ITA. It makes me sad. It was the one show I could count on to create pure escapism for me. I'm also bummed out because I've always enjoyed the DWTS community at TWoP and now here. But I just can't with this crap anymore. I hate how they've mucked everything up to create watercooler moments and controversy and other BS filler. It's not worth the aggravation to me anymore. The hell with it.

Great. A 4th judge. As if we don't spend enough time listening to Bruno's "hilarious" double entendres or CAI sobbing over contrived moments. And by all means, let's get Maks or Julianne to judge their own family. What a super idea. I'm sure there won't be any bias at all. Here's where I am at with DWTS: What used to be my favorite show, full of real ballroom/latin professionals, genuine moments between couples, and lovely classic routines, has now become a hodgepodge of dance styles that no one can do well, staged rivalries and showmances, theme nights of crap music and judges that try to hog as much attention as they can. It's a fucking circus and I'm pretty much done with the whole mess.

I appreciate you guys speculating that Will's main motive for writing the article is to get his name in print and a "cover story". It made no sense to me that he would do all this to benefit Abigail or to destroy his mother. It's nice to know that his motives are much more selfish and mercenary. Thank you for explaining something that the writers clearly could not do on their own. Has anyone pointed out to Will how completely unethical and nasty it was to record interviews without that person's permission? Or is it just one of those Salem things that's completely acceptable when you are one of the "good guys"? It's so hard sometimes to tell the good guys from the bad guys in this town.

They do! I never thought about it before but everyone tiptoes around him and is so careful with his poor wittle feelings. No wonder he's such a privileged little shit. I didn't like CM's Will but I absolutely detest GW's Will. He may take after his mother in a lot of ways, but he has none of her charm and zest for life.

Well obviously the solution is to remove Derek and Mark from the show! lol If they hired Shirley Ballas as a judge, DWTS would be must watch TV for me. Or how about Melanie LaPatin?

My feelings exactly. I love Allison's dancing and I remember her very well from Season 2 SYTYCD - she was extraordinary. But I would much rather watch a competition ballroom professional be hired as a new pro. Additionally, I remember from SYTYCD that Allison did not have the type of personality that communicates well to an audience. She was an amazing and talented dancer but was sent home earlier than expected. DWTS requires that their professionals be able to dance, teach, AND have a compelling/magnetic personality. Those pros that don't are sent home early and not asked back. IMO, talent is not the only ingredient that is necessary to be a successful pro.

Holy crap! Is this a rumor? I knew Maks might get on the judging panel, but to replace Len as Head Judge?! Why can't they replace Carrie Ann who brings a whole new meaning to the word "inept"? And if Len is retiring altogether, can't they find someone with more judging expertise than Maks? Have they just completely given up on any credibility at all? And I agree with BeaVee that Maks really doesn't need to be on the permanent judging panel as long as Val is competing. I don't have a big problem with Maks judging (except not as Head Judge - give me a freaking break), but I do think that it's ridiculously unfair to have Maks judging his own brother. What the hell, show?

I couldn't agree more. They are really losing me. I'm enjoying Kate and Sami, but that's about it. And when Sami's gone, does Kate get side-lined? I hate just about everyone else - I don't just find them dull, I actively despise watching them onscreen. I can't think of any reason to watch a show full of righteous, smug busybodies. Especially if Abigail is the centerpiece of the show. Ugh, no thanks.

According to Salem Law, if Dr Dan does anything remotely illegal, it's automatically assumed to be for The Good of the People and A-OK with the cops. I'm surprised he hasn't been awarded an honorary badge by now. He's not just a surgeon! He's not just a cop! He's Super Dan! Shoots the bad guys and then stitches them right back up for JUSTICE! My two cents about KM/Abigail - I hope to God that she's not going to be be the new "star" of the show. That will be it for me - she's the worst. Not even my love for the awesome Kate would keep me watching if Abigail is in every story line with her smug face.

Sharna strikes me as being fairly outspoken with her opinions and not shy at all with the press. While that may be acceptable behavior for Maks, I wonder if the producers didn't appreciate that quality in Sharna. Just speculation on my part, but it's my feeling that the show likes their ladies to keep it zipped. See Edyta and Lacey. Well, it's their loss. Sharna was a real asset to the show.

Why stop there? How about making her a prostitute? It's the go-to job for most of the ladies of Salem at one time or another. I'm pretty sure EJ could give her a reference for that.

The funny thing about the spoilers is that most of the time we've all predicted EXACTLY the way the show goes. I go into Spoilers to read something that was speculated on by one or more of us months ago. So I don't see them as Spoilers so much as verification of our predictions. I wish I would read something that would really surprise me like Daniel fails at surgery or the new man in town picks Nicole over Jennifer or Hope.

I would love for Abigail to ask EJ for a job. I would love to watch the dismayed look on his face as he tries to say no. I hope she pursues him as aggressively for a job as she did for sex. EJ has become such a joke that it's amusing for me to watch people manipulate him and make him dance to their tune. The scene where Victor revealed he just bought the Dimera companies and asked EJ to consult was a thing of beauty. Victor's wicked amusement while EJ was blinking and stuttering was so much fun for me.

While it probably is Sami that gives the editor Abby's name, it's ridiculous for anyone to think that Abby wouldn't have been named otherwise. Any journalist worth their salt would have found out the name of the mistress and published it. Will's a moron to think that she wouldn't have been exposed because he just wrote The Young Lady or whatever. Do these people live in a bubble? Since when do the people who cheat with someone relatively famous and well-connected not get exposed as well? I'm glad that Will gets burned - he deserves it for being so fucking stupid and awful.

Thank you, shesajar, that's exactly what I meant by saying Nicole was "better than that". Ever since she accused Jennifer of killing her baby, Nicole has been on a steady path of redemption and it was clear that she was becoming a better person who was genuinely remorseful for the awful things she's done. I'm not sure I've ever seen that from Sami. She just careens impulsively from one situation to the next. I think I would have enjoyed Nicole shredding the evidence if I thought she was coming from a place of Evil instead of pathetic neediness. I like my asshole villians to be really Evil and Dastardly, not terrified by the thought of living alone with cats. Ha! EJ hires a hitman, the hitman aims for Sami, EJ suddenly flashes to tender memories of his One True Love, and throws himself onto the hitman's gun just in time. Perfect! I like it! the only other thing that's needed is for Sami to spit on his body.

I see what you're saying, shesajar. When I think about it, I guess I find Nicole's behavior more upsetting because it was such an abrupt left turn. She was doing the right thing for Eric when she rescued him from the hotel, she withstood his awful accusations and still looked for evidence to clear his name, she was actively trying to be a better person. And then suddenly, the writers had her destroy the evidence and ask God which nightie she should wear to seduce Eric. WTF? The whole thing really pissed me off. Sami's always been a selfish asshole so I don't have a big problem with her acting like one. Nicole, on the other hand, should be better than this. I just need the Eric/Nicole/Kristen storyline to go away and soon. And one more thing. Why on earth would Nicole want to be with someone who tells her to her face that he hates her and does everything but spit in her face? I can understand her wanting to repair their broken friendship but why would she want to marry this jerk?

They need to start taking lessons from Marlena on how to look disdainfully at Nicole.

They are definitely hinting at someone trying to murder Sami, but I don't think she will die. Here's what I think is going to happen - the gun will be aimed at Sami, the shot will be fired, and EJ will jump in front of the gun to save his One True Love who he cheated on. As EJ gasps his final breaths, Sami will forgive him and tell him that she loves him, has always loved him and can he please forgive her for selling the Jackson Pollock at such a greatly reduced rate. Floods of tears ensue and from here on, EJ Dimera will known as the Saint of Salem - no one will ever again mention what a dick he was. Sami will leave town because how can she live in the town with So Many Memories of her Lost Love. The End.

I'm willing to get past the awful storyline of Nicole destroying the evidence, but only if she stops acting like it wasn't her fault his name wasn't cleared or her whole "what's the big deal?" attitude. She needs to SHADDUP!

Good point. Maybe that's why I have such a hard time envisioning JE's Beth with Phillip. Anything to wipe that smug expression off his asshat face. I'm sure the editor will soon clue in that the girl in Will's apartment was the Mystery Mistress. Would love for this to become a TMZ sort of thing where she has to hide from the press. Oh noes! Will was just trying to help but instead made the whole thing so much worse! Now she'll never find a job!

I completely agree. I didn't even notice that Henry's name wasn't on the pro list. WTF - he gets one shot and that's it? I would a million times prefer to have Gleb and Henry rather than Tony and frankly, I would prefer if they were used instead of Derek and Mark. I think Mark and Derek are talented, but I'm so TIRED of them and the inevitable arguments about them especially Derek. And I would be okay with Cheryl and Karina taking time off too. It's just the same old thing, over and over again.

I've been seriously considering quitting this show and this just adds to my feeling of "I'm done". I like Allison Holker, she's an immensely talented dancer, but I do not consider her a ballroom expert. I'm tired of the Ballroom Lite pros. Unless they get a star or two I really want to see, I just don't think I care to watch anymore. Peta and Witney are back but no Sharna? Bleh. And Tony needs to retire from the show for good. Dull and lackluster doesn't even begin to describe him.

Yep. After poor Lujack bit the dust, Beth moved on to Phillip and they became a supercouple, but for me, I just didn't feel it. JE is pretty amazing that she can create chemistry with just about anyone she's paired with. One more reason to hate the writers for wasting her talents and making her into the town harpy. Ugh, I totally agree. Enough already. If I were a Salem resident, I would walk the other way when I saw Abigail coming with her victim/martyr face and wobbly brave smile. Everything about her is annoying as hell. I take back the nice things I said about Nicole's hair. I don't know if it was because of that supremely ugly dress she was wearing, but Nicole looked like shit yesterday. And that pearl collar was the worst! The whole effect of her outfit and hair made Nicole look like a hulking linebacker.

Nope, I hate Eric too. He really is a terrible priest. I would love for him to join the monastery and leave the show. When Eric is onscreen, the show just grinds to a halt. I like Greg Vaughn, but this role is the worst. Dude needs to ask for his character to have a brain transplant so he can be someone new.
