Just goes to show how meaningless those awards are. But at least Steve Burton didn't win - I think he may be one of the worst actors in daytime.

I love that picture of Kassie and Greg. He looks like he actually has a personality there. I wish Eric would have a meltdown and become someone interesting.

Will - I don't care he's a legacy character, he needs to die immediately. EJ - for being the most ineffective mobster of all time.

I agree about Jen Lilley. She's a thousand times better than the writing for her character. If they actually had some good writers on Days, she would blow her stories out of the water. And I say this as someone who was completely meh on her in the beginning. I actually see some real chemistry between her and EM but Brady is such a cartoon right now. An enjoyable one, but still a cartoon.

Ooooh! Ooooh! I know this one! Well, Ladybyrd, a few years ago, Bo left Salem with Hope's blessing to look for "evidence" against Stefano. He called in every so often (one-sided conversations - we only saw Hope) and the conversations were brief at best. Then last year, John Black came back in town with a letter for Hope from Bo. The letter told Hope that Bo needed to go "deep undercover" and didn't know when he could contact her again. He didn't bother asking her this time. See ya Fancy Face! Good luck raising our kid! So basically Hope is waiting around for Bo to show up and frankly, if I were her, I would kick him in the nuts and serve him divorce papers. And once again, Days has destroyed a supercouple.

Agreed. I always feel sorry for the actor that replaces a popular actor. Almost always they become the focus of Fan Rage. It's a no-win situation. I think it's much better to go in as a new character than as a replacement for an established character. I guess GW can always talk to Jen Lilley for some perspective. She's had her own problems in that area. It always has to a certain extent but it sounds like they went for broke this year. I like Kathy Griffin but they were asking for trouble with her as a host. And the "social media experts" on the red carpet sound like they just squashed any hope for a chance at the Big Time.

Their (the show and Days actors) reaction is very telling and I guess it's possible the show sabotaged his emmy moment with the wrong clip. I'm actually surprised that CM accepted the award in person - I thought he was trying to put his daytime past behind him. Based on the amount of time devoted to the Gabi Hernandez Goodbye Tour, I think CB would be recognized by the show if she won. I don't think she's leaving Days on bad terms as CM did.

It would certainly be something new and, considering some of the other nonsense on the show, not that far-fetched. Can you imagine the derp face Rafe would make if he found out about Jordan and Ben's Flowers in the Attic relationship? Has any soap ever done sibling incest? And ITA about post-glasses Jordan. Before she lost the glasses, she seemed a bit mysterious and occasionally would make abrasive, unexpectedly snarky comments to Kate or whoever, but now she's the sweet thing in love with Rafe and it is beyond boring. I don't even get the point of the character except to give Rafe someone to coo over. Bleh, who cares? It really is hard, isn't it? I used to love Nicole (but more AZ), but they've really ruined the character for me. Now I just want her to die and AZ to come back as Nicole's bitchy, confident lookalike cousin who won't give Eric the time of day. And again, why would the Bishop want Nicole testifying about the evidence clearing Eric's name? She's the one who destroyed it and lied about it - why on earth would the Bishop think she would be truthful about what she found? Why would anyone expect her to be forthcoming and truthful?

That's hilarious - but then I took a look at his competition in the category. Better EM than that robot Steve Burton. Plus I love Reefer Madness Brady - he's become one of my favorite parts of the show with his "I don't NEED any help!" pissy attitude and comedy gold encounters with John. The wrong clip being shown for CM is really just sad. How hard is it for them to check the clips? My morning news show said the entire ceremony was riddled with presenter errors and gaffes, awkward moments, etc. Great job, guys!

That's disappointing that they've changed Eve's character so much. I think I would have been much more interested in watching the person you all describe from the past than another scheming evil person out to ruin Jennifer and sleep with Dr Dan. You guys have a good point about Jennifer forgiving Kristen but can't get beyond some slights 25 years ago. Ugh, just one more reason to hate her.

All the music on Days is weird. After Theresa left Brady in the park and he pulled out his coke vial, they played something that seemed to be pulled from a terrible 70s drug dealer movie. Obviously they needed to drum it into our heads that BRADY IS OUT OF CONTROL WITH THE DRUGS! It was awful. I wonder if they use music from old porn movies. BOOM-chicka-WOW-WOW! Eve taking a shower while leaving her front door wide open was the dumbest thing ever. What woman does that? Glad you are here kitmerlot, we need you longtime viewers to help us decipher the insanity that is Days history. That's disappointing that they have rewritten history AGAIN to create a story. How hard would it be for them to google Eve/Jennifer and then write around that? Eve was Jack's ex-wife - why can't they make Jen-Jen hate her for that? Or leaving town with her ex-beau Frankie? I don't understand why they had to go to school together for Jen to despise her. Oh, that's right. I keep forgetting that Jennifer is a victim and everything bad that happens to her is everyone else's fault. Of course, they had to rewrite history!

Yeah, where is Rory? I thought he and Bev were glued at the hip. Yes, I was thinking the same thing. How long has it been? 25 years? Get over it. And god forbid Jennifer tell her kids anything about their dad's history. I don't see how a marriage of convenience is somehow worse than Jack raping Kayla. Also, someone remind me again about the content of Jack's book? Was it autobiographical? And if so, wouldn't he write about all his marriages? And why am I overthinking this mess once again?

That's to give us hope that she might jump out of the window someday soon.

ShadowSixx, I didn't realize, but you are absolutely right - the Dannifer breakup is an international incident. I'm surprised President Obama didn't break in for a Special Report about the Great Breakup Tragedy of Our Lifetime. God, could they spend any more time over Daniel's existential crisis? And how brave poor little Jennifer is over the loss of her Great Love? Barf. My one hope is St Naggie's line - "Why, Daniel! This sounds so final!" Please, PLEASE let this be the last breakup. Eve sounds like an overgrown teenager. I really hope she tones down the giddiness. I feel sorry for Paige. OK, Theresa and Brady were really sweet in the park - I know Brady is a dumbass love-addicted cokehead , but those two really sold that scene. I love Theresa except when she's obsessing over JJ because who cares.

I don't think she's offensive or that she's backstabbing anyone or anything like that - KM just seems completely of touch with what's really happening onscreen. Months ago when the "affair" started, she gave several interviews discussing what was happening and nothing she said was accurate. Either she is trolling us or she's so navel-gazing that she can't see the story outside of herself. To me, she really does sound kind of crazy or a whole lotta dim.

I don't know. Paige seems to be smarter than most of the people in Salem - she sees through Bev and Rory's plots, she seems to have Mary Beth's number, she appreciates JJ for the person he's trying to be - I find Paige to be unexpected and refreshing. I'm looking forward to finding out the backstory about her and Eve's relationship. She's been gone so long that I don't really have a problem with someone else taking over the role. I like Kassie so I'm looking forward to her interpretation. I hope we find out that she's only casually interested in Dr Dan and he winds up moping after the one patient he couldn't bag. I'd like Eve to play the field some before settling for one guy.

KM needs to actually watch the show so she can see how the characters really behave. In what universe does EJ act like he cares about Abigail at all, much less have "feelings" for her? I can believe that Abigail has feelings for EJ - she's young and he slept with her and young girls usually think that means the guy loves her. IMO, the worst thing that could happen to Abigail is for EJ to want her and marry her. What a nightmare life that would be. KM does need a PR person - her interviews are completely nutso. I'm reminded of the Friends episode where Joey begs his friends to listen in on his soap magazine interview to keep him from saying the wrong things - and of course, he says the wrong things. Can't fix stupid.

My unpopular opinion is that I really don't care about Sami and Kate's motivation - I'm just so bloody thrilled that FINALLY something juicy is happening. It's been so long!

Ha! EJ kills himself because he's stuck with Abby! I actually think Abby would be very upset if she wound up married to EJ. Her whole family would flip out. EJ would be just completely awful to her - he can barely stand to talk to her. And if Kate and Sami stole the family fortune - oh, what wonderful revenge on the Dimeras. I am okay with Kate and Sami riding off into the sunset as long as they flip off Marlena as they leave.

I think Eve left town with Frankie as a couple but beats me what happened after that. Didn't he go to Africa? And if Paige is her daughter - WHO IS HER FATHER?! Didn't Eve marry Jack? Are Paige and JJ...duh, duh, DUH..SIBLINGS?!
