plenty of toxic behavior on the OG, and Captain Lee never seemed to take action unless it was directed toward him.
  25. Or Ring Dings? Not sure if that’s a New England specialty. Same size, but with crème filling, not marshmallow. Anyway, I’d eat them! I was in London last week, so I bought a package of Jaffa biscuits, since they’ve had to make them before. Decent, but not something I’d buy again. :)
