I never thought I would be the kind of person who would get upset because a special news report interrupted my soap opera, but GODDAMMIT, THEY INTERRUPTED MY SOAP OPERA!! OK, until I can see the last half hour, I definitely think Sami and Kate are working together and I'm glad to see it verified here. Kate's thoughtful look at Victor and her "just you wait" said it all. Those two are totally up to something and it's not just trying to make Abigail look bad. I also agree that there's something significant about Abby's white dress and Sami taking pictures of EJ and Sami gazing at each other. I know this sounds crazy, but is it possible that Sami's gonna fake out Abigail and EJ and make them marry each other? I'm not sure what that would accomplish, but Kate and Sami are definitely doing a bigger sting than just revenge on EJ and Abby. I am sure of it. I think Theresa knows who Paige is and she's playing JJ. In the town square a couple of days ago, JJ demanded how Theresa knew Paige's name and she was very coy. She definitely knows but I really don't care. Why would the bishop give a rat's ass what Nicole had to say about the papers when she's the one that shredded them? All Eric has to say is Nicole is the heifer who shredded this evidence and the Bishop would say "Welcome back Eric. Check your penis at the door". I really don't care that Eve and Daniel are going to do inappropriate patient/doctor things - I'm just so happy there's a new face around and that she will make Jennifer very, very unhappy.

I don't think there was ever a spoiler about Sami knowing about EJ/Abby, but a lot of people started guessing based on the portrait spoiler (Kate/Sami instead of Stefano or EJ/Sami) and based on Sami's crazed, manic behavior. I agree that it's very out of character for Sami not to act impulsively so kudos to Sami for going for the long con. Our little girl is all grown up! I have to believe that Kate is involved too and maybe there's something involving an overthrow of Stefano. Kate's too smart to sleep with Rafe while trying to get Stefano back. All I really know is that I am so looking forward to all this!

Dandesun, I enjoy Marlena so much more now that I realize she's using Salem as her science lab and exists solely to provoke the good citizens of Salem into varying reactions. Thank you so much for that. I'm looking forward to her future experiments on I SEE AND KNOW ALL! John. If you haven't seen the Stoner Book Club scenes from about a year ago, you absolutely must watch them. JJ accidentally served his mom's book club his "special" doughnuts and most of the females in Salem got stoned. Jennifer is so vibrant and sassy, she's virtually unrecognizable from the Jenn we have today. I held out hope for a long time that the cute Jennifer from those scenes would come back, but that hope is pretty much dead now. I agree about the happy pictures of Jenn and Dan together - when were they taken? I don't remember Jennifer and Daniel ever being happy together long enough for someone to take their picture!

I don't understand why Sami wouldn't go after both EJ and Abigail? Aren't they equally guilty? Sami needs to go for broke with this one and go off the show with a BANG! I am incredibly excited about this. I hope the writers get this right.

Well thank goodness for that. I hadn't even noticed he was gone already. He's as bland and meaningless in this game as he is on the show! So instead I vote for Will. Because boring and sweater vests are not cute.

In her defense, there is no good answer. If I read "tune in to find out!" then I know the answer is yes and the plot is spoiled. I don't see how she could have answered that and not given away the plot. What she should have done is let KM do her interview and it would have been so confusing and all-about-Abby that no one would have guessed a thing.

I feel like all I do anymore is read these posts and give everyone a "thumbs up" because seriously, all you people speak the truth. THANK YOU! And why they can't see this for themselves is beyond me. It's laughable that Nicole says God approved her lying to Eric when Eric was a COMMITTED priest and the ONLY reason he left the priesthood was because Kristen raped him and then Marlena was kind enough to show the sex tape to the good people of Salem and then Nicole was super thoughtful about destroying the evidence that proved Eric's innocence. He stopped being a priest NOT because he loved Nicole and gave up God for her, but because he had no choice. And then after that, his whole attitude was "screw it, can't be a priest anymore, I guess I'll marry Nicole". Nicole needs to act like a grown woman and deal with her part in this mess. You know what would be good? If Eric decided to become a eunuch and his dick was totally beyond Nicole's reach forever. You and me both.

At least the CM version of Will was good for a laugh with his smirking and eye-rolling. I like NuWill all right but at times he looks like he should be auditioning for Up With People or Newsies. And for me, no matter what version of Will we have, I think Sonny could do a LOT better.

I think that's probably the reason. They definitely don't know a good thing when they see one and they would rather force pairings on us than let them happen organically. I do remember reading something where PR felt that his and Hope's characters were becoming second string which happens with aging soap stars, no doubt about it. So yeah, he could have left over Rafe's emergence. He should have stuck around though because bless Rafe's heart, he's such a dim bulb. Bo had nothing to worry about from Rafe.

Everything about Abigail is annoying. But I can see why Will would talk about his mom behind her back - that's the kind of family they are. I don't care how many Mr Rogers vests he wears, Will's no exception. Lastwaltz, the amount of desperation going on with almost ALL the women of Salem is nauseating. Can't any of these woman carry themselves with some dignity? Do they HAVE to have a man to make them happy? Watching Nicole and Jennifer basically prostrate themselves in front of their "true loves" makes me sick. Jennifer should just accept that she and Dan have two different outlooks of life and they are not compatible. Nicole needs to own up to the fact that she screwed Eric over by taking away his choices. And I wish that while she's remembering how she forgave Eric for his false accusations, that she would also remember how much it hurt her and how he was so quick to believe that she would do that to him. Why the hell would she want to be with someone who would think that of her? But of course, by lying to him and destroying evidence, she became exactly the kind of nasty person he accused her of. So why would he want to be with her again? Because she "loves" him? Ugh, these stupid people and their awful dysfunctional ideas about love!

ITA about the outfits yesterday. The first thing I thought when Jennifer showed up at Daniel's is "this is what you wear to get a guy back?" Nothing says sexy like bellbottom capris, a floral smock and a worried frown.

The only person I feel sorry for in the Eric drama is Eric - every other person involved has made it all about themselves. Other than accusing Nicole of raping him - and in some ways that was understandable given his state of mind and Nicole's suspicious behavior - he's been a victim of everyone else's behavior. Personally I hope he doesn't forgive Nicole and he goes back to being a priest. Or he chooses Jennifer which would totally burn Nicole's ass. Why can't Jennifer and Maggie die? So completely sick of both of them. Don't worry about your professional career, Daniel, just blow off your work obligations so you can let those two sob all over you. It's not often I feel sorry for Daniel, but I did yesterday. PLEASE let this be the last time Jen and Daniel break up! I cannot take anymore. I agree that Ben and Jordan have chemistry together. They should considering they shared a space in their grandmother's attic during their formative years.

Yes, I would have much preferred to watch Kate and Sami toast each other as they make plans. I am also less interested in the end result than I am in watching the two of them scheme together. Then when it all came together, it would have been very sweet indeed. So again, I think it's very possible there is no plan - just a lot of awkward setups that should never have happened with better writing. Sami asking Abby to be her wedding planner? The Dimeras are a big deal family and she picks an inexperienced nobody to plan her wedding - um, yeah, sure. Kate wants Stefano back so she sleeps with Rafe when she knows that Stefano will find out. No. As far as Corday and Guzo having contempt for the soap genre - how do these guys have the jobs they do? There are too many other competent people out there who have a real love for soaps and their cheesy silliness. Guza ruined GH - absolutely destroyed all the legacy families and their histories. And now we have more of the same with Corday. It's beyond me why these guys are put in charge.

This is what I'm afraid of. We are all rubbing our hands in glee over the "scheme", but the writers have let us down before. I'm just hoping that based on LK's comments about working on something really great with AS/Sami and the weird asides (Sami telling someone on the phone that it's all going perfectly and the weird argument between Kate and Sami), they really are plotting and there's going to be a grand finale. I agree that impulsive Sami usually charges ahead when she's been wronged so it's hard to be believe that she has the patience to string Abby/EJ along. However, if it really is a scheme to expose EJ and Abby, is it possible that they are working on overthrowing Stefano too? Kate's too smart to fall into bed with Rafe when she's trying to get Stefano back. And there's the spoiler about the portrait too. I would just love for Kate to wrestle power from Stefano with Sami's help. Kate would be a way better crime boss than Stefano. I can certainly see why JS would be unhappy with his character's direction. Romantic pairings aside, he comes off like an idiot when he tries to plot schemes or overthrow Stefano. I'm embarrassed for him. Sigh. EJ would have been such a great evil person. Has he said what his future plans are?

I didn't understand that either. I don't get why all the sudden Rafe turned on Jordan -one minute he's crazy about her, the next he's all GET AWAY BITCH!. Maybe he finally got annoyed with her scrunchy, concerned face.

Oh no, QuelleC! Don't feel like that! It's all good and we all have different opinions. Most everyone here hates Nick and I just loved him to pieces, even when he was strutting around town with his hipster scarf and chai latte, annoying everyone with his cryptic comments and juicy lip smacking. I hated that they killed him off. I do think there are a lot of people who will be extremely upset/stop watching when Sami is gone - the problem with building a show around a single character is that when that person leaves, you have a huge hole in the show. And someone like KM/Abby can't even begin to fill that hole. BUT I do think if handled properly by the writers, the show can grow into more of an ensemble again. Unfortunately, i don't think the writers are up for the task. It's very disappointing to me that we have the opportunity to create a larger scope for the show, but the writers will probably insist on bringing in a new leading lady to fill the hole left by AS and the show will continue to limp along, struggling to make it on the shoulders of one person. And lastly, I will miss the cute, funny Sami that we saw today and I would have enjoyed watching more of her with Kate. There was a lot of wasted potential with those two and I loved their scenes together. How great would it have been if we had a storyline where Marlena realized that Sami had more feelings and respect towards Kate then she did for her own mother?

ITA with this. If Days fails it won't be because of EJ and Sami leaving, it's because of the lazy, mind-numbing writing and storylines. It's a shame too because there are a lot of unexplored avenues they could go with these characters. My unpopular opinion is that I like Paige. She seems smart and together and we could use more of that on Days. She seems like a real teen and I think she and JJ click. Not sure how I feel about all the mom drama coming up but I'll wait to see how that goes.
