truthaboutluv, I saw that your name is unlinked over at TWoP and came here to find out what happened. That's weird about not even being able to read the forums. I didn't know that could happen! I'm sorry too - I thought it was a good discussion. I know the crowd here is kind of light right now, but I'm pretty sure others will drift over after TWoP closes down. For me, this is the best choice. I agree with Barbra Manatee about the PureDWTS site - I cannot stand the way they treat their commenters. I've seen a commenter post a funny, snarky comment and get shut down hard for daring to speak out of line. They have zero sense of humor. And double agree over how they high five each other over the person they just shut down. I've got no interest in joining a site that treats their commenters like that.

I totally agree. After his drugging, I had a secret fantasy that Father Eric would develop a split personality and become the town stud. Unfortunately the writers chose a much duller path for Eric. Now I wish he would just join the monastery already. I mean, really - he leaves the priesthood for Nicole, but won't have sex with her because they aren't married, but he can't marry her because she's a sinful divorcee. I don't think he has a lot of options here with her.

ITA. I think they will manipulate the votes to create the couples they want. I think the rules have been purposely vague and I'm not a big Grassy Knoll type of person. The whole thing comes off as fishy to me. I don't even understand how the viewers will make some of the couples permanent and then others not. But I am sure the show will explain this all away in a breezy manner that will make no sense whatsoever.

My friend, you are not alone. One of the worst pairings of all time on any soap. Poor GV - so very handsome, but so unbelievably dull. And then we have AZ who is a wonderful comedienne, but is forced to act like the most pathetic, desperate female on the planet. I would give anything for their awful storyline to end. And frankly, I think they've ruined Nicole to the extent that I think I would prefer them to kill her off and bring AZ in as another character. Also, the show needs a lot more Kayla. A LOT more.

*huffing and puffing* I'm here! I'm here! Have I missed anything? Am I too late? Whew! So glad to see the familiar names - I would miss you guys something fierce if the community fell apart. My opinion is still out on the current season, but they sure do seem determined to make it all a giant clusterfuck, don't they? I have my popcorn ready too and I can't wait to see Maks' head explode - cause you just know the producers set this Partner Switch thing up just to mess with Maks.
