Typical Salem logic. You would think he would be reluctant to get involved with Hope because she's still married. But then again, when has that ever stopped anyone in Salem before? I feel sorry for the actor that plays Aidan. MR/Jennifer is a chemistry black hole - she will suck the life out of any potential pairing.

It really does defy reality, doesn't it? I understand supporting your daughter/cousin/niece/friend, but really? There's not one person besides Sami and Kate that are giving Abby the side-eye? There's not even a teeny bit of gossiping going on about the girl that slept with the mobster? Abby's mother who lectured her son endlessly over his pot use can't say one stern word to her daughter about making better choices? Give me a break. I get it already. Abigail's an angel from heaven, innocent to her core. Please, show, stop beating me over the head with it.

Oh, I agree. I don't think a couple has to break up continuously to be exciting - in fact, just the opposite. I am over the back-and-forth of Jennifer and Daniel and Eric and Nicole. I think a monogamous couple can be quite fun if the couple works together and are truly meant. Look at The Thin Man mystery-comedy movies from the 30s. Nick and Nora adored each other, you never doubted their love, and it was so much fun watching them interact. The problem with the Days writers is that they don't have anywhere near that kind of talent.

Yes, I totally agree that Sami is going off the deep end. Maybe her show exit will be a nice long stay at a mental institution. After she murders EJ though. OK, that makes sense. I thought Ben and Abby had been together during at least one of her sex romps with EJ. I must admit I don't really pay attention to scenes with Ben and Jordan. Ben in particular has the same effect on me as Ambien.

I've been baffled as well by his blind, casual acceptance of Abigail's affair with EJ. Weren't they kind of dating during all that? I think Ben's mighty unusual from most men who might have felt a bit disconcerted by Abigail's "indiscretion". He seems more upset about Rafe cheating on Jordan than he was about Abigail's fling. Of course, the guy is such a terrible actor - who can tell what he's thinking.

Oh listen! I freaking ADORED Nick/BB! I loved his delivery of his lines and his big, pouty lips and his hipster scarf and latte. I am beyond disappointed that they let the Nick Revenge story be all about boring Will and Gabi and the baby again. It could have been so good. BB was totally up for the challenge. Yes, he was ridiculous, but he could have been such a good, fun villian if only they had let him get out of Will's orbit. Another wasted opportunity. mstaken, I think you and I agreed over at TWoP that we prefer storylines that aren't about couples and love and romance. I don't know if it's because I have such a cynical soul, but I find love stories so dull for the most part. I like couples that have spark and zest, but that's rare these days. I'd much rather have murder mysteries and adventures and wild diabolical villians. In the old soap days, a witty, bickering couple would fall in love while they were off on an uncharted island solving a crime. Now that's a romance I can get into!

I would love that! I really want her away from Eric who seems to make Nicole into this Debbie Downer type of person. AZ/Nicole has so much pizzazz and comedic potential, I would love for her to become the female Jack of the show. Someone involved in her career, whose personal charisma attracts all kinds of interesting people. And if they can't do that, make her a gold-digger again - scheming and manipulative. I absolutely hate the current pathetic, needy Nicole and IMO, Eric isn't close to being the right match for her.

It's okay SwordQueen, I didn't mind Melanie either. I certainly like her more than Abigail and if Melanie returns, I am hoping that Abby will be pushed off the stage for a while. Anything's better than 24/7 Abigail/KM. I think my unpopular opinion is that I'm not particularly interested in the young crowd. Other than T, I find most of them boring and their stories dull. Sonny would probably be a lot more interesting without Will and I hope Will's latest scheme blows up their marriage. I did like the JJ/Rory/Bev interactions because it was something beyond the usual love story junk, but the writers destroyed that friendship with the arrival of Paige. I still don't understand why Rory and Bev had to become assholes just so JJ could be with Paige. I think JJ could deal with more than one friendship. Anyways, whatever happened, I'm just don't really care about anyone on the show under 21. With the exception of Ciara who is brilliantly diabolical. I've got my eye on that girl!

For a minute there, I couldn't figure out who Ben is. Between all the name changes on the show and the messing around with names here, I'm starting to get confused. lol

I agree that Rafe is very pretty and I do like him when he's got that twinkle in his eyes. I did not enjoy him with Sami, especially when they were in that awful tiny apartment with their coma-inducing conversations. And I absolutely cannot stand him with Jordan. But that's mostly her fault, she is so boring and scrunchy-faced.

Oh no, that was definitely the right sound. Rafe's head is filled with air and marbles. It makes very pretty sounds when there's a nice spring breeze. I have no idea, but it really is weird that Sami has fixated on Rafe after all this time. Especially since she knows that Kate wants him back (though God knows why). It makes zero sense that Sami has started to moon over Rafe - doesn't she have enough to do right now?

I actually think I would have enjoyed CM's Will smirking his way through this particular storyline. Maybe it would have been juicy enough to fire up his old acting instincts. I just can't with GW's Will. I want to smack that pug nose right off his face.

With his fresh-from-Mayberry Opie-like appearance and the blank look in his eyes, NuWill reminds me of a sociopath soon-to-be serial killer. Oh my goodness, officer! He looked so nice and clean-cut! I had no idea he had a secret torture chamber in his basement!

I am 100% behind this. I love the idea of them destroying EJ and Stefano and making themselves wealthy. Of all the nastiness that's happening right now, I find Will's behavior the worst. He is secretly recording family and friends to use their words in an inflammatory story that's meant to expose and destroy his own mother and grandmother. He's doing this because Sami "needs to be brought down a few pegs". For me, it's reprehensible behavior on his part and really just unforgivable - moreso than even EJ and Abby's cheating and lying. The affair wasn't meant to deliberately destroy Sami's reputation and family. But Will DOES want to destroy Sami and at the expense of everyone else who is involved. It's just so awful and nasty, I can't get past it. What a complete and utter asshole. I hope this destroys him as well. I love the idea of Lucas riding into the rescue. I like that guy and I wish he were on more.

I totally agree with this. I think if Abby and her fan club would just shut up, Sami would move on to her primary target of EJ. These idiots just keep coming back for more though.

For me, JE will always be Guiding Light's Beth Raines coupled with the gorgeous and tragic Lujack (I love you Vincent Irizarry! Call me!! xoxo) and it is very upsetting that she's playing such a judgmental twat. I'm done giving her a pass too. Adrienne needs to be put down. I'm tired of her showing up just so she can tell somebody how wrong they are. What a waste of a great actress. Same for MBE. Hi SwordQueen! I agree that there are some mighty scary boards out there. I don't know what we would do without PTV! I'm thinking it might be possible that the board will dump all of them from heading up the company which, to me, would be the funniest thing of all. I think Kate and Sami will be fine - those two are born survivors. Stefano will be okay - he can hole up somewhere with his "nurses". And EJ? Well, EJ will be left swinging in the wind - utterly incompetent at everything he does and now the whole world knows it.

Plus his pissy interactions with John make me laugh. The two of them together could go on the road with a comedy act.

I really don't understand why he thinks this is okay. Isn't he writing this expose for a magazine? That's a nice lawsuit they'll have on their hands when the article comes out. Sami is delusional if she thinks Rafe will have her back. There must be something in the Salem water that makes these people so stupid.

For the record, I think Sami's nuts too. I just enjoy her a lot more than I do Abigail. At this point, I want characters that make me want to grab some popcorn. Sami's quips and comebacks are hilarious. I wish I understood who Abigail is supposed to be - I think I would like her a lot more if she was really crazypants. Then I could enjoy her lines like "EJ's favorite artist is Raphael, Sami, but you don't know that because YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW EJ AT ALL AFTER 8 YEARS, YOU PEASANT!!" I mean, WTF? Plus, when did EJ tell her that? While she was riding him in the shower?

I do think Abigail takes responsibilty for her actions and I think she has tried to say as much, but inexplicably, everyone she's spoken with has patted her on the head and told her it's okay. For me, that's a weird reaction - that no one has said "what the hell were you thinking?!" I also think that while she feels somewhat guilty for her actions, she's not particularly sorry for sleeping with EJ and somehow blames Sami for the mess she's in. She screwed (haha) with the wrong person and it's a shame that she didn't understand that before. Now she's got Sami riding her ass and she's upset and lashing out and really, just making the whole thing worse. I don't blame Sami for acting the way she has because, truly, she's the wronged party here, but I also understand why Abigail is behaving the way she does. She's got unconditional support from everyone and she's not quite right in the head. It's a dangerous combination. I mean, we're talking about a girl who photoshopped her boyfriend into a picture with another woman. She's just two steps away from being the new Kristen.

I definitely get the vibe that he is desperately resisting Nicole - didn't he tell Friar Hobo that he still had feelings for her? At least I thought he did, I was just about comatose during those scenes. I truly wish that they could give Eric some pizazz. He is just beyond dullsville. For some weird reason I like GV, but I really do hate the way Eric is written. BTW, I think I must be in the minority about Nicole's hair, but I like the way it looks now. She's had some awful styles recently, but this one I kinda like. I just don't understand why they can't pick a hair style for her and leave it. She has short hair - there's not a lot you can with it and putting little plaits and doodads around isn't fooling anyone.

You would think at the very least he would try to suck up to her so she would definitely give supportive testimony on his behalf. I don't blame him for still being mega-pissed at her, but he needs to smarten up here. He did make me laugh the way he kept looking out the window as if he wished he could ride on the wing.
