I'm very sorry, LeftPhalange, but you must understand that in order for the Dimera Super-Dooper Corpse-Reviving Elixir to work properly, it must be injected within a short time frame so as to avoid the nasty effect of EJ reviving with his purty face rotted off. The other problem is brain deterioration after a certain period of time and EJ didn't really have that many brain cells to begin with. He could have been revived even stupider than he already was! Maybe as stupid as Eric! Or...god forbid...as stupid as BRADY!!!!! ETA: I'm okay with EJ in the flashbacks, but where were the ones with Sami shooting him in the head or EJ arranging Sami's rape by proxy?

That's a great point. Is anyone happy about the way this has played out? Sure, EJ and Sami will probably end up together but it would have been nice for their fans if they could have seen them truly settled and happy together. The whole thing has sucked, big time.

And oh lordy, I had totally forgotten about the endless flashbacks years - when they would show the same flashback over and over like we were too stupid to remember what happened in the previous scenes! Lazy, lazy writing. I wish they could employ some better writers. We have some good actors on the show that could do so much more. It's very frustrating for all the reasons you list.

ITA about the NuChad. That guy was an awesome hire. Between him and James Read and KDP at times, someone's finally stepped up their game in the casting department. Now if they could do an overhaul with the writers....

Dingy hippie! Hee! I agree with you all that it would have been nice to have EJ dead for longer than a day. But does the injection make him Real EJ or Zombie EJ? I saw Pet Cemetery and you don't want to mess around with bringing the dead back to life. I guess it would be too much to hope for that he comes back with a different personality or no memory of his previous life or a taste for blood.

I have to disagree about this year being the worst. For my money, the worst was about 3 or 4 years ago when literally NOTHING happened but the same people having the same conversations in 2 different sets the size of broom closets. I was bored to the point of coma. This year has been disappointing in terms of storyline resolutions but it did give us Kate and Sami, perhaps one of the greatest Supercouples of all time. I still have hope for those crazy kids!

I'm not sure what kind of ending they were ultimately going for with these two lunatics, but I agree that the writers/Corday dropped the ball big time if they wanted to create a tragic love story. It would have played so much better if EJ and Sami had been living happily and lovingly over the past few months. It's hard to feel like Sami got cheated out of her True Love story when her fiance/husband had been cheating and lying to her for months and then she went for balls-out revenge. For me, the Love Story rang very empty. They had, like, a week of being back together after months of animosity? Ugh, whatever, show. But you know what would be totally cool? If we find out that EJ's been a vampire ALL THIS TIME and he isn't really dead! And now he's PISSED that he got shot and goes around town on a blood rampage! The first one he kills is Abigail and then Will and then Jordan and on down the line until we've cleaned some house here and then Sami stabs him with a stake through the heart and we are finally, really done with ol' EJ. And then Sami goes off with the kids, blah, blah, blah and everyone lives happily ever after without Abigail around.

Ah, yeah, with that hip action, I definitely think it belongs in here! Love how he starts his strip with The Carlton. lol

That's really disappointing. I wanted him to accuse Kristen and then for her to be dragged screaming from the hospital. I'm glad for Theresa though,. However, I'm sure she will eventually spill her guts.

Agree about the singing too - Christine McVie in particular was really off-key during Little Lies. I wasn't glued to the TV but happen to walk by and saw this GIGANTIC orange sign - seriously, it could have been a backdrop for the stage - and the person holding it was positioned where the camera couldn't show the stage without the viewers getting an eyeful of the sign PLUS they were across the street so the producers couldn't get them to take it down. I don't think I've ever seen a sign that big before in the crowd. I gotta hand it to whoever did it - it was genius move.

Oh YEAH! I totally forgot that he can tap - the flamenco should be awesome! Me either. He seems like a sweetheart and I was not a fan before this.

Allison and Antonio doing Bollywood is gonna be chock full of LOLs. I hope Peta does something great with Jonathan to show us what could have been. And Burlesque? Yowza! Can't wait to see what that's all about. I may have to tune in for the cringe factor.

Really enjoyed that Christian band Fleetwood Mac. However, I think their giant orange "Seek Jesus Not Church...Death Ends in Hell" sign needs to be more noticeable.

Oh my yes! I definitely think Clyde is setting EJ up and EJ is gonna fall for it like the dumbass he is. Good riddance. Then Clyde can take Stefano out (please god) and Chad can be in charge from now on. I think Sami backed the wrong pony. This is why I don't really care what happens to Sami. I think she and EJ are both horrible, awful people. They kinda deserve to be together in all their dysfunctional glory. EJ will continue cheating on Sami and then Sami will get her revenge and then they will get back together, promising everlasting devotion and then it all starts all over again. The people I feel sorry for are their kids. It would have been nice for Sami to either embrace all her Bad Girl Glory and continue burning bridges with Kate OR finally get some emotional maturity and leave town with her kids, but alas, neither were meant to be. She's still the same old Sami, leaving town in a very Sami kind of way.

Should we take bets that it will be Friday? Tomorrow's show will be John asking for a priest and a rabbi and a student nurse and Anne the HR rep and Maxine, all before he can do his big reveal. I'm gonna enjoy watching Marlena march around the hospital demanding that people get to John's room IMMEDIATELY. Poor Theresa is gonna have a stroke waiting for the reveal.
